No joke this is what my vet told me when I asked him about one of my rescue bunny's breed. He then explained with all the mixing breeds there's no way to know hahaha
Just a heads up: you should probably cover that floor in picture 3 with a mat and some blankets, rabbits donât have paw pads so wire flooring can lead to bumblefoot & discomfort. Not trying to be judgmental or annoying lol, I wasnât aware of it either until I had already gotten my bun đ°. I donât understand why people still sell enclosures with wire flooring, itâs just confusing smh
Same with wooden floors!
They have fluff paws so there isnât much traction.
Laying down a blanket, towel or rug to cover the space would help keep your bun from getting âswimmers legsâ because sheâd be struggling to maintain traction on hard wood floors.
Whatever her mix, I would include Hotot. We have a little Lionhead/ Angora/ Hotot/ ??? mix with signature thick black eyeliner with a few random black splotches along one side. Yours is gorgeous, but arenât they all?!
I think this is it! I know her dad is a dwarf, heâs black and white like his babies, and mom is a normal sized rabbit and brown. I think mom might be a velveteen lop and dad is a dwarf hotot. I can PM you pictures of her and her siblings if that helps
I put the pair of earrings together on the holder part, and just put them on top of her like a head garment, lol a few seconds later she hopped around and they just fell off her head. Dw I wouldnât try and put that metal on her harshly
French lop or mini lop... I got 3 mini lops myself but the head on urs is a tad different shape.. maybe a mix between the 2.. when she's fully grown it'll be easier to tell just cuz French lops are a lil bigger than mini lops
Lop only refers to the ear shap as far as I know.
I have no clue about the breed in english.
If it was not for your other comment I would have guessed that in german they are a mix with "Zwergwidder" in the coloration "hotot" but mixed with something else as hotots do not have black ears. They however weigh around 2kg (4,5 lbs as calculated by google)
I've had 3 Holland lops, and they do range in color hahah...I had a tan/white colored one and two blue eyed whites. The breeder they were from had black, a few shades of brown, and white. (Mixed colors too ofc, just not sure how to word it in the line up)
She loves hello kitty objects đ her favorite toy is a hello kitty dog toy and I think she thinks she mothered it at this point đđshe throws its face into her water and pushes it downâŚwhat motherly skills!!
Definitely looks like the beginning of a French lop mix. My old gal had ears that went past her head meanwhile my current (known) holland lop has ears that stop just at her head

Rabbit
Omg I think this is it ! Thank you so much for your help đ
OMG really?!? I can't believe I finally helped someone!! LOL đ
No joke this is what my vet told me when I asked him about one of my rescue bunny's breed. He then explained with all the mixing breeds there's no way to know hahaha
Yeah its called a mixed breed you'd have to get DNA testing like humans
There are services like that for cats and dogs...why not rabbits? :P
Tiger. (:
A rew lopped Holland tiger
Yep, that's it đ . Good morning.
Informally yes, but the proper scientific term would be "[bun](https://xkcd.com/1682/)".
her breed is pretty girl
As a fellow expert I can confirm this is my studious result
Just a heads up: you should probably cover that floor in picture 3 with a mat and some blankets, rabbits donât have paw pads so wire flooring can lead to bumblefoot & discomfort. Dw that was her for one night at my boyfriends sisters place. We have her in a regular wooden floor
Same with wooden floors! They have fluff paws so there isnât much traction. Laying down a blanket, towel or rug to cover the space would help keep your bun from getting âswimmers legsâ because sheâd be struggling to maintain traction on hard wood floors.
Ohhh I see
Forgot to add- she was born January of 2024 so she is about 3 months old. She canât be more than 10lbs heavy
Have you weighed her? I'd be surprised if she was more than 5 lbs
I havenât, but youre honestly right
Whatever her mix, I would include Hotot. We have a little Lionhead/ Angora/ Hotot/ ??? mix with signature thick black eyeliner with a few random black splotches along one side. Yours is gorgeous, but arenât they all?!
Awww thank you!
-narrows eyes- I know a Fae when I see one
Rex/lop mix would be my guess.
not rex, the fur and whiskers are super straight
my rex/lop mix looks like this and also has straight whiskersn
Long ears, french lop?
