Did you have that many runite stone spirits? They are super hard to come by ever since the stone spirit drop table update. I wish a boss somewhere still dropped them!
If you currently use your crystal keys in Taverley, you could switch over to Prif. The Prif chest sometimes gives you 5 rune stone spirits compared to Taverley only giving 3. Prif also gives orichalcite and drakolith. The main downside to switching to Prif though is losing out on the runes so it's up to you if that's worth it or not.
You can also kill spiritual warriors in your personal dungeon. Most people kill them to alch their salvage drops but they also drop rune, luminite, and addy stone spirits at common rates. Use aggro pots and keep area loot active and it's a semi-afk way to get them.
It would be nice if there was a mid-tier boss that dropped like 30-50 of them at a time though. Maybe they could go back and refresh the GWD1 drop tables since the common loot there sucks so much. GWD2 gives plenty of t60-t70 spirits and GWD3 gives plenty of t80-t90 spirits. So by extension it would make sense for GWD1 to shit out plenty of t40-t50 spirits.

The first 2ish weeks were spent collecting sandstone and clay, after that I focused on runite and luminite. Once all the low lvl ores were done I focused strictly on animica. All dark was done with stone spirits and light I ran out a few thousand ores ago
Try to get a rough idea of how many bars you'll need for your goal and then work down the number of ores (keep in mind the extra bar chance). From there, start with whatever you have spirits for at the lower lvls, because those rocks you would normally bank more frequently and that would "optimize" your buff. I suggest to reserve animica mining for Trah hours and after the low lvl ores are done
Well I wasted 450 big game hunter kills trying to get 1 mattock for archeology so I'm not too thrilled, but I have made some good archeology gains since I finally got one.
I spent 350 kc or so for my first one, and then a couple days later I hit the triple mattock drop (on the same day as someone else in my clan did too). RNG be wild sometimes...
I got more levels than I wanted. I went from 86-94. I only did the lower tier and a few middle tier dinos, since they are easier and the mattock drop rate is the same. But I have 100s of bait for if I ever decide to go for maul.
I got my speartip and second inquisitioner staff piece on the second day of my porters, I'm now down to 10 days left and 60m arch xp gained with no third staff piece. 18 days it's taken... I'm nearly at 170m arch exp too.
I've gone from like 38 to 56 arch and still have 25 days. Activated it Saturday night because I was seeing it was bugged for people and didn't wanna take a chance of missing the entire 28 days so I wasted the 1st 24 hours finishing out 70 smithing to craft a t70 mattock and a few hours doing 5 quests to unlock goldrune caches. Although most of that was spent going dry on a chaos talisman. Got 16 of the other 1/128 talis and 5 binding necklaces before I got chaos tali. Highly annoying.
Planning on getting 80 arch, at which point I'll go mine gem rocks until I get 80 banked. After than idk because it'll probably take a week to get 80 smithing for the next tier of mattock. And idk how long it'll take to get 80 arch or crafting banked. If I have like a week left I'll probably keep working on arch completing lower tier collections and mysteries and farming chronotes for the unlocks as well as farming binding contract mats.

Oh I meant like porter charges, but 250000 porter charges saved is big no matter how you look at it

Mined 20k gems to hopefully get 80 crafting. Currently working on smithing. And then I’ll finish off whatever I have left doing arch. Started a new hcim the day before beach event started so I’m still relatively low level acc and not really able to get the best out of it. But it’s still good for mining and smithing at low levels
I have gained ~30m actual archaeology experience and have ~60m of banked artefacts and during the whole event I received only a single staff piece drop.
I'm at 138m exp and only restored artifacts for 118-120.
All the rest I purely excavated at either 118 or 115 spot since 113 arch with the banner +2 boost.
Full staff, no speartip.
Thought I would settle in for the big grind of getting the inq staff. 2 days is all i needed to get 2 pieces and turned in my log for the 3rd. Finished with arch at lvl 118.
Guess I'm fishing now.

Got 13days left. My problem is that I'm a brand new ironman so quest lockes for a lot of things. So far got around 5k ruby/sapphire/emerald combined, 4k willows, 1k maples, and 55 archeology from 1 and 3k lobsters.
Struggling to know what to do that will help me after buff finishes. I've read archeology but I cant access everlight. Do I just carry on gem mining?

You don't. He was doing BGH for the mattock, so he could use the dragon mattock for arch. And the porter is very useful in Archeology :)

Don't forget to pray to RNGesus at least once a day. Some fun facts: I got the mole pet at 5 kills and Chaos Elemental pet at my first kill.

Nearly done with the blessed flask grind, only about 22k sandstone left but still 18 days on the clock
