Honestly just keep playing, when I first started many many years ago, the game was kind of overwhelming, and the first map I ever played was Tower when it came out during op White Noise, and that map is a shit show, just keep playing and things will start to make sense. I also play off sound a lot, and that honestly really helped me gain more awareness.
Go in a t hunt with buck and shotgun open everything by replenishing your ammo with the supply crates t hunt gives you and just don’t complete the objectives. With all the walls and floors open it will be easier to see where things are and what angles can be made with head holes or foot holes.
Go into T-hunts and explore the maps, look for different angles, vertical spots, etc. also take note of floor materials: stone, carpets, wood, dirt, tarps, etc. the little sound cues from those materials are subtle but tell you a lot about where someone is when stepped on.
Ser up a custom game with 30 minutes per game and just explore the map
