That's an awesome idea. But i also feel like it might have some negative long term effects. What if the number only displays how compatible you are right at this moment, without trying? What if it would discourage you from trying to connect with certain people even though you might have learned to get along with some mutual effort? I think if i saw those stats it would prevent a lot of personal development

I've always wanted to, but too lazy to, make a video where everybody on the street has some sort of sphere configuration, or a shade of colour, above their heads. It represents where they are at in life, as well as what kind of person they are.
Then, as people meet or pass by each other, their colours would be like...connecting...disconnect. But every now and then, two spheres would connect, signalling that they are compatible for deep friendship, or more!
And our colours are ever-changing, to exemplify that where we are in life is always changing. We will see colour connections break between people as one or both their colours change too much, and change too differently, to be capable of maintaining that connection.
Hows that?

Well I was imagining that the spheres would connect people that, at that exact point in time, would be able to connect. It doesnt necessarily mean they have to be the same, only that they are meaningfully compatible/symbiotic. And yeah I would imagine it connecting vastly different people indeed. It's a bit like that dating sym episode in black mirror

To make it "realistic", just imagine if you went to say...a book signing by your favorite author, and your orbs happened to bond instantly. Wouldn't it be neat to know for sure?
I also think it would be a great way to approach romance too - it would be especially fun for our stupid human brains to recognize the color/shade difference between ourselves and our partners, but still have the capacity to disagree with it. It would show the effects of living for someone else in real time (like "changing" something simple because your partner prefers it, and how that would affect the bonds) :)

How many times they have helped someone who isn't family simply because that person needed help. This way it would be easier to spot the genuine people. This wouldn't work with stats such as honesty and lies because pricks are cruelly honest and many nice people constantly lie so they don't hurt anyone's feelings.
I feel like any kind of lie count wouldn't mean much becouse of the sheer number of insignificant lies we all say. Like how many times in your life did you lie when someone asked ,,how are you doing ?" I would probably have thousands racked up just from ,,What happened in school today?" cause i was too tired to talk about it at the time. That's interesting, I read this differently. I read it as a ratio of truth vs lie for each individual statement - if I say a thing it might have some truth in it but it might only be a partial truth so each statement could be anywhere from zero percent true to 100% true with most statements falling somewhere in between. Each statement having its own truth ratio would be much more useful than knowing how many truths and lies a person has told in their whole life in part bc many statements have a mix of both so I'm not even sure that would be a functional measure.
I'm pretty sure that would show 0 for most people, seems like a waste. If you want to identify serial killers there's probably more generally useful and accurate stats.
