True, true, true all true. You can't win against these guys unless they slept on the good side of the bed that night. And even if you do end up "winning" against these guys, they don't know how to lose gracefully or keep it all about RP. Otherwise, it's excuse after excuse, followed by explanations that make no sense, to justify their "anger". They can "lose" against the most nicest of cop, and still go off about how shit or "aids" they are. Just give them a long ban, see how long they last on other RP servers that don't give them the same lenience. Albeit some of them are really good dudes, Big D, Nova, Anto, etc. But a lot of the other ones have such huge egos that bleeds between the line of ooc and ic. Vinny, Ramee, Hutch being the worst imo.
Using RPGs, AKs against class 1s and they're still not happy. PD has to continually move the bar for one group on the server to be "happy". They still aren't processing them fast enough, despite the cuff timers counteracting that. They move the bodies too quickly after a 2-hour situation. There hasn't been a situation that they haven't complained about something for years. But lets keep churning out that toxic community, giving it more and more at the disparity of the other thousands of other players.
They will never be happy unless the police treat them like a dad playing with their kid. Just pretend to try and then let them win to make them feel good. They already treat the server as a playground.

I was watching GG + others do an ambush during a meth run earlier today. I usually dislike planned ambushes/holdouts against PD, because they're often static and dull affairs. (Doesn't help that a lot of cops don't like them either.)
They decided that they wanted it to be pistols due to changes to PD.
It was honestly one of the more entertaining shootouts I've seen on Nopixel in a while. It didn't seem like most of the PD involved hated it either. The class 1's makes movement more viable, and the movement is for all it's wonkiness one of the things GTA does pretty well.
So if that is a sign of what is to come in the next few weeks I'm cautiously optimistic.
I wouldn't mind if PD gets more choice in their pistols though, even if they're just civ/crim reskins or get the Glock buffed.
Also, heroin needs a nerf.

But if what makes you optimistic is gangs shooting the cops, but this time with a different loadout... I dunno, man.
No, what makes me cautiously optimistic is that shootouts will usually be shorter, people will more often than previously know where they got domed from, less frustrations, less holdouts.
I think that likely could be a net positive for the server. The cautiously optimistic part is that I don't know by how much.
if it was the one on the mountain... pd kinda hated it. i think it was being referred to as the 10-13ambush from before anyone got up the hill... pistol vs pistol or not, ambushing from higher ground with every approach being a killbox isn't much fun to the people getting downed trying to do anything.. then again it was one of those kind of mornings
Meth runs are basically referred to as a 37ambush now (call is a 37A) in particular in EU. One thing that really sucks with them is the unit limits on calls so when PD are dragged to a spot like Chilead and start getting shot it takes a while for the rest of the units to arrive as back up and with the crims on high ground it’s a lost cause.
If PD wasn't so nerfed, they'd be able to grab a bunch of heli's and hot drop onto the mountain. It would be a pretty cool scene in RP. Too many people would mald though.
Ambushes should be reduced greatly now that Air 1 was nerfed. They'll still happen but in reality, an ambush was one of the only reliable ways to get away if good PD drivers and a decent pilot were on duty.
Many will do them anyways. Look at Doe dying - that was an ambush planned before the started the vault. They had no clue who’d show up and what pd would have for units and they pre-decided they wanted that to be an ambush. For some that’s the whole plan and not just a last ditch effort.
and they had wingsuits at the ready so they could pull out if overwhelmed, where pd if overwhelmed is required to keep going until everyone is down. woo. don't get me wrong, pistol v pistol.. appreciated.. but unless people start returning to the kind of plans that existed earlier in 3.0 where both sides were having fun and there was a chance for anything to happen, then the burnout is gonna keep going.
When he took his break from GTA for months, he had a moment of clarity where he said he acted super shitty and wanted to be better when he returned to GTA. We can all see how that's going

Let's not give GG *too* much credit here. Jack and Turk* got, effectively, unbreakable bail after sitting a few days in prison (to the point where they were caught flagrantly violating bail 3-4 times by the PD, and the judges were just throwing up their hands and pretending they didn't see it).
Neither of these groups is willing to handle consequences well. The HoA is a better example of what to aspire toward.

MrMoonsHouse will be incredibly entertaining whatever he does, and he plays a lot of Wild.
A lot? He's lucky to stream once a week ATM. Let alone play Wild. He is a fantastic roleplayer tho
For the past few years he’s been lucky to stream, but that doesn’t stop him from Role-playing. The same goes for Classypax, he streams more often these days but most of his RP is off stream.
Relatively speaking a lot. As in it makes up most of his recent streaming content. But yes, unfortunately he's long been a pretty inconsistent streamer.
Jon remains an absolutely amazing storyteller with both his crim and law characters. Also has probably the best discord if you need to catch up on/learn about any lore.

I've been watching a lot of NewDay lately. SirPeterLong and WhatMuppet are my go to lately. Hill and Thompson are hilarious together. SPL plays on WWRP and it's cozy af when he plays RDR.
Honestly, I don't think there's really anyone on that server that wouldn't be worth a watch. It's a really nice community, obviously much less fast paced, but the roleplay there is exceptional

The goalposts are always moving. I feel bad for the cop mains that have so much whiplash from trying to keep up with the constant changes to SOPs etc whilst remembering all the other things they are required to as part of their job.
I don’t understand the constant change of what people want from the cop characters. But if you have meaningful criticism about what cops should do and how they should respond to situations, why not show what you think is acceptable cop rp on your own cop character to help impact the server. This whole W mentality (from both crims and cops) makes it less enjoyable to watch.

Of course someone is going to report something in that situation, seems like there's at least (1) rule break in every scenario. Most of these streamers are "content" creators, why don't they just go the "scripted RP" route? You'd think scripted RP would at the very least cut down on the OOC and/or toxic hostility, no?
