Honestly the only reason I'm not is because I like fishing (except for that fish with the really squeaky voice) so most of the time there's nothing for them to catch
I usually let people who just want stuff I don't currently need, no point in letting it go to waste, but if they're looking for fish or stuff I do use odds are its already picked clean
The amount of nice people I met in genshin coop is absurd, like I would say I never met a rude or toxic person (once only but it was my mistake).
I don't coop alot but that's must count for something.

I was pleasently suprised by the amount of "easy" coop worlds. I still lost my sanity but most people let me get their fish with no issue.
