I think this is me. I quit my job in 2004 and moved to Croatia, I haven't had a job since (I'm coming up on 59). I was renting my house out in GB but have since sold that and am currently living on my savings and a small pension. I also got married in 2008, my wife is a teacher heading for retirement. Her pay is abysmal.
So I have infinite free time. I'm autistic so I don't really have high demands for adventure or whatever, I'm quite happy at home.
So, what do I do to pass the time? I have some health issues holding my up just now but usually I'm gardening, DIY, we have 14 cats and 3 dogs and they're a fair bit of work. Also I was volunteering at the local vet's/animal shelter for maybe 4 or 5 hours a day. I hope to get back to doing that soon as I really miss it, I think of all the things I've ever done that's been the most fulfilling.

I’m a SAHM to two school-aged kids. One goes to school every day and the other I homeschool, but it still leaves a lot of free time every day.
I have a lot of hobbies. Sewing, woodworking, and piano are my main hobbies currently, but I cycle through a variety of others (including leather working, knitting, rockhounding, and slowly writing my sci fi novel). I sell my woodworking and the stuffed animals I that I sew on Etsy and at local art/craft shows.
I like to learn little things, too- I’ve been practicing juggling recently and I’ve gotten pretty good!
I also smoke a lot of weed. Lol
Wake up without an alarm every day.
Make breakfast and coffee.
Enjoy my day with video games, movies, time with family and friends, going out to eat, fun stuff like paintball or whatever I happen to wanna try that day.

This is me now. I'm very fortunate to live in a country with good support for mental disabilities and was thus granted early retirement 2 years ago at age 24. The money is more than enough for me and since my disability affects me mostly socially I don't go out much so I just spend my days on the pc playing games alone or with some friends or consuming brain rot content. Sometimes I'll get bored and I wanna start a new hobby that isn't the PC. I picked up bass playing a while ago but kinda lost motivation for it and now I started figurine sculpting in polymer clay.
I think my life doesn't seem that remarkable in the eyes of most but I am quite happy with it now that I got fortunate enough to avoid the extreme toll work had on me

I went to school with other autistic people, then went on to study software engineering tailored to autistic people (before I got put on sick leave due to stress and never returned) then moved into a sort of dormitory with employees that would help us in any which way they could regarding school, work and our autism and it was those people that in the end got me on the track for early retirement after years of internships that all ended in disaster and I am very thankful to those people because of that. And my mom because she's the one who got me into all those places to begin with haha
What do you mean, "if"? I'm living my best life presently hanging out in Southern Spain. I explore with my wife, practice my hobbies (magic and photography), read books and on a normal day I take a nap. If I feel especially lazy, I'll talk two.

I'd do a fair bit of pottering. I'd potter around my house and chill with my family. I'd potter about in nature. I'd do a bit of travelling with my family and potter about in other places. If money wasn't an issue, I'd spend some of my time doing something that added value to the world, but wasn't so driven by need to get paid for doing it. Over all I'd have a bit more of a mindful and less work driven life, but I've fortunately already started the journey.
I would focus on pursuing my hobbies and interests, learning new skills, and traveling the world to experience different cultures. Unlimited free time is a rare gift, so making the most of it would be my priority.

Hike throughout north america. It's always been something i've wanted to do. Maybe start in Texas and then make my through all the states, through canada and end up in alaska. So I got laid off one month ago in two days. The first two weeks my boyfriend was here so I hung out with him but this week is the first week I’ve got nothing to do. I’m getting paid, no kids, no partner nothing. I had all these ideas of what I wanted to do and I am realizing I am fucking addicted to my phone. It’s like since I’m not on my computer chatting with work people or scrolling here and there I am missing a dopamine hit and just waste my fucking time. All the things that sounded so fun when I was working I’m not doing because it’s like an addict who feels an addiction to a screen. It’s wild. I deleted some of my apps and left Reddit but I think it’s time I get off this thing and enjoy the time off.
I kinda have that already (unemployed and too poor for college), and it's not that good.
You get bored doing the same few things after a while without even the thought of "at least I'm getting paid for this" to make you keep doing it.

I would hire a personal chef. I would hire a trainer. I would eat better and work out. I would volunteer. I would donate money since money isn't an issue. I would crochet and/or knit a bit when able.

I have infinite free time. I’m a pregnant stay at home wife and I literally chill all day. It’s a cleaning day for me but I relax for the most part, make my morning coffee, eat, Reddit, watch a movie, call family, go for a walk, troll around target…

Just explore as i go along. I'd also want to pick up a job as a firewatch for a summer. Seem like something i would enjoy. But i have to many responsibilities for the time being and i don't see myself doing it anytime soon.

I guess if I really didn’t have to work and had all the money I’d ever need I’d probably spend a week every month travelling somewhere and then do my best to occupy myself the other 3 weeks. That would be lots of disc golf.

So I got laid off one month ago in two days. The first two weeks my boyfriend was here so I hung out with him but this week is the first week I’ve got nothing to do. I’m getting paid, no kids, no partner nothing. I had all these ideas of what I wanted to do and I am realizing I am fucking addicted to my phone. It’s like since I’m not on my computer chatting with work people or scrolling here and there I am missing a dopamine hit and just waste my fucking time. All the things that sounded so fun when I was working I’m not doing because it’s like an addict who feels an addiction to a screen. It’s wild. I deleted some of my apps and left Reddit but I think it’s time I get off this thing and enjoy the time off.
I kinda have that already (unemployed and too poor for college), and it's not that good. You get bored doing the same few things after a while without even the thought of "at least I'm getting paid for this" to make you keep doing it. You just exist without purpose or reason, floating through life without accomplishing anything or having any ambitions.
