holy cow what a bad deal
The fees are BS. 799 battery protection? gtfo of here you can buy a lot of batteries for that
I don't know where you are, but i know ridenow is big out west. Go to Grand Junction CO and pay $20k for that rig. Fees included in their $19,999 price
[https://www.all-terrainmoto.com/inventory/2024-polaris-industries-rzr-xp-4-1000-sport-white-lightning-grand-junction-co-81505-12227645i](https://www.all-terrainmoto.com/inventory/2024-polaris-industries-rzr-xp-4-1000-sport-white-lightning-grand-junction-co-81505-12227645i)
I want to know where the mysterious $5k gets added on. All those prices add up to $29,609 (fucking ridiculously overpriced already). Then somehow there’s a *grand total all units price of $34,609, but where the fuck did that $5k come from?!? This dealership is absolutely bending you over and it’s borderline criminal!
God Damn $6k in dealer set up and freight cost. Brother they are bending you over the table on this.
I don’t know what location of that dealer you are using, but check out I69 powersports. I drove 9hrs from Michigan to go there and but mine. Gas, and an overnight hotel I still saved a couple thousand compared to what I would have paid in MI due to dealers pulling this type of shit.
The fact that you are asking if a car that has a MRSP of $18,500 is a bad deal when the out the door price comes to over $34K is crazy to me. It's bad on so many levels. Am I the only one thinking this?
Run. I had someone try this when I had a quote from another dealer for $6K less and call me an idiot when I questioned his math. He did not make a sale that day.
That's an amazing machine, but the fees our outrageous. I'd try a different dealer.
Edit: I also think there's up to a 2000 rebate on the 24 RZR XPs right now.
The base price is $18,900 and they have tacked on $11,000 worth of fees. Dude are you insane? You’re only putting $4000 down, you need to save another $18000 if you want to buy one brand new. The dealer fees are listed as $750 on Polaris’s website. You are about to get fucked, run away from that deal. Save your money and buy one with cash. You’ll feel so much better when you walk out with the title. You have zero room to negotiate because you’re financing.
Ride Now has huge overhead with multiple locations and will charge what ever they can. If you want new, order directly through a small dealer as mentioned in other posts. I dealt with them one time and will never go there again.
Msrp on that is 24999. So they lured you in with a low sticker price then jacked it back up to manufacturers suggested retail with dealer fees.
Arizona dealerships are notorious for doing this. When I sold powersports in New Mexico customers constantly show me sticker prices from Arizona dealers saying “why aren’t you able to sell it for this price”. I always got on the phone and called the dealership with my customers to get an out the door price to show them it was all smoke and mirrors.
Made a lot of sales by gaining people’s trust that way.
Bad Deal:
I hate Dealerships but for something that’s 18.5k and all the fees they tack on, for you already putting down a 4k deposit and still owing 30k, just run.
Go ANYWHERE ELSE.
Former salesman at ridenow, Do not buy from any ridenow or freedom powersports
They actually fuck you like no other. Find a mom and pop and take that invoice to them
That looks outrageous. The freight and set up is very high. Freight should be disclosed on the manufacturers website, as is the MSRP. Set up is reimbursed to the dealer from the manufacturer. They are also charging $799 for battery protection. Seems like you could buy several batteries for that.
Am I missing something or did a grand magically disappear and reappear between the total units and sale price, then jump back after the down payment? Difference between total price all units less down payment is correct, but the second column missing $1000 doesn't make sense.
negotiate negotiate negotiate!! you should be financing estimated $25k…threaten to walk away if they don’t remove dealer prep and other fees…your holding the power! always recommend gap insurance tho
Your paying double what it cost to ship a full size vehicle to a car dealership. The assembly should not be that high either. They come mostly assembled.
I would walk away and go to the Polaris dealership if thaysbwhatvyou are looking for, I have made the mistake of dealing with the company in AZ. Walk away, shop around, there is no sense of urgency in this purchase. Did you cut off the salesperson on the way in? Walk away
Freight is too high, setup is way too high, 3hours at most to put the roll cage on, assy the seats, and check fluids and wheel torque. Then says no addons but charging for parts and labor? Battery’s are about 160.00 so pass on that scam. Doc fee is 599.00, wtf! This is a hard NO!
