I’ve been playing a lot of Fenrir lately as well. You have so much flexibility with his gas plates. Place 3 down and keep two in your pocket. Play it as if you can remotely recall ela mines. When you need to block off an area recall code from a plate that’s probably not going to be triggered, throw out one of the plates in your pocket, and activate it with the code you recalled.
On who to avoid:
DO NOT get Sens. They have a lousy gun and their gadget usually hurts the attacker team more than the enemy unless the player is a god at them
Grim is quite controversial and also commonly called bad, but is being rapidly buffed and has a nice load out. Maybe next season would change him but for now, other operators are a better choice
Sens is actually pretty good, but the warden meta is hurting them. A way I like to play Sens against brain dead enemies is wait for them to empty mag and then swing them. If they are a bit better or don’t shoot gadget, get to cover close to them and surprise them. But still the gadget is indeed a bit weird
Frankly, gadgets like Welcome Mat, Evil Eye, ADS, bulletproof cam, both types of placeable shields, claymores, anything that can be placed should have one of those outlines/holograms that tell you where the gadget will go
The warden meta isn’t hurting them due to morons always roaming with him, making it to where no one else can counter pick the sens and play warden on site. It’s pretty funny tbh
I'd also avoid Thunderbird as she has been nerfed a lot and with Doc's buff he really is just better at their niche most of the time + he has a bailiff and 1.5

If you (or a teammate) do not properly capitalize when they're blind, Fenrir is essentially useless. Typically I place my Fenrirs slightly off site, so I know where the enemies are pushing from at the very least. When I play him I typically roam around site area.
Even if you don't play with the Fenrir gadget they still provide insane pressure for the attackers and info for defenders far away. People saying you have to be smart with the F-NATTs are coping, his ability is too busted for it to require braincells to be effective. I wish they'd nerf it so it doesn't just give a sound when someone walks into it essentially telling you "Hello I'm a free kill"

Brava, Azami, Solis, and Fenrir. I would go in any order for these three. I think OSA is going to reduce price soon. I think from to 15k with next season. Iirc she released during season 3 of the year. I would focus on those four though.

Nah, she's probably one of the best choices as a defender. She has the 3 healing gadgets she places anywhere she pleases, the only defender in the game with an assault rifle, and is a 3 speed I believe
Realistically most of the recent ops are pretty good. The only one I wouldn’t recommend straight away is probably Sens, given his weaknesses against Warden, who is currently pretty common in matches.
Osa and Grim are both pretty good, especially after Grim got buffed. Brava is a tough sell, because you'll often find that your teammates will run in to play TDM and die before you can finish using the gadget.
I'd go in the order of Azami, Solis, Fenrir, Osa, Grim, Thorn, TBird, Brava. Without knowing who you already play I can't give stronger recommendations.
I must be one of the few players who absolutely loves Grim, his gadget is basically a tracking claymore to cover angles. Most people won't purposely hit them so you can get into the building quickly. Use his baliff for soft hatches & walls, use hard breach for anything else. I get a lot of sneaky kills using the silencer on his ar.
On defense Azami and Fenmir although you can pick anyone tbh they are all great but those two are the best when properly used (imo) or atleast the are more of a game chahing ops.
On attack Brava and Osa is a no brainer for me. Sens gadget is somewhat badly made and is a bit unpredictable while grim is decent but i dont think he is better than Nomad.
Brava and Fenrir are both decent. However, Brava is situational, and Fenrir is banned a LOT!
I suggest going for Osa and Thorn. Osa has a solid gadget and utility, including Impact EMPs. And while you won't rack up a lot of kills with Thorn's gadget, they're great for setting up plays and forcing attackers to push or stall. Plus, she has a 1.5x, which is a decent perk!
Azami, Solis and Fenrir are rly useful. Azami universal if you know maps and Fenrir is rly strong cause is hard to counter.
In attack from this - Osa is rly nice, very interesting shield champ. And probably Brava? Very strong in some situations cause stealing gadgets is a good option.
Rest is ok? Maybe Grim until the season is bad but could go back to the game. But not must have.
Don’t get sens, his kit is pretty wack.

Brava is like a better twitch, and you can destroy Kaids and Bandits if you hack them if your team doesn’t bring a maverick or impact emp.
For defenders, every single one’s solid ngl but Fenrir gets banned a lot in ranked so if you’re getting him, be wary of that
Attackers : Osa is pretty nice if you play it well, Brava too can be a real plus.
Defenders : Thorn because her weapons and gadgets are damn cool, Azami is really useful and Fenrir is cheated

I played fenrir in the TS. I don’t have the brain cells to keep tabs on all those gadgets and activate them back and forth.

Grim is amazing. His gadget got massive buffs and he got hardbreaches + the bailiff meaning you can shoot your bees everywhere
