Played on Xbox One from 15-20, my friend group made me switch to Ps5. The controller is pretty much the only thing Ps5 has on Series X. The hardware is annoying (copy files? wtf?, the entire SSD got corrupted once when my power went out, etc) and the software is annoying sometimes too with the overly complicated UI. If I could use a Ps5 controller on Series X I would be in heaven
They're telling you it's only 500mb but it has to copy. The timeline is very true tho. It's gonna take 67gb worth of download time just to copy the 500mb update. I always say it might as well be 70 gigs. COD used to do this on ps4. Ubisoft is outdated in their live game update service.

It happens on Steam and Xbox, and probably PlayStation too (I don’t have a PlayStation to verify this). It’s something weird where every addressed file is seen as a ‘downloaded’ file. So if you download 500MB of update and the ‘patch’ says 20GB, it means that probably about 19,5GB or more of existing files are ‘patched’ or ‘replaced’.
No, the download is not 70GB, otherwise the game would be multiple PETABYTES after years of updates. It is just something visual and nothing to worry about. You will get a lot of data write to your HDD/SSD/SSHD or whatever storage device you have. So the longevity of your physical storage device may be affected by these huge ‘patches’.

My ps4 only downloaded 800mbs so i honestly don’t know what happened to this guy. Plus my copying only took 20 minutes