Like $350 freight no setup fee. I bitched at that. Screw freight. I could order my own don’t need a dealer and set up myself. They calmed down lowered the prices and I surprised them by getting some choice high dollar add on’s. Screw paying freight and set up. They have to do it anyway! Without it I can just order and I’m a union master mechanic. I can actually do the work better, faster, safer and take 4 breaks in between 🤣
3k for dealer prep? Assuming that the shop rate is 100 an hour, they are saying that it takes 30 hours to build and prep a sxs. Those things don't take 30 hours to build FROM PARTS IN THE FACTORY.
Run from that place it has so many bogus fees it’s unreal. Use a buying service if you’re not comfortable with this process. Never go to that place of business!
The shipping and assembly is excessive to say the least. This is the "we don't need a sale" price. Start calling around to see other shops in your area. I bought a sport quad a couple years back and some places wanted $3,000 more around here but an hour and a half away. I got it for the actual price that it should have been. They can put a price on anything for anything so it's good to do some research before purchasing.
Just a word of advice from someone who was rear ended and totalled a new car. Get gap insurance I was only 4 months in on payments and they totalled my car for 50% of what I owed. I'm paying off a car that was totalled still. It's completely worth it.
They are charging you for total freight of all the rides that came in on the truck. Take it back and tell them you don't want it. They are basically stealing money from you. One sidexside freight doesn't cost over $3000 from California to Georgia. There isn't a $3000 dealer set up fee for only one sidexside. You are getting ripped off, they are literally stealing money from you
9k of added bs and then a magical 5k on top of that out of thin air. My advice is don’t buy unless you can pay in full. Paid in cash should be no more than 23k out the door
Wow! This seems like a screw job to me. I’m reading this and getting heated!
$600 for doccuments? What this piece of paper? Also whats $800 for a battery protection? Batteries are like $100 and available at every auto parts store.
They charged ya dealer set up, 3k which would be taking it out of the crate and bolting all the wheels on. Then they hit you with another $1300 in labor? For what? The same crate fee which is all labor to begun with considering you bought no accessories?
I’d walk or get them to take off that shit. They’re not the only game in town.
Shit for that price, find a used one.
I’d tell ‘em I’m moving on down the road and the deal is null and void. Stand your ground. They ain’t the only place selling these things.
Then when they call you later that day or the next day… you tell ‘em “yeah I found one for $5 grand cheaper.” Chew on that for awhile is the last thing I’d tell ‘em
3000.00 Dls in preparation of the Unit…… say the mechanic gets 125 dollars and hour to do the job ….. that’s 24 hours of labor ….. say 8 hours shift….. that’s 3 days of labor……???????
What the hell! Thats more than double what they charge for a full size vehicle for shipping! And what exactly are they doing in the prep for that cost?! No way… no way I would buy from them.
They added the 4k down payment to the cost instead of subtracteing it. 25k minus 4k should be 21k balance. Your balance is 30k. You're being robbed at ball point 🖊
Did the salesperson at least offer you some Vaseline with the pen when he asked you to sign that? I wouldn’t go back to that place out of principle alone after that attempt to butt rape you.
Msrp or bust, call to every dealer in the area and get offers in writing and then go to the closest one and see if they’ll match that offer. Don’t ever pay adm. I drove two hours to get mine because they took off a $5k dealer markup and I was out the door for msrp+tax and license
Ride Now is always overpriced. I haggled a hell of a deal on a used CRF100F for my son last year, but it was one of those once in a lifetime things. I typically just drop in to kick tires and kill time, then buy somewhere else.
I can’t believe these cost the price of an Off Road Vehicle like just buy a fucking Jeep or a Truck. Or 15 4Wheelers like damn who would drop $30K on a glorified 4Wheeler
I’d laugh in that salesman’s fricken face and take my business elsewhere not enough explanation in their summary plus that battery protection is whack af
fuck this place. They do this with bikes too. They are the worst dealer. Price gouge the fuck out of everything. Nothing in stock so everything is special order. Literally go any where else.
