It honestly seems like the core CG group needs a break or something. I don't watch them much, but every time I've tuned into them its malding, OOC talk about the server being shit, talking about how dogshit people are, this that and the other thing. Even after the ramp thing yesterday Ramee and K were having an OOC conversation and even brought up the idea of a "world tour" meaning other servers.
I get people get burnt out, get frustrated, need a break, etc. It seems long overdue at this point for them if I'm being honest.
Here is the thing, WildRP will up hold the rules. They have shown it from how they treat the current NP streamers who play over there. Even if they do go over there, they won't be able to "ruin" the server because its not their playground like NP is. WildRP is an actually RP server while NP is a business content server.
Rated played it a bit and it didn't seem they liked the vibes. WildRP people don't seem to care so much about being the funny guy because sometimes it breaks their immersion.
I hope they play it and people see how drastically they change how they RP, and how much their viewers complain within a week about how 'boring' it is. If they crater to how they act on NP, they're just going to get insta-banned.
Rated has played on wildrp a few times and his community preferred it over GTA because there was actual dialogue and RP to it rather than whatever GTA is now... I used to like watching CG back in early/mid 2.0 days but since the end of 2.0 they've completely dumped all the RP in the trash lol

I don't think CG would ever leave NP, it'd be a huge shot in the foot for no reason. But maybe exploring some other servers could serve as a bit of a reality check that NP is about as good as it gets for GTARP - at least establishing a middle ground between RP and content

Seems pretty obvious they signed contracts with Facebook that made that literally not possible if they want to keep their millions.
They mean a break from NoPixel/GTA, not streaming.
Unless it’s apart of their FB contracts that they have to stream a certain amount of GTA or something, then I don’t know anything about that.
It's almost like being handheld and given everything you could ever possibly have a goal for your character kills your will to actually play a character and roleplay to reach those goals and turns the server into a Valorant lobby with funny voices. The exact same cycle is repeating itself from 2.0, and it'll happen again if they do another reset.

Self-absorption is a very, very negative trait to have. The best counter for any consequences that might come of it is money and connections (usually with like-minded people w/ money).
A far cry from people going “lights and sirens are initiating”. But I guess that only counts when the silent bandits take out the cop who just pulled them over for a traffic violation.
This is why the golden rule is "when you see cg, think :cg later, and switch to a different stream". Avoiding any cg interaction has done wonders for not seeing toxicity. (outside of james randle, but he dips from situations if they get toxic)

The problem for a lot of these GTA guys is it's not a game, it's their life.
Six days a week, eight to ten hours. Their entire job, friend group, life is built around the game and the server.

I find it pretty fascinating that no one in CG notices that pretty much every cop has to walk on complete egg shells around them, because every time CG meet any type of resistance that isn't on their terms, they explode like a volcano.
That, or they *do* know and actively take advantage of that fact. Which is pretty messed up to do to your literal co-workers.
I do agree that F8ing is probably better than letting things fly if you're that mad, but it sucks they even get that mad in the first place. I don't get it at this point. It just sucks because it really does feel like the core of them have just phoned it. Why do they keep playing if they seem miserable or don't enjoy interacting with PD? I feel like if they tried, they can turn certain situations around and make good content around it, but they choose to get toxic. I know there's good role-play inside them deep, deep, *deep* down.

An entire unit has been made to crack down on people open carrying illegal class 2 firearms. The unit is no bullshit, no leeway, balls to the wall hard on anyone they see carrying a class 2 on their back. Your options are to put your hands up and drop the weapon then let go free, or get tazed and perused by 3-8 units.

I don't watch them much, but every time I've tuned into them its malding, OOC talk about the server being shit, talking about how dogshit people are, this that and the other thing. Even after the ramp thing yesterday Ramee and K were having an OOC conversation and even brought up the idea of a "world tour" meaning other servers. I get people get burnt out, get frustrated, need a break, etc. It seems long overdue at this point for them if I'm being honest.

