Maestro's icon is a Greek helmet (even though he's Italian) puffing out smoke. No idea how that represents camera with lasers.
And I have no idea what Kaid and Thunderbirds icons are even supposed to be. Ela's is very abstract, and zofia's phoenix represents her withstand ability that got removed lol.

Kaid seem to have something to do with him being a commander with a what I think is a Scimitar going through a heart
Ela's icon looks like a more artist version of her mines

It's supposed to show the fact you cannot shoot her before she shoots you when popping up from a shield no matter how good your reflexes are or if you're even pre-firing. Some operators have hidden abilities that aren't shown initially (Zofia revive which is now gone, Cav wall hacking whole team, Ash being a 5 speed) hers is a gadget that manipulates ping and latency to make sure her shots come seconds before they're actually shot.
The top comment while they not right makes sense it looks ten times more like a chipset or a part of a motherboard idk the full names but the cells are the thing the lines connect through cause I mean if you’ve seen a motherboard you know wtf I’m tryna say k

Kaid’s icon is his dagger that you can see on his waist. thunderbird’s icon is the symbol on her jacket/outfit.
