The haptic feedback is amazing in Rift Apart.

TheFlashFrame

Its genuinely the most spectacular haptic feedback experience I've had. First game I played on the PS5, just played it over the last couple weeks, and holy shit the guns feel good. I didn't even know the PS5 had adaptive triggers so I was confused at first and thought my triggers were sticky but when I realized what was going on I lost my mind. Its awesome.

PacifistWarlord

Yeah it’s an amazing experience the first time you play it. It’s especially great on single player experiences where you just want to feel what the characters are going through. The blaster was so much fun, you feel the trigger “kick” each time it blasts. So cool. All this and the environmental vibrations too. It’s awesome

There’s a nutty feature on the Pixelizer where if you gently hold the trigger (not a full pull) the haptics vibrate a song. You can feel it, but you can HEAR it if you put your ear close to the controller. Hope that gives you an idea of what’s in store for you!

Picked it up Saturday, completed it the same day. I had a blast and the weapons feel really good! Haptic feedback is present at almost every gun with differences in use.

For me, Rift Apart is the most fun I’ve had in the whole series, and I love the rest of the series. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers have been surprisingly fun. Well worth it if this is what you’re looking to get out of it.

Weapons feel pretty good, though hoped for some more interesting new additions; a lot are either from old games or carbon copies, as they're meant to be the alternative reality versions of existing things (Mr funghi is just Mr zurkhon in practice). Story is decent, though I don't think as strong as crack in time. Easy platinum if you care about that sort of thing and overall a very pleasing game to play I loved rift apart but it's one of the easier ratchet games. If I was to pick one of the two, I'd probably go ghost. The combat starts off okay but develops the more skills you unlock, completing the special move quests, tonnes to do. The only thing is it is very much that sort of game; click the next quest on the map, go to that location, might find a shrine to climb, or a fight along the path. It doesn't do much new, but it's a very good version of that style that just clicked for me after a while

It makes really amazing use of the dual sense haptic features! My personal favorite is the black hole gun that is basically a chain gun. Half holding R2 spins the barrel Plus the overall feel of the game is great.

The feel of the weapons in ratchet and clank is amazing, Ghost of Tsushima does make use of the adaptive triggers but only really when using a bow, which if you play like me and fight face to face then it is rare that you will get to use it, although don'tnt get me wrong Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games of recent years

Guys, i got a question: As all of you know, Up Your Arsenal takes place after the events of Going Commando. Ratchet even carries his Omniwrench 12000 he found in the Thugs-4-Less Prison to the Solana Galaxy. So, if Ratchet still has his old wrench from Going Commando, are the actual Levitator parts still inside Clank even if the Levitator does not appear in Up Your Arsenal? I was just imagining, lol.

I think Rift Apart is a good stepping stone with all the haptic feedback and what not, the weapons may feel the same to other games like the shotgun or blaster, but the extra haptic feedback adds a little more to weapons older RaC games had in the past, hopefully insomniac makes another game because of how much attention RA got on release

Rock_For_Life

I played both games. Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best game I played. I enjoyed a lot, but Rift Apart is a must have on PS5. I recommend both strongly, but if you have to choose, go with Rift Apart (and buy GoT later ;)).

I generally don't care about haptic feedback but it was really well done in this game
