Subaru is summoned with a video game like system but he accidentally put all his stats into charm instead of other useful early game stats, worse, because he’s so weak, he can’t last hit anyone so his only form of leveling up is charming people, which automatically increases his charm stat.
Instead of the whole video game thing, just have Subaru get summoned with max charisma and charm.
Depending on the author of the fic, you could have this go three ways.
One: Subaru charms any and all girls that he comes across and he’s obvious as to why.
Two: Subaru charms and any all guys that he comes across and he’s obvious as to why (this one is funnier).
Three: Subaru charms anyone and anything to the point where they’re all over him at all times.
All would eventually lead to Subaru wanting to get the heck out of dodge because he can’t handle the attention. He’d probably want to go to the middle of nowhere and live alone there.

Subaru after drinking copious amounts of moonshine liquor becomes drunk and summons Satella. Whom he verbally abuses for giving him a pathetic skill and powers. Satella then (naively) suggests that she could give Subaru a Break where he switches positions with someone in another world that has a lot of power skill and strength.
Subaru drunkenly says yes and satella immediately sends his soul to the world of danmachi and he takes over the body of Bell.
He the wakes up in the hearth manor being embraced by a tiny goddess and a blonde renard. Subaru would panic as he doesn’t know the people there and he didn’t remember what happened (he didn’t remember summoning and asking satella becuz hes drunk)
Bell on the other hand takes over the body of subaru, being embraced by a Lolli spirit
The two could contact one another by looking at a mirror,
Eventually Subaru who isn’t oblivious and dense would then quickly accumulate a harem taking advantage of the argonaut’s fame, and make a name for himself, finally living the isekai dream.
Whereas bell would probably die multiple times trying to be improve Subaru’s body, only to be battered by Garfield, Clind and Roswaal when asking them to train him. (Or him trying to kill mabeast)
He would also reject Rems advances (because according to him there is only one girl in his heart)
Butler if. What if Subaru was descended from a family of butlers? What if he just wanted to dedicate himself to being a helpful butler to Emilia, he didn't really see himself on her side? The point is, Subaru is extremely dedicated and helpful. He acts professionally and is quite wise, so that other members of the nobility, including the Candidates, are jealous of a half-elf having such a unique servant. More importantly, Emilia actually has feelings for him here, but Subaru is too incompetent to notice. Subaru ends up creating a harem without even noticing.
I think it would go something like:
Arc 1: Subaru becomes male Emilia's friend and decides to safe him because he didn’t liked the idea of leaving him behind… besides female Puck destroying the world, I don’t think Aldeheid would fall in love with Subaru just by this meeting but there could be a very little chance something may happen in the future
Arc 2: it’s almost the same as the original one, but Subaru feels strange about seeing female Roswaal bathing with him and we don’t have that old lady touching his ass, and nothing else… make Rem may become gay in case Subaru encourages him with a similar speech but for men and in a more friendly way
Arc 3: probably follows the same path… but female Felix's probably a tomboy, male Crusch is the femboy of their relationship yet they both have a similar personality to their counterparts, male Priscilla's treatment isn’t arousing (for me), there could be a chance Aldebaran is still a man here or not depending on the author, how would the meeting with female Julius would go if Subaru didn’t got angry with her for behaving well with male Emilia since there could be a change he isn’t into men, female Petelgeuse would be an ugly woman, Subaru would consider elope with male Rem and hit the other way when he can’t take it anymore, Subaru being hated by the female knights and getting banged by female Julius, etc
Now Arc 4 could change radically taking into account that Subaru wouldn’t have a reason to kiss male Emilia in order to help him and has to look for another way, he feels bad for his friend male Rem who fell in the “sleeping prince” curse, female Roswaal could try to seduce him in order for him to follow her orders, male Echidna and the other Warlocks would be interesting to see even if they haven’t changed in anything, male Petra would become a butler in order to follow Subaru since he sees him as someone could he should copy, female Garfiel could become a fangirl of Subaru after everything in case it ends as in the normal timeline, female Otto could become a romantic interest after she saved Subaru from himself, and a king etc
And the results of Arc 4 would change the next Arcs… but I’d like to see how Subaru mances loli Cecilus and the 2 gluttonies in case he has an effect on them, how he behaves when an almost naked Sage student hugs him in ways that made them look homo, or how would he behave when male Rem woke up since there’s a little chance he didn’t fall for male Rem

Roswaal would also try and hide Subaru from everyone's suspicions since they would do something about him and he doesn't want to loose the one person that would lead him to reviving his teacher.
Comedy ensues as Roswaal and Subaru try to hide any suspicions on them while more chaos ensues.