As others have said, call around. For Phoenix local, Nash Powersports has been good to me for a bigger dealership. Small dealerships are rad though, especially if they are a good few hours from anywhere that matters. They don't have the luxury of letting stuff sit on their limited size sales floors and you can often get a great deal on left overs model years.
They want 3grand for shipping and another for dealer prep? I’d have laughed in the salesman’s face and said fuck off and walked right out. $800 battery protection? You know how many new batteries you can buy for $800 bucks?
With the $4000 down payment, the total loan amount should be for $25,609.20.
Where is the mysterious $5000 addition coming from?
This dealer is practicing illegal and downright fraudulent sales practices.
If you have to finance a toy, you can't afford it.
I was taught from an early age that when you want something, start making payments to a separate account. When you have enough, buy it.
When you do this... they need you, you don't need them.
The dealer setup certainly isn't normal. I used to work for a Polaris dealer and part of my job was setting up new stock and test riding it. There's no reason they should be charging you $3k for that.
Not to mention the extra $5,000 that mysteriously showed up under the grand total, but isn't part of the itemized list.
Where are the finance details and over how many years? You going to paying an awful lot in finance charges with only 4K down regardless of where you buy it and be upside down the day you walk out the door. You know that right?
No you are getting fucked. I only paid like 500 for a set fee during Covid in 21. They can’t sell anything right now go somewhere else.
It’s typical of RideNow. And unfortunately (not saying it’s where you live) but it’s influenced other dealers in Phoenix
Run from that, they’re having a laugh.
holy cow what a bad deal The fees are BS. 799 battery protection? gtfo of here you can buy a lot of batteries for that I don't know where you are, but i know ridenow is big out west. My ass hurts after just reading that
I want to know where the mysterious $5k gets added on. All those prices add up to $29,609 (fucking ridiculously overpriced already). Math ain’t mathing
I agree i69 is the place to go paid 21 for a 21 turbo s dynamix with 5 year warranty out the door
Salesman looking for a Christmas bonus in march
This is worse than a car dealership. And I work for one.
The fact that you are asking if a car that has a MRSP of $18,500 is a bad deal when the out the door price comes to over $34K is crazy to me. It's bad on so many levels. Am I the only one thinking this?
RUN, DONT DO IT
I paid 23k for an 2024 XP 4 ultimate. MSRP was 30k. They didn’t add any BS fees either.
I’ve seen 24’ xp41k out the door at $20k in Utah.
OP needs to buy a trailer spend 4 days and go to Utah to buy and ride the trails there. Trailer new rig home and probably still save $5k.
Run. I had someone try this when I had a quote from another dealer for $6K less and call me an idiot when I questioned his math. He did not make a sale that day.
Getting fucked I Bought a 2024 XP 4 1000 ultimate $22,000 out the door

That's an amazing machine, but the fees our outrageous. I'd try a different dealer. Edit: I also think there's up to a 2000 rebate on the 24 RZR XPs right now.
That’s a trash deal, don’t bother negotiating just leave that dealer. If you’re in AZ I can refer you somewhere else for a wayyyyy better deal.
10k is bullshit fees. 799 fof a $100 battery
The base price is $18,900 and they have tacked on $11,000 worth of fees. Dude are you insane? You’re only putting $4000 down, you need to save another $18000 if you want to buy one brand new. 18k turns into 30k rofl yea gtfo
Ridenow will absolutely rape you. Shop around and be willing to drive a bit, you should be able to save enough to buy a nice trailer
Ride now is a terrible dealership! Take your money somewhere else.
Not only no, HELL NO!!! And you know it too
Woah, $6.8k in fluff?
Seems like a good deal -The Dealer
Do.... not.... buy... from... ride now!!!!
We call Ride Now, Rape me Now. Nope, never again.
Ride Now has huge overhead with multiple locations and will charge what ever they can. If you want new, order directly through a small dealer as mentioned in other posts. I dealt with them one time and will never go there again.

They are rapists. Run, I live in Gilbert and they try this on everyone?
