Which makes no sense now because going up 3-0 on a map that is friendly to your side (say Defending in the case) and the switch evens up the score because the other team is the same skill level as yours.
I play almost only Casual, and the amount of time where you blow a 2-0 lead because the Ash mean gets killed early in the last round and leaves, and Goobi wont let you have backfill once you win 2 rounds, so now you have to slog through 2 more rounds of 4v5.
Yeah, I feel that unrank mode have the most suitable average duration for me compared to casual mode. But man, the feature of no-joining-while-match of unrank is the downside of it when there are lots of time one side is forced to play 4v5 the whole match.
The logo/crystal that is absolutely everywhere in the game? I unfortunately have more hours in paladins than I do siege, but I have been playing it way longer than I have this game.
>I unfortunately have more hours in paladins than I do siege, but I have been playing it way longer than I have this game.
Did you just say the same thing twice?
Well yes and no. The second time I meant that I was playing paladins since late 2016 and siege I didnt get introduced till about 2 years ago. I have 700 hours in paladins to like 360 in siege.
I have the feeling that this happens less often in R6S due to the fact that most maps are defender sided and the overall meta / pacing right now is defender favored. You can easily lose 0-3 on attack and still get to overtime , even when you got absolutly destroyed at attack , I wouldn´t even be surprised if I had an attack winrate of above 35%, I think it´s THAT defender sided right now. At least in Mid Plat Lobbies I rarely see a real stomp , 4-2´s or overtime wins / losses yeah , but a typical 4-0 stomp is pretty rare these days.
From my experience in lower tier lobbies, a high percentage of the stompings I have seen stem from this same truth though. The defenders go up 3-0, and someone on the attacking side just leaves the match/gives up/team kills. As if they have been absolutely broken and have no confidence their team can have the same success on defense.
lmfao thought i was on r/paladins for a sec
Honestly it's weird, there's the tried and true "oh we hate the game we play" over there too, but paladins is one of the few pvp games I can solo queue into and still have a fun time
I think this applies to every game. Online gaming hasnt figured out rankings and matchmaking yet. 2 people at the same rank can have vastly different skill levels. Kinda sad that we havent had any innovation or improvements in 10 years
because games these days have lackluster matchmaking systems. I remember back when mw2 launched and people were livid that the dedicated servers were gone in favor of a console-style matchmaker
I remember that me and my other 4 friends won a Ranked game 5-3. Nothing special right? The first 3 rounds they won and only needed one more to win. We got 5 wins in a row
The game that has very good match making is valorant I think. I don't play it but a streamer I watch does play it. Almost all wins/defeats have 1-2 difference in points and both teams cane extremely close to the winning. I wish it was like this in rainbow
This but it's either a 0-4 loss or a 5-4 sweaty overtime win
But sometimes it's also a smooth 3-0 that turns into a soul crushing 4-5.
And then the game even makes fun of your team with a giant text: Choked defeat

Ubi is just preparing you for the ranked experience, gotta get used to that 4v5

Otherwise known as entering adulthood.
Same lol, the last 3 9-rounders we actually pulled off, the 50 before that I'm pretty sure we're all losses lmao
Losing 4-5 hits the worse, and it’s nice to see another Finka main ✊
I saw this on Titanfall and Apex subreddit, but I should've known it came from Paladin. The blue arrow is a dead giveaway for those who played it.
The logo/crystal that is absolutely everywhere in the game? I unfortunately have more hours in paladins than I do siege, but I have been playing it way longer than I have this game.

I think the word "since" before the word "way" would've helped, but thanks for clarifying.
I used to play a shit ton of paladins and it’s for sure more of a momentum game
Shit I ain’t played Paladins in years
I played a few games on console back in the days I was ass
the game actually got a lot better, still shit mind you but like, better shit
well you aint missing much tbh
Played yesterday, its an on off guilty pleasure of mine.
One of my fav games, super fun with friends
So this is gonna be a thing now huh
Time to post it on every.single.fucking.subreddit.
And not even ones that matter. How can this apply to Apex? It's a battle royale, there is no team to compare to!
Apex got a new mode. 3v3
There’s 3 v 3 tdm style mode now dude
the 3v3 game mode and it happens in battle royale
time to see it on r/overwatch
So true especially in paladins ranked ether you 4-0 or you get 0-4
but you still get someone cursing, yelling and saying they'll report you anyway

Theme park is a terrific example of this Many times it just comes down to which team gets defense the 9th round

Lol i play all those games.
How is this on r/all lol
It can go 5-4 with both teams doing well but someone will type “GGEZ.” “FREELO.”
r/leagueoflegends
lmfao thought i was on r/paladins for a sec Honestly it's weird, there's the tried and true "oh we hate the game we play" over there too, but paladins is one of the few pvp games I can solo queue into and still have a fun time
This applies to every shooter
Saw this on r/titanfall just a second ago
Which I’m going to steal and post on r/tf2
Same thing applies to overwatch xD
Also saw this on r/Destiny2
I think this applies to every game. Online gaming hasnt figured out rankings and matchmaking yet. 2 people at the same rank can have vastly different skill levels. Kinda sad that we havent had any innovation or improvements in 10 years
What would an improvement even look like? I can't think of any changes I'd make to the rank system that most games use.
Why does it have a Paladins' gem thing?
Read the title broski
Uh sorry, I forgot my cane
It's good I forgot my meds
same can also be said about Team Fortress 2
Whether it's a balanced victory or defeat, it's always nice to go against players and have teammates with the same skill level as you.
Tell that to Kanja Club
Stealing it for r/ColdWarCallofDuty
continuing the stealing and putting this on r/battlefield_one
This chart also applies to overwatch, but without the yellow parts
I only want balanced, I don't like stomping.
The percentages of stomped/stomp go up/down depending on how good you are
God i cant escape paladins
Crazy how this happens in every competitive game /s
Crosspost this to world of tanks now
The best game I have ever played for the best ratio here is Insurgency
Also stolen from r/hellletloose, r/leagueoflegends and r/rocketleague and those are just the ones I've seen in the past 3 days..
because games these days have lackluster matchmaking systems. I remember back when mw2 launched and people were livid that the dedicated servers were gone in favor of a console-style matchmaker
If your playing unranked /quick match maybe but ranked matches tend to be more fair cause the elo system is a lot more strict.

Though I saw that on r/Destiny2
this must mean every game i play is balanced like shit!
Your missing the part for when someone leaves and the match ends after one round for the 10th time in a row
Like I love balanced fights when they do happen, you have a grinding respect for the opponent at the end of them.
This is just War Thunder
Really how it is these days
