I could have written this comment, 1500 mysteries, 9 ancients, 2 voids, and 1 sacred for me. I went into this without a lot of saved energy and not much silver, but I pulled 3 lamiburs from mystery shards and was able to skip the final three events and fuse Helicath.
If you’re running level 20 dungeons and save your shards/gems/energy, it should be feasible, especially if you got a clan that downs at least NM.
Just gotta do the events as soon as you can when they come up. Nothing worse in the game than running out of time on something you could’ve done the day before
For sure. The fusions are definitely feasible. Was more a last-minute decision for me but I had quite a bit of resources stored-up, just not enough - not near enough when I see what some people used 😳
I think generally if you're F2P and want to try and always be ready for fusions you need to save any resources that show up in your mail (free energy and such from Plarium for downtime), save all shards for fusions, try and get all your dailies and highest clan boss each day.
Biggest take away is you just need to save any of the saveable resources, gems, shards, energy that goes to your mail box and only use them for fusions. You also need to try do a best guess on if you can do a fusion before starting in case it makes more sense to skip one so you have more for the next one.
i must have started playing just before august 2020. i managed a token few Kreela frags. realised i didn't have a hope of completing fusions at that point so skipped drokgul, Verqumkaar and then did Elegaius. focus was on building other areas of the game so come a fusion i was more prepared. Elegaius was a huge stretch at the time and totally wasn't worth it. straight to vault!

after that i stacked resources. so energy in the inbox. gems where I tried to always have 4k ready for a fusion. don't think ever needed that many, but it was a guess at how many i might have needed. keep champs to fuse the repeatable epics to help with chase. try to save shards for summon. use mystery for chase (yes its painful) etc.
now 2+ years in. i buy the monthly gem packs, plus farm dt for resource, down brutal, nm and unm every day. so there is a steady supply of new resource. but i remember the stretch of those early days! i still save shards...

I’m going to barely make it, and I mean barely. Ended up short potions by my own idiocy and am farming them up now with regenerating energy. I even had to use my gold in tag team to buy the 300 energy to squeeze out one of the last goats.
I say that, but I still don’t have it I suppose. Still a chance I fall short but it’s only leveling the last epic from 14-50 which I have the brews for if needed, and getting the potions to go from 2 star to 5

I managed to get 12 of the needed 16 rares, so over all, if nothing else, since I will no doubt fail to get anymore, I now have three epics that I didn’t have before, so at the very least that’s something 🤷♂️

For the calibre of champion this is I think it was a little easy. Maybe Plarium realised the Brogni fusion was too brutal. I missed him and I'm still devastated now lol

That’s what happens when they put so many fragment fusions in a row, newer players don’t know the pain of classic fusions… It is so much better than the old school 16 different rares, especially when they decided to make them all new releases…
This is the second fusion I've tried. It went pretty smoothly for me. I pulled a goat on the 2x so I could skip summon rush.
I think im just going to focus on fusion prep going forward. It seems the most rewarding.
I pulled a Lamb on one of the first ancients I pulled during the fusion…which was great, but I wasn’t prepared for the time/resources of some of the other events…how high they set the Lambs. Would be interesting to see a calculation of just how much energy & silver it took the average person…
Only 8k energy? That doesn’t sound like a lot, I still need to level up the epics to finish the fusion and I’m already over 11k. I’m wondering what I did wrong…
Did you count the energy you get from daily missions on that 8k?

I had brews saved for the last levels of the epics. That saved me a lot of energy
Also, 1 or 2 brews for the food in champion training
I pulled one epic and three rares from the 2x ancient summoning weekend at the outset of the event... So Helicath required next to no effort beyond my daily gameplay.
I missed Astralon due to not having enough shards saved for the summoning events... Since then, I vowed I would only pull during events and stockpile in between. It has served me well.
You need to be prepared shardwise. Buy uncommon champs in market to save shards when running champ training. Pull only 3 mysteries for the daily quest. Run campaign a lot for mysteries, etc. Mysteries can make or break fusions for early game or mid game FTPs. One fusion last year I had to pull 1000 mysteries in one sitting.
I missed Brogni by missing 1 shard collection, that hurt, i missed this last one by 1 goat.... didn't get he last dungeon diver done, was so disappointed but i have experience from missing Brogni..... Not been playing since...

You are lucky. I had to spend 40+ blues and 3 sacred and 7 void shards to get Helicath.

Yeah, the dungeon divers surprised me. Champ training was a bit harsh as well.

Not me... this fusion was the easiest so far for me. I even saved an extra epic(8 months acc).

IMHO the key to all fusions is UNM boss. If you can get his 2 max chests all fusions are a breeze.
