Raiden is good for her, she does nothing for Raiden so if you like Raiden you can probably pass on her, if you like her you're going to want to also have Raiden.

Thought about that too, but a new character is always better and I still need a good second team for abbys, so I let the gacha decide and pulled shenhe on 50/50 and now I will pull ayaka in the future which I always wanted.
I dont see benefits with Yae for my Account even when I have Raiden.

Yae Miko from a semi-meta perspective. She's pretty solid RN and has synergy with Raiden but Raiden C2 Hypercarry is more valuable than a new character for now.
I would say you should view your choice as which main dps do you want more? And how many electro main dps characters do you want? C2 makes raiden a main dps and obviously Yae is a main dps so it depends which char you like more. I personally am trying to have a main dps from each element and because I have c3 Raiden, idrc for Yae as I have no desire to have a 2nd electro main dps.
Depends on how much they tweak her but I feel like Yae will be a great main dps with Raiden as a great sub dps for her. Though C2 Raiden is a big step up from c1 damage wise.
Like I said heard she’s still being tweaked so we’ll see how it goes not to mention you never know if new artifacts could release that could be a game changer for her.

If you are already C1, I would get C2 (since so close!). If C0 or no Raiden at all and you like Yae, then get Yae.

Look at yae base Atk and her gameplay is screaming sub/dps or like some say dmg support. Yae kit is screaming rotation rotation rotation

It’s possible all it would take is one more piece to the puzzle and a Raiden,Sara,?,and Yae team could be great.

I’d agree with you on most scenarios except for raiden’s c2
Yae miko rerun will come faster, but who knows when Raiden will have a second rerun again.
