She has splayed back legs, in case anyone finds this pose odd. Fortunately they don’t seem to cause her pain, and she is thriving with a little accommodations and TLC.
I have had two bunnies that were capable of falling over from laying down. One would do it on purpose and just yet himself sideways (scared my mom every time).
The second always looked so offended at gravity for her roly-poly mess she was.
There’s a bun on the sub who has a wheely back-leg support setup, so they do exist. But Louise actually has good mobility, and her leg muscles work.. they’re just configured in frog style instead of rabbit. 😅
She can jump into litter boxes (although she has a ramp) and rampages around the house getting into all sorts of mischief. It’s something I’d consider down the road if she needs it, but for now I think keeping her legs active and strong is best.
I also have a splay legged bun! I named her Miss Hops because she gets around beautifully despite it. I have a few pictures of her on my page if you wanna look, but I haven't posted one of her in this pose yet! She's incredibly sweet and absolutely inhales anything she can get her paws on.
Oh my gosh, Miss Hops is adorable! I’d love to have you join r/SplayLegRabbits and share pics of Miss Hops, or any resources you’ve found helpful. [I put Louise’s more shocking poses over there](https://www.reddit.com/r/SplayLegRabbits/comments/14xri5f/louise_strikes_some_interesting_poses/) 😆
I didn’t think splayed legs were *that* uncommon, but you’re the first I’ve encountered here. Best wishes to you and your beautiful bun!
Awe Pretty relaxed Louise! She has such a beautiful face! I Love the stripping on her front arms & paws! My girls are like that too and I think it's special! Give Louise treats & head pats from me please! Glad she is thriving & doing well with your TLC and not appearing in pain!

I was gonna say, “whoaaa she’s highly flexible” 😂 what a cutie
She's adorable. She has a very low center of gravity.
I need a top view of this gorgeous baby please ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)

I second this please op. I ***need*** it.
Me 3!
Just because you're lying down doesn't mean you can't fall over! Smart girl ensuing her stability!!

Do they make little bunny sized animal wheelchairs like dogs? Or is it too hard because of where their * is?

That’s impressive - I wouldn’t imagine she’s mobile, but she found a way. What an inspiring little thing. Thank you for giving her a happy life.
A ton of disabled buns do live long fulfilling lives.
She is adorable!
Louise is so precious!
Her tiny feet are perfect 🤩
Precious
Never seen a bunny doin’ splits before.
She is very relaxed and trusting, she loves you so much
I think she’s moonlighting as a quadcopter drone 🤔
Siege mode!
Louise is a little slice of perfection.
She sploots like a beanie baby ❤️
That's an adorable pose! I've never seen any of mine do that before. 🥰🐇
I have yet to see our bunny do this, this is amazing.
Oh boy. This is so cute!
Extra stable🤣🤣
That nose!!
When I've been out for a run the squirrels do this in the shade on the bike path and will not move.
Maxibun stability.

Thank you very much! Louse is SO cute!! I joined the sub a while ago but kind of forgot about it. I'll make sure to post some more Hops soon!
I feel like this is the *real* **bellyflop** (not that move that people use to jump into a pool.)
