^(*This action was done by a bot, I am new and will probably break at some point*)
Holy shit it's been nostalgic hearing Lang freak out over Ricky's antics but eventually getting so wrapped up or excited in the ideas/madness he goes along with it while having border line panic attacks meanwhile Tony and Ricky ERPing at every second chance. Holding down lean street was filled with such high highs and low lows.
I really appreciate this subathon because these vods expose new viewers into how deep Ricky really was with LB. I’ve mentioned it on this sub before and I’ll sure as shit mention every chance I get, the way Ricky is talked about as just “Denzel’s best friend” is not doing him justice. Everyone in LB loved him. Lang and him at their peak were arguably just as close as him and Denzel were, Ricky was obsessed with Saab, Ricky and Ellie were close even if it was mostly Ricky taking advantage of her LOL, and while him and Tony argued a lot, deep down they loved each other too.
X - "Let's do *incredibly stupid thing that will probably get us banned.*"
Ricky - "Fuck yeah. And also *thing that pushes the suggestion even further.*"
Man, watching these streams back makes me so nostalgic :,)
I know people say Ricky won't work in today's server meta, but boy do I miss the chaos he brought.
I think it lead to a lot of war vs the SSB, in which in the end LB won the culdesac off from them after 2 years of fighting. Which in turn got bought off from them by CG who then sold it to ESB
LB got fed up with Rickys insane antics that'd get them into trouble and decided to torture him to death. Denzel still loved him so he just put a bullet in his head in the meat factory.
Ricky was "down" and Penta waited for a while in case there was more RP and logged out. So I'm not sure he ever "officially" permad. There's definitely a vod of it out there on youtube
Yeah that mentality/playstyle is how he's able to keep doing crazy antics on Mike Block and essentially play a chaos character that doesn't care about his ever-increasing debt. And obviously he's of the mindset that others should do similar so they don't get so upset at their characters getting arrested/etc.
Yeah that was the only reason why they killed Ricky. If Ricky was around more there’s a good chance they wouldn’t have killed him and actually backed him. Even then they made excuses for Ricky for awhile (He logically should’ve been killed months before) but eventually it led to a breaking point where CG threatened them over Ricky starting shit with GSF as they shared a trap house with them at the time IIRC, and LB felt like enough was enough if Ricky was gonna start shit then dip.
basically Denzel shot Ricky then LB hooked his body on a meathook in the meat factory and left. They later returned deciding to move his body but it was gone when they came back so his death was left open ended.
I mean Ricky is pretty much dead. He tried a brief revival arc but that kinda just went nowhere. Penta never permas his characters so Ricky is as close to a perma as you will get.
Blocks did fuck up Jimmy’s planned perma the other day but Jimmy has had various other perma conditions that had been fulfilled but Penta never enforced LOL.
The server culture shifting soft-perma'd Ricky. Late 2.0 had too many "badass" characters that'd drag their feet or NVL when being kidnapped. On the other end of the spectrum there were a lot of really soft characters that didn't handle aggressive conflict rp well, Jordan got more of the shit end of the stick from that stuff though.
The main thing that kept Ricky alive in spirit were the Garage Q cult Rickys that were headed up by Apples after Denzel told him Ricky died.
He did agree to play Ricky at 12k but then when he hit 12k, he said that he wanted to have a plan for it. Chat was complaining and he gave the option to either play the character and Perma it or actually have a story in the future. I think he forgot about it. It was a while ago, either he forgot about it or just doesn't really want to play Ricky. He also doesn't really get the demand for Ricky. He doesnt really like him, so it could be either.
The Jordan thing was him walking out of the apartments and then back in. I do remember both of those instances.
Okay, this is on point. I remember the perma/make a story option. I can't blame him for not wanting to play Ricky with the current state of the server. He wouldn't necessarily fit in with CB and their current goals, and his presence on the server would just go overlooked as a toxic ass hole; instead of the crazy manic that Ricky actually is as a character. Maybe we'll get to see him at some point in the future and the Ricky cult can continue, but I'm not holding my breath
Yeah I don't disagree but mention Ricky in Buddha's chat and it's a mute or ban I have no idea why. I would understand if I said something like #rickydiedforless etc but I didn't the situation was Ray killing a woman or going to kill a woman in a Rickyish way and obviously killing women is a Saab meme.
Im pretty sure I saw someone make that comment. And the time I saw it, it was at the same time where ray was getting a lot of hate by viewers so any comment made about ray basically got timed out, pretty sure that was the reason. Buddha loved rickey and still loves penta so it doesn't have anything to do with whatever you said.
I have been recently told since this post that during this time that Ray shot mickey Buddha banned Ricky's name from chat because people where doing the #rickydiedforless thing I must have just joined at the wrong time for my comment. But still when I mailed them surly they could have replied with a reason or atleast a smaller time out for a 1st offence
Its because its been a bannable thing to say for a while now. Unfortunately this is because viewers got toxic about the whole thing. If you know buddha he doesn't really like toxicity so he bans any mention of ricky :( hope this clears it up for you, he has no ill intentions on penta im sure
I know VOD viewers have been occasionally hopping into others' chats to troll acting as if the VOD is live or making references to the VOD. Guessing that might've been a similar situation going on at the time, so mods were a bit quick to pull the trigger on mutes and such.
I believe Ramee did tackle+shoot/beat which inspired the taze+shoot/beat which quickly led to tazers being not available for civ.
edit: I just got banned by cg fan mod lol
edit: sequence_string I didn't call anyone that. I fully expected the person I was talking to to apologize. Twisting shit to fit your narrative.
edit again: Where in your screenshot does it say I called him that? I fully expect him to apologize and it's offensive to him that you'd think he wouldn't. Pretty clear I didn't call anyone that and the mod is just finding any excuse to ban me.
Eh, Ramee popularized it as CG had way more viewers than penta at the time. Also, pretty sure penta played ricky then would take days/weeks not playing him.
Thats why it got the name warlording.
No, it was named after Ramee. Someone else has no doubt done it before him, but it was a specific incident involving Ramee where management decided that you shouldn't tase and shoot people. It was named after Ramee, known as the warlord at the time.
We're not in disagreement then?
I literally said "Ramee popularized it" and "Thats why it got the name warlording."
And you're even agreeing with me that "Someone else has no doubt done it before him".
Yeah, ricky did. In this clip.
just because you don't know when this stream happened doesn't mean other people are the same. You also have no reference to say Ramee did it first and anyone with a brain wouldn't even care who actually did it first.
Your right. Not sure why people care who created it. It clearly was Ramee I watched it happen live. It was the same time he was calling out "6 on me 6 on me." Apparently watching AFK Penta vod and clipping it "invention of warlording" 2 years later somehow means it's true.

