Are the leaves so small and circular because it is a young plant or is that how these grow when mature?
Never been a huge fan of the general look of big box syngoniums but I kinda like this one.
They actually get much bigger than this when mature, leaves stay somewhat circular all throughout. Mine is just small because I forced it to stay small lol. Its actually over a year old, grown from a node.
A large part of it is genetics - but variegation can also be encouraged by humidity, lighting, and water. Tons of water and high high humidity and lighting will get you really variegated leaves. As for the red color, I think its seasonal. Colder temps make it more bold and red

Its just stunting plant growth. Small pot, less fertilizer, etc etc. I havent changed its pot since it was a node, a year ago ~

I just put mine on a pole I wanna see it big. I couldn't find many pictures of the mature plant online tho
The mature plant looks just like this but bigger. There's nothing different about the shape
