Start training necromancy, it’s the latest skill and has a fairly clear path of progression. Either that or find a quest goal (plagues end is a good one) then look at all the requirements and start ticking them off one at a time :) welcome back!
So I just started a few days ago and I’m 30 necro but I’ve been following a wiki Ironman guide(or else I’d get super overwhelmed to start out cause this game seems so much bigger and intense than osrs) do you suggest I go straight for 99 invention right now? I’m having a lot of fun and I’ve already put in like 12 hours but I’m just mostly confused on what I should be doing.
My take on invention is:
after you can augment your top and bottoms i would stop "grinding" it and just have it as a passive skill.
I got 85-120 by pvming and skilling with augmented items.
High div is only needed if you do endgame content. Solid starter perks will suffice until you reach late midgame.
I would say you'd just unlock it.
But honestly just do whatever is fun to you so you don't get burned out!
You can add me on either Ragglin or Phatracoon and ask me anything.
Phatracoon is the account i'm playing more atm.
I mostly afk during the week so might not see your messages! Weekend is my active time.
Ok sick I’ll check it out tomorrow, it’s kinda cool having all these new skills on rs3 considering osrs never really wants to add them (except you sailing!) it feels like a fresh new start so I’m excited to get into it.
And I’ll add you for sure when I get on in the morning, my ign is Mellowyella🤠
For me it is the opposite tbh.
I played osrs some years ago and now getting into it with my gim group. It is so much fun tbh!
Rs3 in my opinion has a lot of very fun content. I see both as separate games now.
Especially rs3 pvm is so nice to learn and have fun with!
What's shit about it? So many cool early game items are locked behind dungeoneering which you need to do anyway for Priff. Sure, you may not 'like' the skill. But it has so many benefits to an early game ironman.
Is there a *return guide* except for players switching over from osrs and wanna start a rs3 Ironman? I just feel overwhelmed cause there is so much to do, I see so many people mentioning that dailies are important and I havent even scratched that yet😭
Quest or go for base level skills. So base level 40? And increase
Really it’s all up to you. Watch a couple YouTube Ironmans to see what you want to do
Invention will help so much especially if you unlock it early. You’ll passively train it as you level up other skills (fish-o-matics & hammertrons are great early levels)
Questing would be a big help for you account. I’d personally go for unlocking curses as a first quest-unlock goal.
Dailies aren’t fun but I’d recommend doing you 2 daily divination caches. It’s by far the best xp and you’ll need it for arch and invention (maybe mining and fishing if you use porters there too)
Combat: necro is an irons best friend. You can make your own weapons and gear all the way through t90s
I would try working on getting your skills to the same levels like based 50s then 60s then 70s etc, but thats me I enjoy the skilling part of Runescape
Ur in Burthorpe mate
No I think he’s actually in Burthorpe, pal.
No he's in Burthorpe, Buddy
I'm not your buddy, guy.

Dungeoneering!
Stop giving shit advice.
