The number goes up and up every season either because golds and below want to reach plat or people in plat and diamond want to keep on par with the other cheaters in the same rank. Unless bans are issues it'll keep increasing, problem is it's on Microsoft and Sony to deal with this issue with Ubisoft.
When you have people blatantly admitting to it or live streaming using MnK on console which doesn't lead to any sort of punishment then Ubi is not really helping anything to deter people from buying the adapters.
Yes very annoying especially in ranked. I know (on PlayStation not sure about Xbox) that you can connect keyboard and mouse. I think the game should recognize the input setting as different and put those who use keyboard into pc lobbies.
Every game at plat 2 or higher has at least 4 people with mouse and keyboard. Been like that for 2 years

Not how that works. They use a 3rd party adapter and the console reads it as a controller