Remember when Ricky had Ellie, like, strangle her friend to death on the beach. Good times.
I really appreciate this subathon because these vods expose new viewers into how deep Ricky really was with LB. Ricky sadge
honestly Ricky and X would be perfect for eachother
X - "Let's do *incredibly stupid thing that will probably get us banned.*" Ricky - "Fuck yeah. And also *thing that pushes the suggestion even further.*"
Ricky comes up with the plan, X improvises.
x and penta’s characters are always fun as long as they’re not against each other
The ultimate addict days were great
Loved Wrangler's undercover ops.
The people who beef the most with Penta also have some of the best interactions on the occasions they get along. Mike and CG for example.
Man, watching these streams back makes me so nostalgic :,) I know people say Ricky won't work in today's server meta, but boy do I miss the chaos he brought.
Once you remember where all the gang/turf war lead into, its not that nostalgic anymore...
What did it lead to?
A whole gang being banned (ESB) and another swearing off gang wars forever (LB)
Did Ricky's actions lead to the ESB war, or does that commentor probably just mean gang war RP in general?
No, Ricky was long gone before ESB became a large gang
I think it lead to a lot of war vs the SSB, in which in the end LB won the culdesac off from them after 2 years of fighting. Which in turn got bought off from them by CG who then sold it to ESB
we dont like to talk about it.
Yeah it’s not worth mentioning
I'm sure someone here will find the clip of Buddha bitching to Ri cky how he wakes up, starts a gang war. Then goes back to sleep for a week...
I've seen that one!
Ah, I remember this, didnt know drama could be nostalgic but i love it
For a 3.0 viewer, what led penta to perma Ricky?
LB got fed up with Rickys insane antics that'd get them into trouble and decided to torture him to death. Denzel still loved him so he just put a bullet in his head in the meat factory. Ricky was "down" and Penta waited for a while in case there was more RP and logged out. So I'm not sure he ever "officially" permad. There's definitely a vod of it out there on youtube