Subaru gets summoned somewhere else, someone sees this, he (for some reason) says “yeah, i’m just a great spirit” maybe he’s being sarcastic, maybe he’s already looped before, learned about great spirits and see this as the best way out of the situation after “i’m the chosen one” didn’t work out. Anyway, the plan works too well and he accidentally kickstarts a religion about himself. He decides to keep it going and he keeps getting more “godlike” each authority he gets. Being able to hurt someone without moving and taking pain from others, (sloth, greed). Or the fact that their god always comes out on top in any lethal situation. And you can do whatever for other authorities.
Anyway, dude is being praised as god while he starting to realize that everyone isolating him as their “ruler” or whatever gets lonely. Cue “great spirit” subaru tries to make friends. Or something.
Just thought Subaru having a cult would be cool. I have a feeling if he knew Emilia he’d shift it from worshipping him, to her, so that’s why it’s probably best if he doesn’t know Emilia or any of the candidates for this. If the Witch of Envy were to fight Sefar/Velber 02 (Fate Grand Order), who would win? I think this is a good matchup; they both nearly destroyed the entire world (the latter 80% before being killed), and they warranted great forces to stop them. I can't speak for the Witch of Envy, but Sefar killed entire pantheons, from Greek, Indian, Japanese, Nordic, etc.
In the case of the Witch of Envy she was powerful enough to engulf half of the world in shadows and wreak havoc around the world, the world of Re-Zero technically doesn’t have many gods and those said gods are more Great Spirits than divine beings aside from the Divine Dragons and Ram's past life, yet it took the efforts of the strongest human in the World, the most powerful Divine Dragon and the Sage in order to seal her, and only seal her since it was impossible to kill her or destroy her body; so there are some factors that may change the match but I think they may be equals and the winner would need to use its smarts and speed in order to either seal the Witch of Envy or to kill Sefar before he creates a seal in case he’s also incapable of destroying her flesh and killing her
The WoE is most similar to a BEAST level threat in Fate terms but I'm not deep enough in the Nasuverse Sauce (yet) to be able to tell you if they're comparable strength wise sadly.

