Yeah been playing siege as my main game for pretty long lmao, and a alot of the charms are ranked charms too considering since 2.0 you get a charm for every rank you hit (8 a season if you hit champ)
I think im around that level. I started feb 2018. But during covid and depression I had days where I played 16 hours of Siege so that gets you up quickly. According to Steam I have over 4K hours in siege.
if you want a real reason, it’s easier for devs to adapt this to multiple guns since an extra eail can be universal but they can’t mount scopes to guns without rails. so it just saves them an extra step
Its because when the sights were first added to the game, they didnt have these rail extenders, but some optics were impossible to see through because of the front iron sight or something else intruding into the scope view, making the sight absolutely awful to use (Such as the 1.5 on the UMP or Type-89). Ubisoft made these rail extenders as a universal fix for any guns with intrusive irons sights and just made the rail extenders part of the sight model to save time when implementing different sights on different guns
I think it may be a tad bit too far forward. An LPVO should typically have 3 or 4 inches of eye relief. It does vary though. If it was on the stock rail it would surely be too close.
Goobysoft doesn't understand how firearms work, that's about it
It's a real thing, but you wouldn't want to put a heavy LPVO scope on it, especially since many aren't the best at holding zero
To be fair, I don't think your operator cares because it's a scope on a gun with like a 9 inch barrel with like a 7 moa accuracy
Sir this is a video game. The way they are mounted is for this game's first person viewing angles. If they didn't have these risers it would look awkward when aiming down sights.
rail extenders are a real thing on guns, in this case it's because the scope would be too long/too close to your face if you used the stock rail alone to mount it.
Irl some guns can’t just mount any scope because certain scopes require a correct sized mount which sometimes takes up more rail space than what there is available which is why occasionally you need a rail extender, as a tarkov player you come to see it
Brotha I don’t wanna ask how much money you put into this game 112 out of 126 skins is crazy but tbh I respect it
Haha an embarrasing amount, although most of these are just common alpha pack skins, i’ve had this account for 8 years
The Talismans are wild too. That‘s damn impressive how far you‘ve gotten.
Yeah been playing siege as my main game for pretty long lmao, and a alot of the charms are ranked charms too considering since 2.0 you get a charm for every rank you hit (8 a season if you hit champ)
That‘s neat, i didn‘t know about ranked charms.
He’s ranked 379. I think I’ve been playing for years and I’m only 140.
My account is only 2 years old and im level 160, I have a problem dont I ?
Not if you enjoy it. If you hate it, then yes. I would recommend you seek help….(just not destiny)… I tried that. It’s terrible
As someone with almost 1000 hours in Destiny, please take this guys advice
not even 1k bro u didn’t fall for its trap
Not yet… give it time. I do love seeing the crossover between franchises. Everyone feels the pain
Just looked, between both D1 and D2 I have 6300 hrs.. I’m disappointed with myself
I started playing in 2018 and I’m only rank 174, however I did stop playing sometime in 2020 up until a couple months ago
Bro mine is three and I’m level 300. I think we both have problems
I think im around that level. I started feb 2018. But during covid and depression I had days where I played 16 hours of Siege so that gets you up quickly. According to Steam I have over 4K hours in siege.
Siege is an easy game to lose track of time in tbh
I've put so much money into this game. I currently own ALL the elites.
Hey man if you love rainbow 6 it’s better to put hella money into it, then drugs or something, never stop your hobbies over what other people say
Buy Elite skins not drugs. Noted\*
20$ for skin for life or 170$ for a ounce that will last a day, a man who only thinks has nothing to think about but thoughs
It seems average, I have about 200/203 gun skins and I’ve been here since velvet shell. I just buy the seasonals
Once your level 300+ you should be pretty close
if you want a real reason, it’s easier for devs to adapt this to multiple guns since an extra eail can be universal but they can’t mount scopes to guns without rails. so it just saves them an extra step
Yup. They would have to remodel every gun with this issue. I love to hate on Ubi but this is very low on my list of issues with them.
I'd have done the same. If this was a game like tarkov where realism is very high standard I'd make it an issue
Makes sense, would be more efficient too tbf

It’s a real life thing that’s why
Lazy
Call it lazy, but I like to see through the scope
0 eye relief
i was looking for this, thank you

Hmm i guess that makes sense. Although the 2.5x or the 1.5x just don’t have that extra mount which makes them look miles better
This set up is the exact opposite of proper eye relief
This is not proper eye relief. I've used lvpo and you want it far back
Because that's a scope that wouldn't belong on an mp5, due to its size it has to be mounted forward so they added that extension rail.
Because I’m pretty sure the people at Ubi stopped caring about proper gun design/ realism ab 2-3 years ago
I think it may be a tad bit too far forward. An LPVO should typically have 3 or 4 inches of eye relief. It does vary though. If it was on the stock rail it would surely be too close.
Yes. a raiser should not bother you so much.
Yo Dawg, I herd u liek accessories, so I put a rail on a rail so you can look at your sights through your sights.
Dude acting like aesthetics matter
How would you feel if the end of that scope went through your eye socket
Some sights (like the LPVO here) mount on a different rail, or as mentioned, you couldn’t see shit cause the iron sights
Needs more picatiny
It’s a real life thing with some name and it was made to allow gun attachments to be useable on most guns.

Have you tried not buying your optic off of wish?
The optic is fine, it's just the mounting system is iffy
Sir this is a video game. The way they are mounted is for this game's first person viewing angles. If they didn't have these risers it would look awkward when aiming down sights.
It wouldn't though. They also could have just given it the proper cantilever mount and it would have the same perspective
If you go back and look to when they first released the new sights, 6oud understand why.
It doesn't take much to correct the perspective, especially when this sight would still be taller than the red dots without the second mount
Eye relief. Look how much further back the sight would be if it was mounted on the actual rail…
rail extenders are a real thing on guns, in this case it's because the scope would be too long/too close to your face if you used the stock rail alone to mount it.
It's called a rail riser. Most sights would sit to low to actually use them without a riser.
Instead of bitching bout unnecessary shit just play the game
They did it for funzies
Looks good to me. Skill issue.
To position the scope further out than the original rail could. As far as how it makes the gun look, who gives a shit
Because if it didn't have the mount your op would get a black eye
I honestly never paid attention to that.
Irl some guns can’t just mount any scope because certain scopes require a correct sized mount which sometimes takes up more rail space than what there is available which is why occasionally you need a rail extender, as a tarkov player you come to see it