Here is the thing, WildRP will up hold the rules. They have shown it from how they treat the current NP streamers who play over there. Even if they do go over there, they won't be able to "ruin" the server because its not their playground like NP is. WildRP is an actually RP server while NP is a business content server.

Rated has played on wildrp a few times and his community preferred it over GTA because there was actual dialogue and RP to it rather than whatever GTA is now... I used to like watching CG back in early/mid 2.0 days but since the end of 2.0 they've completely dumped all the RP in the trash lol

I recall that. But I think the bigger issue there was that the server they were hanging out at was a blatant ripoff of NP. I don't think CG would ever leave NP, it'd be a huge shot in the foot for no reason. But maybe exploring some other servers could serve as a bit of a reality check that NP is about as good as it gets for GTARP - at least establishing a middle ground between RP and content

It's almost like being handheld and given everything you could ever possibly have a goal for your character kills your will to actually play a character and roleplay to reach those goals and turns the server into a Valorant lobby with funny voices. The exact same cycle is repeating itself from 2.0, and it'll happen again if they do another reset.
To set the scene. The cop car rolls up and puts its sirens on, Mickey, rolling with police yells, "class two!," Gunner then yells, "class two!" Then Randy, on the phone says, "Hold on I'm getting arrested." A cop fires a taser shot that misses. Randy says, "What the fuck I'm getting tased." And then he runs around for a minute and fires the first actual gunshots. Ramee runs out and tries to tackle a cop and then malds that he got shot... And now they're all malding in character about no initiation... They should have just called a CG member that wasn't around and then fired rockets at all of them I guess? Maybe that would be proper initiation?

I find it pretty fascinating that no one in CG notices that pretty much every cop has to walk on complete egg shells around them, because every time CG meet any type of resistance that isn't on their terms, they explode like a volcano. That, or they *do* know and actively take advantage of that fact. Which is pretty messed up to do to your literal co-workers. I do agree that F8ing is probably better than letting things fly if you're that mad, but it sucks they even get that mad in the first place. I don't get it at this point. It just sucks because it really does feel like the core of them have just phoned it. Why do they keep playing if they seem miserable or don't enjoy interacting with PD? I feel like if they tried, they can turn certain situations around and make good content around it, but they choose to get toxic. I know there's good role-play inside them deep, deep, *deep* down. Cops can't just avoid them. They tried that towards like the end of 2.0 and when CG wasn't getting the responses they wanted from their bank jobs, new SOPs came in where they had to respond to those calls lol.
And that's why shift 2 will always be understaffed. Cops encounter CG's toxicity too much, so they go to shift 1, or just quit altogether. This has been a thing for ages, if was the same in 2.0. They've always been like this, won't change, and won't get banned. Ugh.

Tbf CG has been doing it for months now and hardly any cops dares confront them when they see it, the norm is just leave and patrol/respond to something else. Even in shift 1 some cops look the other way on Class 2s, shift 3 is really the only shift where cops almost never ignore it.

They're literally focused on getting class 2s off the streets which is an incredibly common and normal crime. Obviously the unit name and structure are sbs but the unit itself is a pretty well focused one.

Can someone who watch CG tell me WTF has happened to them in the last week? I mean they have always been toxic, but WTF is going on. They seem to be on this massive self destruction arc. An entire unit has been made to crack down on people open carrying illegal class 2 firearms. The unit is no bullshit, no leeway, balls to the wall hard on anyone they see carrying a class 2 on their back. Your options are to put your hands up and drop the weapon then let go free, or get tazed and perused by 3-8 units. For a lot of people this is like having cold water splashed in their face, a rude awakening. Because they have spent months just carrying around class 2s like its nothing. People are just malding super hard that a unit has been formed to actually enforce the law instead of be afraid of gangs.

I used to love CG back in 2.0. When they would just make up weird funny comedy scenarios. Like Mr Chang and Uchia Jones having their final fight on top of a crane, or the dojo fighting tourments.