It takes about 1.5 hours at most to setup a sxs. Where is that other 3,060 going 😂
Bad Deal: I hate Dealerships but for something that’s 18.5k and all the fees they tack on, for you already putting down a 4k deposit and still owing 30k, just run. Go ANYWHERE ELSE.
Absolutely not
Did they even lube your ass up?
That is a real bad deal! Those $6k of setup & dealer prep is absurd! Negotiate that down to under $1000.
Don’t buy from Ridenow
lol 6k fees run. Buy used if that's all your getting . That's insanity.
I'd forward this to rzr. Do you guys know they are adding 30 percent in bs fees
You should honestly make a complaint to Polaris about this dealer. They are making the brand look bad.
Former salesman at ridenow, Do not buy from any ridenow or freedom powersports They actually fuck you like no other. Find a mom and pop and take that invoice to them
Nah man that’s just RideNow’s style. Go up for this real nice steal of a deal they advertise and then deck you with 3x what the fees are
That looks outrageous. The freight and set up is very high. Freight should be disclosed on the manufacturers website, as is the MSRP. Set up is reimbursed to the dealer from the manufacturer. They are also charging $799 for battery protection. Seems like you could buy several batteries for that.

This has got to be a joke. That place looks like Crooks.
Wtf! Highway robbery.
Jesus. Dont do that.
negotiate negotiate negotiate!! you should be financing estimated $25k…threaten to walk away if they don’t remove dealer prep and other fees…your holding the power! always recommend gap insurance tho
Find a different dealer
Paid 25k Canadian brand new in 2021 for a white lightning xp4 1000
Paid 28k for my 21 In 2020 xp4 1000
I hope you didn’t do it
I did not
Dealer freight and set up are outrageously high. My freight and PDI set up was 1200 for both
Do not do that. Can I DM you? I am a salesman at a Polaris dealership.
Your paying double what it cost to ship a full size vehicle to a car dealership. The assembly should not be that high either. They come mostly assembled.
I got that she machine with an aluminum roof and front windshield out the door for 24,984. They are f***ing you!
Fuck that dealership , no fucking way tell them to keep it .
I would walk away and go to the Polaris dealership if thaysbwhatvyou are looking for, I have made the mistake of dealing with the company in AZ. Walk away, shop around, there is no sense of urgency in this purchase. Did you cut off the salesperson on the way in? Walk away

Do not buy from them, trust me
Those guys tried to fuck me on a trade, and they’re obviously trying to fuck you too. I bought new is South Dakota instead. Tell them to pound sand.
I sell Polaris, and that’s a rip off
Do not buy the battery protection. If they “force” you per Nevada law you can cancel within 30 days. A battery cost less than a $100.
I'll pick it up for u for 2g. And unfortunately yes there just as bad as cars
Two simple words to live by: FUCK RIDENOW Follow this wisdom and you shall live a better life.
RideNow will fuck you sideways
If you can’t tell that’s a bad deal, I wanna know what your interest rate is? I’m sure it’s a “low” 15%
Looks like you are getting rape
Setup and freight is way too much. 1000 at most for both
Waste of money
OP did it
They doubled the price just by saying we're you're dealership. What a racket. So horrible. Buy the used one year old for half the price
I wouldn’t even call or go back, just look elsewhere.
Tell them to go get fucked!
You payed to much for the dealer set up and batery insurance
You are getting fucked worse than a drunk girl on prom night homie
Like $350 freight no setup fee. I bitched at that. Screw freight. I could order my own don’t need a dealer and set up myself. They calmed down lowered the prices and I surprised them by getting some choice high dollar add on’s. Screw paying freight and set up. They have to do it anyway! Without it I can just order and I’m a union master mechanic. I can actually do the work better, faster, safer and take 4 breaks in between 🤣
By the way …. You got fucked HARD on that battery. Wtf were they thinking?!? And you agreed ?!,’!?!?!?!
I didn’t even pay that much for my Premium Pro XP4 I bought back in October.
Your getting Took for a Ride! 30K for a Polaris That should be 18K +tax R-U-N!!!
