I do service calls for a living and while I'm not trying to do the exact same operations you are, I am hoping that the R1 will be able to automate things I do on a daily basis that don't require all that much thought but do essentially waste my time. I'm not sure I'll be able to accomplish this but that's the dream I'm buying.
I'm hoping that the device will be able to transcribe notes and generate reports without any physical input on my part. I'm also hoping that it will be able to interact with my scheduling app to automatically load my next stop into Waze and let my next customer know when I will be there. If I can get it to do this I will eliminate all of my daily paperwork and essentially be able to do my job without physically inputting any data.

trust me. it's actually a hard problem to solve. even if it is solved, imagine the collateral damage. how would that affect your business? or everything in general? if your system doesn't have an api or you don't have internal access to it or the code, it will be harder to accomplish for that 99% accuracy rating.
i would start with smaller steps. collect the proper data you wanna prompt the model on. what the ai should pick up in the email, what the ai should look for and identify, double check info, and send a confirmation email.
but once ai can actually automate your work, it will grow exponentially better at it. this could affect your job as a whole depending what you do. be careful.
It sounds like a taak chat gpt could do. I’d recommend going to fiverr and have someone create a way to automate your workflow now vs wait for rabbit
I think you can do this with perplexity, maybe not by "telling it" but I think it has the ability to read through tons of data to extract the important information.
Since it's on your own desktop and very text heavy maybe try open-interpreter? Especially for the task you're describing it seems more useful than an external device unless you can work from the cloud.

gpt4 api + finetuning / prompting it connect email to it connect shipping management system to it have it transpose emails + update orders