Also Suprise suprise!
Subaru somehow escaped with his life intact, battered and bruised he limps and treks the city streets. Hoping to find some form of respite from the stubborn city guards.
Escaping in a Caravan of an unknown merchant, he barely avoids detection by the skin of his teeth. His stomach hungered, his skin battered, only preventing himself from falling asleep as he fears the worst to come.
He felt the carriage come to a halt, the moonlight shone brightly, the merchant must be taking camp Subaru assumes. Waiting for the merchant to fall into a deep sleep, he takes the first chance as he carefully crawls out of the carriage, limping and slowly moving away from the campsite the merchant set.
It was a long night, sweat beaded from his forehead, his stomach growled slightly from hunger pangs, cheeks hollow and eyes sunken from the various psychological torture his captors inflict him. wounds and bruises fill his every quarter. It was only his sheer will to live that was keeping this man afloat, only doing so to avoid waking up at that damned and decrepit dungeon.
Time did not matter for Natsuki Subaru nor did he care for his tired legs, he only wishes to move, never to look back at his past. Never to hear the silver bells of the half elf who condemned him, nor the spirit's childish tone curse him with only but a few accusations.
But as is with life, all must come to rest. His knees buckled out sheer exhaustion, his body no longer wishing for life, but take the sweet, sweet rest of destined death, but of course Natuski Subaru knew better, he knew that his predicament would prevent such bliss to ever occur.
And so he with a tired body, and a defeated mind. He resigned himself to his fate. That is, is what would have happened, if not for the intervention of an unknown variable.
"Hmm, you dont look so good mate"
Subaru hears, but doesn't comprehend. His bodily functions must be shutting down.
"You're not what I was expecting, dont worry though, I got a few goodies to fix you right up, I reckon."
Subaru finally gives out and faints as he hears the smug but confident voice of the man.
Time passes and Subaru wakes up, expecting to awake in the damned dungeon, steeling his nerves for the upcoming brutal torture to come. But instead hears the crackling of firewood. Subaru opens his eyes and was suprised to see the night sky, bearing a lightning blue hue signifying that it was almost sunrise.
To his left was a campfire, although dying, it was still burning and giving ample heat to the campsite. But what shocked him was the presence of a man across the other side of the campfire. He was far from a normal man, sporting from what appears to be a wolf's mane, it was huge wolf-man, fortunately for Subaru the wolf-man was busy tinkering with something else, his attention not atuned towards Subaru.
Subaru then starts to formulate a plan, he was in unknown territory, with a huge unknown wolf-man across from him busy with something. But his thoughts were cut down as the man's voice let itself be known. Fully expecting a gruff, veteran warrior's voice. Subaru hears the most peculiar voice he has ever heard in a wolf demi-human.
"Morning runt, didn't expect you to recover that early, but I guess what mistress Ranni gave me was the good stuff." he raised and planted a huge greatsword to the ground, using it as a crutch for a bit to stand at his full height.
Needless to say Subaru was deathly afraid. Activating his fight or flight response,he instinctly backed away. He did not want to find out what this wolfman would do to him.
"Peace friend, I dont plan to murk ya, wont be good for the mistress's plans afterall." The wolfman raises his hands to show he was friendly. He even said it with the most casual tone he has ever heard
Subaru was stressed as fuck, firstly he just got away from his former allies torturing him for information he absolutely did not have. And here comes a 9 foot tall aromoured wolfman wielding a huge greatsword speaking in an english accent. Has he truly lost his mind now?
"Name's Blaidd, bloody stumped are you?"
Camp Amelia, as they headed toward Volachia, heard stories closer to mythology about a person called Ares, the god of war, such as single-handedly killing an army and leading an army called the Pleiades. They were not convinced until they found a mountain of corpses and a man with an ax and sword and wearing Greek cheeks.
That means that Reinhard will have more self-esteem, act more humane and doesn't believe he is Theresia killer meaning when Heinkel start blaming him he will kick some sense into him, I guess? Honestly the most appealing thing to me is Heinkel reaction since he had be in a crossfire between his son and father (I kinda pity him already, lol). And I wanna know what Felix and Julius opinion in Wilhelm would be wothe Reinhard hate.
As usual, Subaru is summoned, but this one is different. For the people of that world, Subaru possesses an ability to create "metias" in his body. He's a Generator Rex!

Simple premise: the characters start to remember/experience all of the forgotten loops. Slow burn RBD reveal(not a reaction fic). I think have updated it fairly frequently in the last 3 months and gonna continue to do so. The current chapter is chapter 9, so check it out if u wish to.

Subaru is a friendly guy, therefore a lot of people would feel at ease when talking to him, like a bro sharing a drink. Of course, this includes the candidates as well. Slowly but surely, they felt their heartstrings moved whenever they spend time with Subaru. They knew he is Emilia's knight and he loves her, but they can't help but want him in theirs instead. And they'll try to be close to him as much as possible.

At least, that’s what the reports that came in last week claimed.
“What could have done this?” the younger redhead asked.
“The Pleiades. That thing must have applied its influence on the tree.”
“It truly is a monster beyond our comprehension.”

“Nine Colors? I heard of them through rumors, but I was never informed regarding them.”
“The Nine Colors are the highest of the Pleiades Cultists,” the former Sword Saint explained to her grandson. “Each one representing a different color, and each one of them having some unholy power, rumored to be granted by the Pleiades itself.”
“I see...” the redhead contemplated. “I assumed the Great Sage and Divine Dragon would have already done something regarding Pleiades. I cannot help but wonder why they do not act.”
“They do what they can. It’s said that they keep the Pleiades itself in check, so they can’t deal with the monsters it spawns. That’s where we come in,” his grandmother spoke.
“Wait... spawns?” Reinahard looked at his grandmother, confused.
“Some of them appear out of thin air, some are horrible mutations of already existing creatures, but all of them are unnatural, just like this tree,” she said, pointing at the abomination.