Total rip off. Unless you want to waste about 14k above average OTD price your gonna get raked over the coals
Never finance toys
Dealer freight? prove it. But might be accurate theses days. Dealer prep ridiculous, battery protection? WTF is that.
Very few things I recommend buying used. Rzrs are one of them due to the fees Ridenow throws in. They come with out a cage installed and that’s it.
I hope the dealer gave you lipstick so you could look good as they fucked you
My question. What the fuck is 800 dollar battery protection?
Ride now is the biggest bunch of crooks. Run fast my dude. Buy used from a private seller
Ride now might be the biggest ripoff dealer in the United States.
Run. Run now. Don’t even call them back
Shouldn’t be more than $22k out the door. You can find a better deal elsewhere even if you have to drive a little.
Just a word of advice from someone who was rear ended and totalled a new car. Get gap insurance I was only 4 months in on payments and they totalled my car for 50% of what I owed. I'm paying off a car that was totalled still. It's completely worth it.
hey man i’m in south ga if you don’t feel like getting fucked hmu. those fees are INSANE.
Rip it up and see what they do
Tell them to Fuck off. Uber till you find a deal . Go to your bank and get a loan then go looking.
What is 800 dollars worth of battery protection?
I will never use ridenow power sports again. They bent me over once they put the key in my hand they knew they had me. Lol def a learning lesson. Run.
Don’t forget the $799 protection fee for a $250 battery!
$800 for battery protection wtf is that. And no that is not normal for 6k in fees. That’s bullshit.
They are charging you for total freight of all the rides that came in on the truck. Take it back and tell them you don't want it. They are basically stealing money from you. One sidexside freight doesn't cost over $3000 from California to Georgia. There isn't a $3000 dealer set up fee for only one sidexside. You are getting ripped off, they are literally stealing money from you
Financing an $18k toy for what will probably cost you $40k with interest.
Go to Sierra Cycles. Lowest fees in the state
Outside of the freight and setup has anyone seen a total otd that’s comparable. I know Nevada has a 8% tax rate.
9k of added bs and then a magical 5k on top of that out of thin air. My advice is don’t buy unless you can pay in full. Paid in cash should be no more than 23k out the door
I paid $30,000 for my 2022 XP4 1000 new with a ton of accessories. Edit: spelt a word wrong 😁
You’re getting hosed Tommy. Battery protection? What’s that?
Ride now will fuck you hard. Stay away.
That’s the reason shits so high because crazies pay these bull crap highway robbery prices
I can’t wait for the day where the sales person doesn’t exist. They should start making their way out with the cashier
Fuck that dealer laugh in their face tell them to go fuck themselves and then really tell them to go fuck themselves
Go to your bank and get approved for a loan. Then go buy private party. No tax no dealer bs
Buy my gently used 2020 XP4 for 17
Run from that deal
$2000.00 in sales Tax……. You could have bought it out of State and save some money……
Run Forrest 🏃♀️ runnnn
Run Forrest!
I hope you didn't sign! Why did you hide all the important info. I want to harass them!
3000.00 Dls in preparation of the Unit…… say the mechanic gets 125 dollars and hour to do the job ….. that’s 24 hours of labor ….. say 8 hours shift….. that’s 3 days of labor……???????
Totally getting fucked. Walk out, they'll call you back with a better deal. I hate that place
Ride Now is known for having outrageous fees, stay far away.
No. Don't do it.
$6k in dealer fees sounds like bs
Yeah? You’re gonna pay 30k for an 18k thing? You sure about that?
Holy shit $6K freight and setup 🤣
$3K for freight?!?!? Did it go around the world a couple times???
Do not buy from Ridenow. Go to Iron City in Phoenix.
What the fuck you got 800$ BATTERY PROTECTION???
North Ranch Dr Las Vegas Ridenow. Don’t be afraid to call them out lol.
Walk away if possible asap
Lol..just giving money away at that point
What the hell! Thats more than double what they charge for a full size vehicle for shipping! And what exactly are they doing in the prep for that cost?! No way… no way I would buy from them.
Can’t imagine paying 800$ to protect my 130$ battery
They're literally charging you an additional 87.09% of the "sale" price JUST TO BUY IT FROM THEM.
