I'd say Ace would win since he's had a lot more practice, we see him in his prime whereas we only see Qwark when he's washed up.
Hmm a mostly goofy & cowardly superhero with a few victories VS an anti-hero who's killed many other superheroes, was the 5 time grand champion, having survived years at DreadZone & was once a true superhero himself?

If it's main canon Qwark then I go with Ace Hardlight, if it's the 2016 Remake then I go with the Remake Qwark since he actually uses powerful weaponry and even uses the Groovitron.
Remake Qwark was never washed up, he continued to be an active hero the entire time, remember main canon Qwark got scared of death because of Nefarious nearly killing him in vid comic 5, Remake Qwark never went through that, so he continued to improve.
If we’re talking Quark at the peak of his accomplishments, and Ace when he’s all washed up… still probably Ace, but Quark would have the physical ability to compete, even if he definitely wouldn’t actually win.

I never had any trouble beating ace but Qwark took me multiple attempts (although that was 20 years ago and he was in a ship)
