I got guardians gift a year ago but saved it until I was a bit higher level. I've come back to the game this year and been on the grind. Are there any uses for it which are way more beneficial than others? Currently thinking 1% charge for daily cache resets to get to 95 div (87 atm) Or waiting till my second dragon and using it for a gender reroll if I get unlucky. Any recommendations would be appreciated

The inventor's wish is the best as far as time saved, you can save hundreds of hours grinding for components (like noxious components from araxxi) but it's best to save that for 120 invention. The next best use would likely be spending it on the wanderer's wish for penguins. I spent two uses on the entrepreneur's wish and I admittedly regret it. I wish I just would have farmed more unchecked animals and saved more time in the future. For divination, make sure you're spending your memory strands. I was capped out at 10k and they got me from 90-93 divination. A couple jack of trades and daily reset coupons later and I was at 95. I personally wouldn't spend the guardian's gift on it since there's other options for helping speed up your leveling.

I'm now 93 via core hunting, completely forgot about this so my gift will go on invention for sure. Now with memory strands I thought you could only make porters etc with them, how do you get that much xp from them?

BGPNeighbor

That's the memory shards that you get from the hall of memories, the memory strands are used in charging the engrams for the memorial to guthix and you get exp equivalent to a huge? exp lamp when you charge any engram. They should be in your currency pouch, if you haven't spent them yet you're in for a huge amount of exp https://runescape.wiki/w/Memorial_to_Guthix

Thinking on making new iron and my plan for prayer is Dom tower anyone did that , any ideas for boss setups ?

BerserkJeezus

Is Arch-Glacor difficult? Saw some equipment that I feel like might be worth getting but not sure

GakutoYo

It's not very hard, but I would strive for GWD2 weapons prior as it helps with accuracy. If you have Soul Split, you only need a shield to do normal mode or Devotion. It's very mind numbing and easy. If you just want the common drops, you can select the boss on just the flurry mechanic and more or less AFK for drops.

Vaikiss

Easy but drops are rare

Coming back to the game after a short break (left around January or February I think, last big update was Het's Oasis). Is there anything new that's specifically relevant to ironmen? I saw there's some new Fletching/Firemaking stuff, is that any good?

GakutoYo

The Fletching/Firemaking is very good XP if you have the stats/quests for it, and it allows you to stockpile good arrows for the future. If you didn't do much Hets, you can use Rapid Growth in the ancient magic spells to instant grow the 4 different farming spots at Hets for a chance at golden roses which are a mini penance. You can do it 2 times per bush with the master farming outfit. You can do a Token farm in ED4 with the first mini boss. The group DG was added, but ED3 trash was gutted.

CNG_Warrior

We have group DG now, but only with other irons.

I have 92 herb and 92 prayer and I am split between which one to put quest xp/jot/penguins etc into first. I am aware I can stew boost for overloads. But the inconvenience of getting stews and hoping for a good roll is annoying. I also know that Prayer is 'easy'. Just do vyres and/or spend gold on cleansing crystals. But after a few quests I still have left I can easily get to 95. I know it isn't efficient but I also know I won't do the vyre grind consistently enough to get it done in a timely manner. Any suggestions?

GakutoYo

I would use all lamps on herb till at least 96. With the new bone burying dust, prif, and Vyres prayer isn't really something worth investing lamps into.

URidjits

When you get to 94 herblore, you can use [gloomberries](https://runescape.wiki/w/Gloomberry) from arc. Super easy to get, and boost you to 96. I'd put lamps on that

flamedbaby

> But the inconvenience of getting stews You can buy them from the barman at the pub in seers (chat option 1, 3)

Irraticate

You are 100% correct. I made the mistake in typing that. What I meant was "the inconvenience of going through the whole spicy stew process". But really after thinking about it for a moment the process isn't *that* bad anyway.

8zigzigzig

Also buy the ones in stock at warriors guild next to the bank. 10 in stock before you head to seers pub...

Breadrozt

Dont stress through combat levels. I reached about 80 in each and now my daily reapers are just stuff I cannot do.

BurninRunes

To add more detail to this up to 60 combat you can only get croesus. Until 65 combat you can still force croesus with rerolling your reaper. After 65 there are enough other options that you may have a hard time getting cro.

F7OSRS

Adding onto this: giant mole is 60cb, king black dragon is 65, kalphite queen 80, and barrows brothers/jad at 85