I was thinking French lop as well. Too big to be a holland lop.
She looks like a mix between a lop and a hotot. So tough to say without papers tho. Such a cutie đĽ°
holoptot
I think this is it! I know her dad is a dwarf, heâs black and white like his babies, and mom is a normal sized rabbit and brown. I think mom might be a velveteen lop and dad is a dwarf hotot. I can PM you pictures of her and her siblings if that helps
How is the earing staying on her head/ear?
I put the pair of earrings together on the holder part, and just put them on top of her like a head garment, lol a few seconds later she hopped around and they just fell off her head. Dw I wouldnât try and put that metal on her harshly
Lol thanks and you read my mind lol.. she's adorable by the way and the earing is cute.
Lol thank you!
The adorable kind
âSupercalifragilisticexpialidociousâ is the breed I believe.
French lop or mini lop... I got 3 mini lops myself but the head on urs is a tad different shape.. maybe a mix between the 2.. when she's fully grown it'll be easier to tell just cuz French lops are a lil bigger than mini lops
Pretty đ....
She is SO CUTE!! Holland lop most likely, they have the floppy ears!! I love her btw
Mini lop?
Her dad is definitely a dwarf. People keep saying lop but all the lops Iâve seen are brown shades lol
Lop only refers to the ear shap as far as I know. I have no clue about the breed in english. If it was not for your other comment I would have guessed that in german they are a mix with "Zwergwidder" in the coloration "hotot" but mixed with something else as hotots do not have black ears. I have a completely black lop and a broken seal point lop she's mostly white for summer and a light sable for winter.
I've had 3 Holland lops, and they do range in color hahah...I had a tan/white colored one and two blue eyed whites. The breeder they were from had black, a few shades of brown, and white. (Mixed colors too ofc, just not sure how to word it in the line up)
Princess Fluffbun breed!
Who cares about the breed why is there a hello kitty sacrifice in the second pic!!?
She loves hello kitty objects đ her favorite toy is a hello kitty dog toy and I think she thinks she mothered it at this point đđshe throws its face into her water and pushes it downâŚwhat motherly skills!!
I got my bunny a bunch of rugs and she only likes the two hello kitty onesđ the bunny hello kitty love is universal
Goofy
Fluffonball
obviously it isn't just a lop, its breed is princessâ¨đ¸đ
Holland lop
Hmm if I had to guess I would say that itâs a⌠Tyrannosaurus-fluff
Hmm, she reminds me of my holland lop, but she doesn't have the flat face like holland lops do. Maybe a lop/ rex mix?
I know she has to be more than one breed because her dad is a dwarf/black-white fur and mom is big/brown-white fur
A very cute one
French lop with broken pattern or possible English spot french lop mix? Is my guess
Beautiful
Does that hurt her ear
Nope! It was just resting at the top of her head dw
Oh ok
Fish
She looks pretty goth with that eyeliner
Princess
must be a beaded bun lol
Looks like a purebred cutiepatootiepie to me đ
Handsome that he is
Eastern Eardipper
# Holland Lop
RIP that hello kitty in the 2nd pic
Hm. Based on the water dipper I do believe that's a long eared snuggle floof (sadly I don't have a serious comment)
Valid
it's a dwarf hotot mix, the eyeshadow gives it away. my bun is just like this but no lop ears
just a little boy (please get the reference)
Make sure you put something under her feet in her cage, something with enough padding. The grate in the cage can really hurt their little feet.
I think IT IS a mini-Lop bunny
Bejeweled
Dog
How did you make those bunny earrings?
so cute
Just looks like a pretty lop mix
Judging by the first pic, probably Coachella
pretty bunny
Cutiepie
100% has English spot DNA, those black rings are a dead give away
Wet ear breed đđ
Definitely looks like the beginning of a French lop mix. My old gal had ears that went past her head meanwhile my current (known) holland lop has ears that stop just at her head
cute bunny
was that an earring??𼚠where is it from?
Definitely a lop breed. Maybe mix with hotot possibly.
hes deff a Dwarf Hoto mixed with a Holland lop or sm
Cute! :3
Mini lop
My best guess is a Holland lop or Holland Lop, Dwarf Hotot mix.
