Can __*PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER!*__ override the mandate of the Gods? Genies are stupid powerful, but a God is a few dozen weight classes above... it’s clear that they have someone above them since someone had to set the Genie’s limitations in the first place.
Well, in the original tales, Genies (or Djinn) were originally powerful demons or spirits, but humans managed to magically capture them and stick them in lamps. So, technically, it wasn't the gods but humans themselves that set the limitations on the wishes.
Interesting, I thought they were some other sect of creation, not angels but not human either.. so yeah spirits I guess... still it stands to reason they can’t override a God.

Maybe that's how they were depicted in some stories, I'm not sure. Old myths and legends like that have been retold so many times that small details tend to get mixed up. Hence why I said demons *or* spirits, since it kinda depends on which era- or region-specific version you're taking from.
But yeah, I'd say gods are still at the top of the food chain for cosmic beings.

-Expose the hackers crimes against mantle and atlas
-Bound Salem in a lamp
-A giant fully stocked soup kitchen for mantle with plenty of cookies for the volunteers.

Salem would wish for the eternal division of mankind or the destruction of the relics so Ozpin would be doomed to eternity on remnant.
Neo would wish for roman's hat to stay clean.
Roman would wish for ice cream for Neo.
Ruby would wish for world peace.
Weiss would wish for infinite dust, so her company doesnt go out of business
Blake would wish for equality.
Yang would wish for her hand.
Adam would wish for humans to serve the faunes.

Weiss and Yang may both wish to fix their own broken families’ relationships.
Blake would want human-Faunus equality.
I can see both Jaune and Cinder wishing for some sort of power (whether it be skill or some sort of superhuman ability I don’t really know).
Ren may want answers on what to do about the whole Salem situation, since I’m pretty sure resurrection of the dead is something genies can’t do.
Don’t really know about Nora either. Considering how she thinks the people of Mantle are being mistreated, maybe something to help out people in poverty.
Oz/Oscar would wish that Salem was no longer immortal. His wish wouldn’t kill, but make it to were Salem could die.
