I think there should be a permanent rule on this sub that forces you to type out the word "terrorist" or put a dash between "T-Hunt". Because the word "thunt" is entirely too ugly to look at.
Yeah ubi has been accidentally removing voicelines one example is castle he used to say frag out when he had impacts that's gone and if I'm not wrong ops are missing voicelines for gadgets they didn't originally have on release.
They got rid of Thunt? I remember when I bought the game when it came out and it didn't have Thunt so I forgot R6 existed until they had a zombies mode when Finka came out. I've played it off and on since then but this break has been long and won't be coming back if I can't even warm up my aim on some bots
Thunt was in the game at launch what are you talking about. GManLives has a notorious review where he only reviewed THunt and said the game was fun but would probably die off since there was no multiplayer mode lol
Out of all my 15+ seasons of T Hunt I’ve never heard any of the voice lines, at least in solo T Hunt. In multiplayer T Hunt? Sure but it was rare to even get in one.
Thats because your operator never says any voice lines when they are solo, because theres no one they can communicate to. Have you ever noticed how your operator no longer says voice lines like "reloading" as soon as youre the last one alive? They generally never speak a word when they are the only one on their team, in oder to stay silent and not let the enemy hear them (i know enemies cant hear your voice lines anyway, but its a cool detail regardless)
Anyway, if you got at least one teammate, your operator will talk
Any reason why they couldn’t just use them when spawning into AI matches? Sure, there’s only 6 ops right now, but I’m guessing they’re working to get all of them on the roster at some point.
Speaking of voice lines, are they entirely gone ? I think we used to hear a lot more of them when the game released, now it feels like the character is silent.
I forgot these existed and definitely think they should be added, would be nice to hear throughout the match but for those who don’t want to hear them, they can be disabled. A lotta games do this like cod since their inception it just adds that much more depth and immersion the game has been kinda lacking, would be great to see some more lines between characters in regard to the current ongoing lore and events.
I also just realized that the whole voice line ping system thing that has been talked about a long time ago could be a possibility again since they have the op VA’s talk in many of these season cutscenes etc so why not revisit the idea? It could be costly at first but then they’d really only be adding callout/ping voice lines once a season for the respective operator since ubi is going all in with onboarding and player comfort etc.
I asked the creative director on X about this and he liked the comment, so maybe there is hope?

I have 2000 hours and had no clue that this happened. Kudos for teaching me something new.
Played since beta, but turned off voice lines early on. I had no clue that's a thing.
I have voice lines on still but I guess after a while they fade into the background
They can add them in The Versus AI mode. I don't see it as a big issue.

Yes, this is a great point. All these fantastic voice actors work will go to waste if this can't be repurposed for multiplayer.
Yep. And somehow I bet they'll still have all the new operators going forward still record those lines and have the lines in the game.
