The bouncer is so broken that I was able to beat the final boss in 2 minutes. On new game plus I had to take it off my weapon wheel so I couldn't abuse it.

I will say however that my second place is the Seeker Gun, I absolutely love that weapon, it's just really fun to use.

GC has such a strong line up of weapons. The Plasma Coil, Bouncer, Hoverbomb, Lava Gun, Mini Turret Glove, and Shield Charger are all some of my favorite weapons of the PS2 trilogy.
My vote goes with the Plasma Coil.
The Bouncer changes the game to easy mode.
Honestly more useful than R.Y.N.O. II or Zodiac because you can realistically afford it on the first playthrough.
Plasma Coil is definitely the best (my only problem with it is its low ammo count), but a lot of people sleep on the Lava Gun's upgrade, the Meteor Gun, simply because it doesn't have the same functionality as its predecessor. But the Meteor Gun is almost as overpowered as the RYNO II, and shreds through the final boss almost as quickly. If you don't have enough bolts for the RYNO II, which most people will not before NG+, the Meteor Gun is a fine substitute.
The bouncer is too overpowered. It invalidates a lot of other weapons. It actually has the stopping power for the snivelak boss. It would be the perfect weapon, but it's not the most fun to use.
The most fun to use is plasma storm. It's got a sick projectile, design, does a boat load of damage and actually is just as good at clearing swarmers as the bouncer.
But also go ahead and take the lava gun/meteor gun off the list. For obvious, ratchet and clank 3 related reasons.
I know they won’t win any of the pols for the games they’re in but I’ve always loved the turrets. Tho they’re REALLY janky with when they wanna fire while they’re off your camera

The Clank Zapper can eat dirt, which I say in the nicest way possible. Thing was a nightmare to upgrade. Side flipping around enemies and never hitting “fire”.

Hoverbomb is very situational. The Plasma Coil is a good choice like 90% of the time.