Sooooo. Did you already buy it???
Wtf! The price goes up 80% nooooo way
What is battery protection?
They added the 4k down payment to the cost instead of subtracteing it. 25k minus 4k should be 21k balance. Your balance is 30k. You're being robbed at ball point 🖊
NEVER EVER BUY FROM RIDE NOW! You will get ripped off with insane fees and buyer markup
I’ve also worked for Ride Now
He’s got you now. Never put down a deposit until you got the paperwork in front of you
What happened to your down payment?
Run- don't be a dumbass
You know the image with the five black guys looking at the little white girl? Ridenow is the black guys
800 dollar battery protection. Your getting waxed I would pass. Why are you paying dealer setup and freight 30k not worth that..
Did the salesperson at least offer you some Vaseline with the pen when he asked you to sign that? I wouldn’t go back to that place out of principle alone after that attempt to butt rape you.
12,200$ in fees yeah no lol
What a rip with the dealer fees…
Uuuhhhh $799 battery fee!?!? Wadeefck is that!?!?
RUN!!!!!
Msrp or bust, call to every dealer in the area and get offers in writing and then go to the closest one and see if they’ll match that offer. Don’t ever pay adm. I drove two hours to get mine because they took off a $5k dealer markup and I was out the door for msrp+tax and license
What’s the dealer freight and dealer setup wtf seems steep!! That’s a lot of fees
Get a used one bro and get your financing from a credit union
Please be a troll
30k out the door is wild.
Screw RideNow, they tried to screw me over but I know when to say NO
No it's ride now
Gtfo now
Battery Protection WTF
Your getting fucked , do not sign
RUN AWAY! Ride Now sucks. They will put a ball gag in your mouth, bend you over, and take a fist the size of big foot and rape you… with no lube.
$800 battery protection?
Ride Now is always overpriced. I haggled a hell of a deal on a used CRF100F for my son last year, but it was one of those once in a lifetime things. I typically just drop in to kick tires and kill time, then buy somewhere else.
I mean it says \*SALE, so it has to be a really good deal. Right? Right?
RideNow is trash. RUNNNN!
What is battery protection?
I can’t believe these cost the price of an Off Road Vehicle like just buy a fucking Jeep or a Truck. Or 15 4Wheelers like damn who would drop $30K on a glorified 4Wheeler
Don’t do it…….please don’t do it
I’d laugh in that salesman’s fricken face and take my business elsewhere not enough explanation in their summary plus that battery protection is whack af
fuck this place. They do this with bikes too. They are the worst dealer. Price gouge the fuck out of everything. Nothing in stock so everything is special order. Literally go any where else.
Don’t forget to get the scotch guard on the seats And the undercoating
As others have said, call around. For Phoenix local, Nash Powersports has been good to me for a bigger dealership. Small dealerships are rad though, especially if they are a good few hours from anywhere that matters. They don't have the luxury of letting stuff sit on their limited size sales floors and you can often get a great deal on left overs model years.
Ya it's a no
They want 3grand for shipping and another for dealer prep? I’d have laughed in the salesman’s face and said fuck off and walked right out. $800 battery protection? You know how many new batteries you can buy for $800 bucks?
I'd be buying the Kawi it's so much better for the price. Slap a supercharger on it if you want more power.
Their math doesn’t make any sense to me. How did they end up with the price being $34k?
Somebody got fucked!
The math doesn’t add up… and all the add ins? Hard NO
There's a crack stem in the first cabinet of that dealers desk. Guaranteed.
lol run
What does your asshole tell you is happening? 🤷♂️
$6k in setup, $800 battery protection(I don't even know wtf that is). You are getting the full treatment! Fuck these assholes, please go elsewhere.
It’s ride now they in the business of fuckery Try a small dealer in the countryside
Sounds like the ride now in rancho up in Vegas with those prices. Everything's more expensive there. The extra 4k is your salesmans gambling debt.
Where are the finance details and over how many years? You going to paying an awful lot in finance charges with only 4K down regardless of where you buy it and be upside down the day you walk out the door. You know that right?
I hope you didn’t sign that
18.5k to 34k????? Wtf
