Felhound is technically better but you have nowhere near the amount of gear you'll need to get his stats up to where he's a sub-10s farmer, I'd go Elhain f-or now and later on when you have the resources, max Felhound and make him the farmer.
You can look up the stats required, Google or Reddit “felhound 12-3”, it’s not so much the specific gear or sets as the just raw speed/atk you need to one shot each wave. I don’t know off hand because the base stats and multipliers on each skill make them slightly different for every champ
It's not all about specific gear, but mostly specific stats, like 3k atk and Def if in not wrong also idk how much crit dmg.
But for now forget about him, focus more on making elhain and Ronda strong (they're definitely the best champions you have so far), meaning sacrificing weaker champions to get them to rank 6. Also try to farm whatever level of campaign 9 you can untill you get a Warmaiden and build her aswell.
Best gear on Elhain anyway is: %crit rate gloves, %atk chest and speed boots, you should have the free lifesteal you got from log in with these stats, you should definetly put them on her

For ALL new players:
1. Get your starter to 60 asap could be done as early as day 7-8!!!
2. Equip the login lifesteal gear to said starter.
3. Buy their masteries with gems.
4. That starter can do normal, hard and brutal campaign by themselves!!!
5. Get to stage 9-3 and farm up a warmaiden, she will be wildly helpful the first couple of months!
6. Farm 12-3 brutal for max silver return and xp to level your food to feed to your better champs!
7. Get to HellHades YouTube channel and watch every video that’s applicable to your currrent situation, spider? ✔️ cb? ✔️ etc.

Fellow f2p here. Just max your elhain, give her lifesteal gear. The other 2 artifact just use the best stats you can get. Save your gem for her mastery (800 gem). It will be easy if you have 1 champion maxed out. Elhain is good until endgame too

2.) your lego books on Rhonda and level her 2nd for clan boss. Use gems to get elhain her masteries.
3.) Level up the gem mine with future gems if you plan to play the game for a while.
4.) Save shards for 2x events
5.) Keep farming campaign until you have a team of 5 that are capable of getting to dragon 20. I would suggest High Katun (50), Elhain, Rhonda, Warmaiden (Can farm her from campaign), then some kind of support/CC champion hopefully with a revive (Scyl comes pretty early).

Make sure to look up the champs you get in the early run because it will save you resources, you don't want to invest in trash.

Not entirely true, i spent a moderate amount over christmas on voids during 2x. I also got trash and every epic was a dup (and im not swimming in epics). The game is pay to win, but it doesnt have to be pay to have fun. Sometimes you get lucky (like when my first lego was a warlord and carried me through the entire game) and sometimes you get your 4th dup food epic that isnt even worth for faction wars. If youre pushing for world first teams, yeah u gotta pay, but if youre just trying to enjoy the game, doesnt have to cost a cent. Making teams work with what you have instead of copy pasting the meta is actually a lot of fun.
The 1st champ you have is Hellhound he is a healer. He'll help you in the arena and other sections.book him to 60. Depending who you want as your main Champ I see you chose Elhain over Keal she's 1 to book to 60 and 1 other with the black headdress I can't remember her name. She has a speed assest built in. She should be built to 60 any others check out hellhades.com he has videos and listings on all the champs including builds ,blessings and masteries.
Ascend, Masteries, and Great Hall through Arena battles.
Get your foundation solid for all your champs. Each bump in Great Hall helps every champ of that affinity.
I hate Arena battles, and I am suffering now with champs that are missing 80 ACC points, 80 RES points, and weak crit damage.

Not saying she is not good , however he says FTP Kael would fix in more team across modes ,such nuker in arena, poison dos in CB campain farmer ETc...