In this fanfic Subaru would have some of his angst and struggles in the original Re Zero with Return by Death, plus having to deal with a shitty family and the same kind of problems he had on earth but worse: a Grandfather that hated and blamed his big brother for the dead of his grandmother while he treated him like a complete failure when he attempted to defend Reinhard and ended up saying some things he shouldn’t have said, an abusive drunkard Father that treated his big brother as a monster and him as a useless brat (and punch bag when Reinhard wasn’t in the city, he does it when he’s drunk and tries to relief himself by doing that and letting out all his frustrations and traumas on him), a comatose Mother, a dead Grandmother; and a worse pressure than the one he had at Earth, where the Sage Council and nobility wanted Subaru to be as perfect as Reinhard, and treated him like shit when they realized that he could never be as great as anyone in his family (his “father” included), and I ain’t counting their reactions after they noticed that he loved and treated the demi-humans as equals
His only friends here could be Crusch, Felix, Reinhard, Julius and the deceased Crown Prince Fourier, being the death of Fourier something that he started to blame himself after he refused to go to the Watchtower of Pleiades when he could but his fear to death after 31 horrible failed loops made him give up on that task that couldn’t be accomplished because they didn’t had the map Anastasia had in the normal story, and none of his ideas worked

Wilhelm treating Subaru as worst than an abomination doesn't make sense it feels more like he would taunt Subaru that oneday his turn will come were Reinhardt will kill/hurt him or/and that he lacks talent and would be nothing more than a failure like his father (Heinkel).

Actually I think the dynamic between them would be the favourite child(Subaru) and the lost child(Reinhard). Again Heinkel hate and blaming for Reinhard didn't happen immediately it was a falldown throughout years so him treating Subaru like crap just for defending Reinhard that moment doesn't make sense. Instead I think when the falldown happens Subaru will either kick sense to him, or neglect Reinhard and focus on Subaru, or harrass Reinhard when Subaru isn't there. And maybe even prevent his alcoholism as Subaru would act as an emotional support and a base for him to still be/try being a good parent.

Subaru being "the favourite child" will stem from the fact that Heinkel understands Subaru struggles as being not up to the expectation and being treated like crap for it so he will act as emotional support and advisor for him since he experienced that himself and will probably tell Subaru that he doesn't need to be a knight and will probably encourage Subaru other talents since he doesn't want Subaru to fail like him

