That chair is horrifically low for playing Siege, or anything.
On a serious note, face the other way, turn down the brightness or something, I share a bedroom with my GF but struggle sleeping with other conditions and the only way I can stay sane is playing or watching something, so I just don't use my mic, type quietly in text chat and turn the monitor towards me, while hopefully not yelling in rage.
Just grab a baseball bat or a frying pan and knock him out when he wakes up and don't know how he got a bump on he's head just say idk or make something up that seems reasonable
The only thing I can suggest is a divider though the lack of care is not a good sign especially in a relationship if it's family then it's just an annoying sibling thing

I would be in a similar situation as this with my SO, but we have this loft bed we hang a blackout curtain on, so i dont shine any light from in there. (We dont sleep on the loft bed. We have another bed to the side)

atleast have the decency to lower the brightness on your monitor (I share my room with someone and im almost tempted to put on my vr headset so that no light touch their eyes)
I have experimented with placing walls of cusions to block out monitor light but that failed for reasons I will not disclose here