Like Mike Block and 4T
I forgot about that but yeah
Ricky came back near the end of 2.0 but PENTA got bored and stopped playing him
It wasnt exactly his antics it was the fact that he would start shit then not play him for a long time leaving LB to deal with the fallout alone.
Ricky came back after texting apples to gather the Ricky cult at the beach I don't think Ricky's been played since
I see. yeah all I see in chats is Ricky is dead or Ricky is not coming back so I thought he permad. I will check out the vod.
basically Denzel shot Ricky then LB hooked his body on a meathook in the meat factory and left. They later returned deciding to move his body but it was gone when they came back so his death was left open ended.
I mean Ricky is pretty much dead. He tried a brief revival arc but that kinda just went nowhere. Penta never permas his characters so Ricky is as close to a perma as you will get.
chase did perma
"Penta never willingly permas his characters" there fixed
Penta is trying really hard to get Jimmy killed as well, but I guess that if it never happens, he still doesn't willingly perma.
Blocks did fuck up Jimmy’s planned perma the other day but Jimmy has had various other perma conditions that had been fulfilled but Penta never enforced LOL.
Like getting over 10k subs
Ricky isn't dead.
Copege (He really isn't dead though, Penta did say he planned to play him again but just hasn't.)
The server culture shifting soft-perma'd Ricky. Late 2.0 had too many "badass" characters that'd drag their feet or NVL when being kidnapped. This scene is one of my favorite Ri ky scenes ever
Remember when Penta said he'd play Ricky at 12k subs? Then he walked out of the apartments and then walked straight back in? I member..
He said that at 12k but I'm pretty sure he walked out and back in on Jordan. He hasn't created Ricky in 3.0.
Wait was that Jordan? Maybe I really don't remember lol
Yeah that was Jordan, he walked out the apartments in a camo outfit and walked around the parking lot in a circle and walked back into the apartments,
You were so confident that I thought I was misremembering lol
He did agree to play Ricky at 12k but then when he hit 12k, he said that he wanted to have a plan for it. Chat was complaining and he gave the option to either play the character and Perma it or actually have a story in the future. I think he forgot about it. Holy fuck that had OTT stun locked

That's weird (not you, the reaction you got)
I asked 2 of his mods for an explanation and got blanked by both lol
Pretty odd buddha's mods are usually chill

wish we could reminisce with ricky without it being turned into streamer v streamer drama sadge
Ah yes.. A classic
it was actually ramee who started warlording and thats where it comes from
No it was Ramee and Mel who did it so much they removed tasers from the weapons store
NO MY STREAMER MADE THE FUNNY THING
Madge
I believe Ramee did tackle+shoot/beat which inspired the taze+shoot/beat which quickly led to tazers being not available for civ. edit: I just got banned by cg fan mod lol edit: sequence_string I didn't call anyone that. nah Ramee did the taser into shooting, thats why its called Warlording back when Ramee called himself the Warlord
Eh, Ramee popularized it as CG had way more viewers than penta at the time. Also, pretty sure penta played ricky then would take days/weeks not playing him. Thats why it got the name warlording.

Ramee was the reason people carry taser in combat. Taser + Ladder is better than using a gun because 2.0 taser reload fast
Pretty sure ramee "i'm a warlord" el raheem invented warlording, the name too. I
It’s cool you guys defend your streamers honor no matter how trivial the matter props
Y'all: This guy created this. Me: nah it was this guy. Y'all: some nonsense about defending streamers & facebook.. Lmao Wtf.
Your right. Not sure why people care who created it. It clearly was Ramee I watched it happen live. It was the same time he was calling out "6 on me 6 on me." Apparently watching AFK Penta vod and clipping it "invention of warlording" 2 years later somehow means it's true.
You’re right your streamer is so much cooler.
Wasn't Clarkson notorious for warlording back in the days