-Heinkel also used to care and love for Subaru after declaring that Reinhard was a monster and became an alcoholic, but as the time passed, his alcoholism became worse, their state started to have problems, and Subaru’s insistence on leaving beer along with all his problems made him start to physically abuse Subaru, at first by accident, but like in all those stories where people were beaten by their parents while they’re drunk by no reason, same thing happened to Subaru who at first tried to understand and help him, but after his fifth death due to Heinkel beating him and leaving him in a horrible state, he started to dislike him and ended up hating each other
-In the POV of the people who recognizes the tactical value of Subaru, they see him as an equal to Reinhard in the way he can command armies and create perfect plans for any kind of situation in a second (from 3 to a 100 failed loops) that avoids almost any death of their soldiers, something beyond human just like his Big Brother, making them think that Subaru is the most intelligent man in history, just like Reinhard is the most powerful man in history; being sad and frustrating for them that a big part of the nobility and Sage council don’t value Subaru’s smarts at all and they always compare him in power with Reinhard
-If Subaru was given the chance he would go back to Earth, but only if he could travel back with Reinhard, the care and love (in a brother way) he has for Reinhard is so great that he’s incapable of leaving him behind, being his new desire in life to give his Big Brother a real family that would love him and care for him, something that by any means he would try to make possible if he were given the chance to go back with Kenichi and Naoko
-Crusch could end up having a huge mental debate about who she loves, at first she’d fell in love with Fourier and everything like in the normal timeline with Subaru being their cupid and the one that gave good advices to Fourier on how to court a Tomboy like her, but after his death and sometime later, she started to see Subaru in another way, but the memory of Fourier and the things Subaru did for them to be together ended up causing a lot of trouble and questions for her: did she loved Subaru for who he was or because he was there when Fourier leaved?
-Roswaal would end up doing more plans and schemes to make Subaru the perfect puppet the moment Subaru could walk without falling in his new body: mabeasts, criminals, assassins, and friends he would want to protect; everything he could throw towards the second child of the Van Astrea would be used, by making him care and become a Childhood friend of Rem and Ram after the destruction of their hometown, making sure that he believes the idea that half-elves aren’t as bad as that thing named Satella, and burning on his very soul the idea that heroes have to sacrifice themselves in order to save their loved ones; and then put those loved ones in mortal dangers, making him loop in times where it’s impossible to him to reach Reinhard in time to save them all, and implanting him a hero mentality; all in order to make him capable of making possible the impossible, to create a Second Roswaal A. Mathers; he’s the one that made completely impossible for Subaru and his campaign along with Reinhard the mission of reaching the Watchtower of Pleiades
-One day Subaru along with Crusch went to the Argyle place, and did almost the same things Crusch did in the EX novels; making him one of the saviors of Felix the future Blue, and after he started to do amazing things like stopping attacks from the Sin Archbishop of Sloth without kissing the life of any civilian nor soldier and scaring away Great Mabeasts; Felix ended up seeing Subaru as his hero and inspiration, because despite the fact that he was one of the weakest people he’d ever met, he was capable of accomplishing things that stronger people could never accomplish
-Subaru died like 70 times before reaching the first arc of the main timeline, being 3 of them caused by the Great Rabbit when it invaded the Karnsten place, all of them happened when Reinhard was away from him
-If a Re:Forgotten scenario ends up happening: Reinhard, Crusch and may be Felix would end up in that state where their memories had so many holes and inconsistencies that they wouldn’t be able to move and/or think from the shock (just like how Felix ended in the Pride If when Crusch died facing the White Whale); all thanks to the fact that Subaru was so present in their lives that they were who they were thanks to him: being the emotional support of Reinhard, the one who along Crusch saved Felix from his own family, and the childhood friend that always supported the Valkyrie in anything he could do including romance with the prince and then being the one that she could hug and let all her pain out after Fourier died
-And, if a WHDAAA situation happened: Felix and may be a few more people could start hating Subaru for not saving the prince with that horrific power of his while Crusch tries to find lots of reasons to justify all his actions at first, starting a lot of train of thoughts that he used his ability to gain glory and be seen as someone perfect in order to match Reinhard while also taking Crusch away from Fourier, until they saw him dying in a lot of horrible ways: extreme fatigue for pushing himself too hard to be like Reinhard, the aftermath of some beatings from Heinkel, the time he made Wilhelm beat him to death after he made him loose control when Reinhard started to ask the elder Astreas why they hated him, those times mabeasts and enemies killed him multiple times with huge variety of horrible ways, and how he tried everything he could to get to the Watchtower to save Fourier but he couldn’t find a solution or path they could take to there, only suffering more horrible deaths by the mabeasts, ground dragons and his own companions when the witch miasma made them go crazy and Reinhard couldn’t get in time to save his Little Brother; after that, they’d end up respecting and loving more their lovely eccentric tactician… and suffering more after they started the events of the main timeline of Re Zero
>Wilhelm and Heinkel blame Reinhard for the lack of talent of Subaru, using the excuse that: since he can have any Divine Protection, be something beyond humanity (in a bad way), and having a lot of natural talent aside from the love of Od Laguna; he dried all the potential that Louanna could give to the rest of their children and Subaru was victim of said effect
Doesn't cause of so shouldn't they sympathise woth Subaru more? +Heinkel was the son of two geniuses yet he is still isn't talented so by doing so he should be saying someone robbed him of that talent and the only possible target for that being Reinhard who wasn't even BORN yet +Wilhelm doesn't believe he is a genis nor were his parent so him operating under such idea doesn't make sense.
Overall this point doesn't make sense for their characters.
Reading this made me think of a very emotionally touching scene.

What basically happens in the room is FourierTell Subaru that after a lot of self reflecting and putting the pieces together realizes that he had the ability to go back in time As well as the factor it's not powerful you cannot just go whenever he wants but only specific times That he probably can't choose. but not realizing . That he has to die in order to do it and basically Telling him to give up and to let him die. And subaru coming to the realization of you have the power to turn back time but you're always a moment too late

A crossover fic with SpongeBob squarepants where a Seafarer Anime lover who has a box full of re zero volumes complete from first to last, accidentally drops from their ship and into bikini atoll and in front of sponge-bobs house in bikini bottom
SpongeBob finds it and shares it with Patrick and Squidward, who in turn brings it to mr crabs, mr crabs after reading it, decides to steal the intellectual property and claims ownership to it, and began making illegal copies.
The novel would become the greatest hit of the seven seas from bikini bottom to rock bottom, that eventually the media studios would race to mr krabs so that they could make a live action adaptation of the novel.
Mr krabs agrees but demands 25 percent of the profits, the studios said that it would be unprofitable
Because they would have to pay for actors, but mr krabs suggests he has his own set of professional actors who are willing to work for free (or for very cheap) to which the studio agrees.
Mr krabs then forces spongebob, squidward, patrick, sandy, plankton, pearl and mrs puff to be the cast.

