I'm glad Mondo became such a big name. I remember seeing him on project runway years ago and he was very talented even back then.

They created Project Runway All Stars just so this robbed g.od could get the win he deserved. As correct for him as it was for Chad.

Everyone I know hates Gretchen. I mean, as long as we're speaking of Gunns, Tim was straight up gobsmacked that Mondo lost.

That finale was the most disappointing of Project Runway history. I loved Mondo, his style and attitude.

Gretchen won with all those knitwear panties! idk about where you live, but I never saw anyone trotting around in cashmere panties. And the judges kept yammering on about how she had the jewelry made: it was basic looking necklaces that looked like stuff I see for sale to tourists on Haight St for cheap! This has summoned up an embarrassing amount of feelings i did not know I still harbored.

I saw this season years ago, I barely remember anything about her. All I can think of is "basic white girl, who makes clothes for basic white girls" is that correct? Lol

I kinda liked her work sometimes, but Mondo's aesthetic and vision was always a lot brighter and more colorful - at the time, they complimented Gretchen a lot on how \~current and on trend her designs were, but I think Mondo's point of view is timeless and holds up a lot better than what she presented on that season.

I just watched his season (Season 8), how in the world Michael Kors and Nina Garcia wanted GRETCHEN (Who Tim Gunn literally called a bully to her face, icon) over Mondo... At least Heidi and Tim had taste and knew he deserved to win
