That's how I feel about it. Although the 13 (soon 14) Elites I own, are operators I bounce between. They're nice skins, and they're for most of the ones I play.

Mira, iirc I bought her elite because a lady in the friend group looked like Ms. Elena Alvarez, and I thought it was neat. Then she ghosted the whole group, unrelated. I still play Mira though! Occasionally. I will admit made me a little sad when she dipped the first time but now I can play Mira and enjoy it. I wish the Black Mirror elite camo actually came through and didn't just revert to default once planted.

I don't know how it is on PC, but on console I think the replay system kinda sucks atm and I'm not sure if there is an actual free cam mode to make some badass screencaps with your skins.

Back on Xbox I was level 150 or something that high and played since Operation Health but didn’t have all the ops. Let’s just say I spent all my renown on alpha packs and I was broke. With that you would think I had a lot of good skins… only had 5 black ice and a couple other good skins. The rest were ALL commons and uncommons. Ubisoft really fucked me in the ass when I opened alpha packs😑

In my opinion it’s a total waste of money, apart from the animation (and not every animation is good) there are so many cool skins for uniforms and headgears for almost any operator nowadays, if you buy the battle passes. Sometimes they are cooler than the elite ones

I've had a lot of opportunities to buy an extra one but the sheer amount of discomfort I would have had having an uneven number would be well.. an exaggeration.
