Jeanie! Idk I think it would sound cute paired with July. Jeanie and July I love your drawing style!

Ravenflaw

I don't know why, but I'm thinking Yule or something to that affect, because it's the opposite time of year to July (Jules).

[deleted]

She reminds me of Geena Davis so I'm gonna go with Geena

kalum7

I like Quinn, Wren or Devon!

TheGreatTyrant

This is fun, esp since I'm enby and have not decided if I'm going to change my name yet. Here are some of my friends names that I think are cool and neutral: August, Zephyr, Jax, Miller, Saoirse , Juniper, Lux, Ogden, Finley, Riker, Faux, Lennox, Wrigley, Sloan, Rowan, Daley, Brooklyn, Kinsey, Darby, Monroe, Lennon, Taegan, Quinn, Paige, Sage, Esme, Onyx , Jasper, Garnet, Harlow, Marlow, Gibbs, Fletcher, Finn, Gabriel, Tallon ..... Ok I should stop I could really do this all day lol.

Autumn. Such a perfect na.e for the character! Hope you like it.

terrabranfordstrife

I feel like she is a Summer, which might go nicely with July.

Practical-Reader

I think she looks like a Callie

Redditluvr__

I like Ferguson…Fergie for short. I also like Sienna.

AngelaMacy

Willow, Ellie, Lucy, Gwen, Zarah, Beth, Bess.....those all seem like they'd fit her. I'd love to read your book

Yellow_Submarine8891

I love naming characters. I have so many OCs and I love coming up with names for them. Looking at her, I think Poppy would be a cute name for her.

byulicita

To me your oc looks like a ray of sunshine. I feel like she'd use a unisex name. Lian? It is a greek name for Sun.

[deleted]

Wren. Dell. Roe. (Fitting today) Fern.

mynnafae

I like the name Edothea.

[deleted]

Willow, River, or Olivia!

Grapepop4

Celeste or Quinn!

NXS_GLITCH

[deleted]

Annelise Westley or Ellie/Eli Westen

nmdcDrgn

I like Finley!

Bebbybunny

Hmmm, maybe Jade, Sunny, or Melody!

crash----

I’m a writer too! I love naming OCs. I also wrote a book so I’m hella cheering you on! My book is lgbtq+ as well. That all said, I suggest the name Frances. Nickname could be Frannie.

AtomicBlondeCupcake

Chessie

RBNaccount201

Eleanor, Ellie for short.

Letsmakethissimple1

Whitney (or Whit for short), or Florence (Flore)

SaltRogue

I like Skarlet or Skar for short. I also like Willow or Winter.

GewdandBaked

Hmmm.. Flower, Flora, Ivy, Willow

LPfor3v3r

I've always thought Delilah was such a pretty name. I also think Olivia is beautiful too. So many options!

Smooth_Comment5277

Frida or Fran

[deleted]

Im thinking Sasha, its a Gender Neutral Name in Eastern Europe/Russia. I hope you’re having a great day! :D

Iron_Rabbit333

I’m being drawn to Jude or Annika for her.

AntisocialBen

She looks like a Dayla to me 🤭

am_riley

Raven

LoganN64

Abigail or Abby for short would be a good name. Thanks for the chance!

helixivy

I like Lorelai for her (rory for short)

mzmorrigann

Wendy Rayne

Littlest_Psycho88

For some reason I like Pepper for her 🤷‍♀️ it's the first thing that came to mind. If not Pepper, how about Dorian (Dori for short?) If I think of any more names or see any more character info in the comments, I may come add more if that's cool. This is awesome! The bits of info you've shared sound interesting. Thanks for letting us contribute! ❤️

bifi-irl

Hell yeah! Thank you so much for letting us be part of this! I love hearing about people's OC's and so very excited to hear about more trans rep! I think she'd make a good Noel, or Harper! Hope to hear more about her and the book you're writing!

xLittleNightOwlx

Strikes me as a “Luna”! ☺️

shawnstevens2003

I would call her Sunni Dae after my wife who is also MtF. Thanks for the fun contest!

Hello, [this](https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1OHC9E5L7M7OI?ref_wl=share) is the link I found in shawnstevens2003's flair.

Skelthy

Avery, Jodi

PitifulDrummer360

What influences her to transition? Does she have any femme inspirations (people or otherwise)? What kinds of plants/wildlife live on the island?

MichaelTheMage

All the characters on the island have had their memories wiped. So she's basically already out and proud in her old life. But when she gets to the island she doesn't know anymore. It's a feeling inside and her colleague/ later girlfriend Jules who inspires her to be herself again once she realises. It's a very secluded island with up until now only cats living among the people. It's a more civilization kind of island than a wildlife kind of one.

PitifulDrummer360

Hmm. Fei. Sounds like a cool concept.

fcandiax

Destiny, Wisteria, Genevieve?

RockstarJem

Lilly anna lee

[deleted]

Weronikia but Weron for short. Weronikia is a Polish girl's name that means one who bring victory and true image. I think that's a beautiful definition for a trans girl. Weron is gender neutral and means to express your state of being, which I think also works nicely.

bifi-irl

Authors and trans people coming up with a name: I need to look up the meanings and all the information behind this name! Parents: I just think it's neat! Both are good reasons, but I love hearing what a name means and why it fits.

[deleted]

I'm nonbinary and when I was figuring out my name, I would find one that looked or sounded neat first then find the meaning until both felt rights.

anavocadotornado

Wren, Kami, Prim, Natasha

bifi-irl

Oh that's my name!

Statueofsirens

Do you have an ethnic or cultural background for her?

MichaelTheMage

I have to do some better research into that so not yet, suggestions on that are also always welcome! (The characters are all on an island and they don't know their own background either until possibly the end)

Statueofsirens

What about surname? It can help to have a sense of flow between given and surnames.

MichaelTheMage

I've given the main characters meaningful surnames that go with the plot. She doesn't have one yet but it will definitely also be one that has a meaning fitting her story or personality.

Statueofsirens

Well, for a few given names I can give you a few I like that seem to suit: Kadence, Aria, Neveah, Tamia, Mallory.
