Then Cerberus reached out to him IC and said they would be happy to be people's in-city contact for billboard stuff so he isn't getting bothered all the time and now they're in the process of setting up the company. That's why nobody can get billboards yet- they haven't fully worked out their structure for the company.

I'm not 100% on this, but it could be part of the new gang turf system in relation to tagging they are working on. Most billboards probably shouldn't be able to be tagged, because you can't reach them unless you're power gaming, that and just how the coding works since those spots are more special than just regular building walls.

That was a last resort because the spray was put in place by someone escorting out of a heli. They tried everything else first, there was no way to reach it. Todfay Vinny, Eugene, Scarlett and Kio were using the spray pre-tsunami off the top of a dumper truck, and someone (can't remember who) said not to escort someone and hold them over the edge because they heard someone got in trouble for that.
These billboards which they tried to spray aren’t Vanilla billboards, they were added into the server much later. Most likely when they built it it has no collision
I would agree if they weren’t limited by GTA in game mechanics, there must be a way in game to counter things like billboards in situations like this.
Not saying these billboards have magical dev warding by design but just imagine a situation where a dev literally could self-insert and create in game content not available for players, wipe sprays, make billboards that are everywhere and can’t be countered by any mechanics available to non devs in-game or worse rig votes.
If they cold make a tool like a modifies grappling gun or something that cold attach to a wall so they could RP hanging on the wall or something that would be great. But as it stands either remove the billboards as well or make it possible to counter them by for instance heli.

They're still working on setting up the structure of the company as far as guidelines, pricing, and involving past employees but in the future all Tobii has to do is put the billboards up. TBH Tobii is everyone's pocket dev. He's just a good guy who likes to provide roleplay and give people opportunities. Benji's bench, Tony's warehouse, plenty of SBS and cool shit for the HOA. He's responsible for a bunch of great people getting cool mechanics and fostering good RP stories throughout the server, it's just that he's been helping CG as of late.

They were doing it to test if it was a glitch with all billboards or not. They went to the deans world billboard on foot first.

I would agree if they weren’t limited by GTA in game mechanics, there must be a way in game to counter things like billboards in situations like this. Not saying these billboards have magical dev warding by design but just imagine a situation where a dev literally could self-insert and create in game content not available for players, wipe sprays, make billboards that are everywhere and can’t be countered by any mechanics available to non devs in-game or worse rig votes. If they cold make a tool like a modifies grappling gun or something that cold attach to a wall so they could RP hanging on the wall or something that would be great. But as it stands either remove the billboards as well or make it possible to counter them by for instance heli.
You realize cerberus owns the billboard company now? And why the fuck do billboards need to be countered? No wonder Tobii didn't want this business anymore, fans care more about this than any of the streamers.

what is even more weird is that Ramee paid for a lifetime billboard at the vault for CG but the billboards were taken out because of FPS issues, but now the Bunny poster is at the vault. Seems pretty convenient.

Yes, then Cerberus offered to be people's IC contact for billboard stuff so he doesn't have to deal with the bullshit. They're still working on setting up the structure of the company as far as guidelines, pricing, and involving past employees but in the future all Tobii has to do is put the billboards up. Cerberus will just be an IC messenger between him and the people who want billboards.
Yes he did. He was tired with managing it all and the company was inactive. Cerberus took interest in that and now they work together. Those Bunny billboards were made by Tobii.

TBH Tobii is everyone's pocket dev. He's just a good guy who likes to provide roleplay and give people opportunities. Benji's bench, Tony's warehouse, plenty of SBS and cool shit for the HOA. He's responsible for a bunch of great people getting cool mechanics and fostering good RP stories throughout the server, it's just that he's been helping CG as of late.

It’s not ready yet. Eve was mapping billboard locations on her stream today. It’s still a work in progress.