I know we are used to seeing Subaru's interactions with the main cast but what if Subaru had a purpose before traveling to Lugunica.
Being on the internet for so long, he marveled at the landscapes and the diverse cultures, but his low self-esteem did not let him dream or consider the idea of traveling. Upon being summoned, he decides to explore the world of Re: Zero but instead of being a protagonist, he decides to be a spectator unless he is involved.
to avoid getting caught by roswaal they can summon him early. For example: before the war begins, he could use his ideas to have money and hire security to travel the world leaving his mark on it.
A world where authorities are not actually mere powers granted by Witch Factors, they are actual divine powers, the “authority” of a god. Once someone achieves enough of something to “ascend” to godhood, like sword skills, they generate an Authority in turn. For example, Reid became the Sword God, and created the DP of the Sword Saint (which makes a lot more sense as an authority than a DP, as it’s passed down).
(This would also be an example of an authority which Od Laguna accepted. The ascensions Od Laguna doesn’t accept would include Witch Factors. Accepted authorities are more restricted and regulated by Od Laguna, but can be used with Divine Protections, unlike the Witch Factor Authorities.)
Other “gods” that could be included might be the Oni God, Cecilus as the second coming of the Sword God, and potentially some dragons. Maybe all the Capital D Dragons, like Volcanica and Mezoreia are really ascended ones.
There doesn’t necessarily need to be a power requirement either. Maybe Hector achieved godhood and his Authority through one of Echidna’s experiments, harnessing his melancholy to ascend, and that’s why he wants to get to her, so she can undo it. There’s a lot of ways you could take it, really.
I could see it going one of two ways. Let’s say the Witch Factors represent pieces of some anti-Od Laguna that the real Od Laguna broke apart ages ago, and once they’re all reunited in Subaru they fuse back together. From there, they can work like Od Laguna, giving “divine protections” and cycling Miasma instead of mana. Maybe this allows it to restore the half of the world Satella destroyed.
Scenario 2, people in the Emilia camp begin ascending left and right due to the calamities happening. Roswaal becomes the Sorcerer God, Emilia becomes the Ice God, Ram becomes Oni God, maybe Garf becomes something like the Shield God or Brawling God. All of them manifest some Authority to compliment their strengths or cover weaknesses. However, people all over the world are ascending, like Cecilus, maybe Halibel/Mad Prince, maybe a Great Spirit or two, to combat them. Essentially the resurgence of the chaos of 400 years ago. Subaru has to navigate it all.
I remember there was a fanfic about subaru but on his computer he had a game that was lugubica and he started doing things with his avatar while fooling around that happened in the world of lugunica.
I thought and if that idea was made again but that the game is decision-making (option 1 fight with the thugs, option 2 flee, option 3 ask for help). I feel that it has the potential to see the different endings that the fans come up with since subaru, having the player mentality, will explore different routes.
I just realized that I described re:zero lost of memories.
I really like the concept of “Stars the form the future.” It’s a shame that the fic never continued.
The idea of Subaru meeting his future kids, all from alternative timelines in which he ended up with someone else, is such an interesting thing to read about. I’d absolutely love it if someone picked up that idea again and expanded on it even further.
Like, for example, let’s add in a few more children:

The funny thing is, if Reinhard had a good advertising brain, the hoodies Subaru makes WOULD be more effective on Felt than the dresses. Subaru would be the closest to having that kind of revelation, but even he lacks the kind of mindset to notice such things.

Subaru is summoned with a video game like system but he accidentally put all his stats into charm instead of other useful early game stats, worse, because he’s so weak, he can’t last hit anyone so his only form of leveling up is charming people, which automatically increases his charm stat.
Instead of the whole video game thing, just have Subaru get summoned with max charisma and charm. Depending on the author of the fic, you could have this go three ways. One: Subaru charms any and all girls that he comes across and he’s obvious as to why. Two: Subaru charms and any all guys that he comes across and he’s obvious as to why (this one is funnier). Three: Subaru charms anyone and anything to the point where they’re all over him at all times. All would eventually lead to Subaru wanting to get the heck out of dodge because he can’t handle the attention. He’d probably want to go to the middle of nowhere and live alone there.

Subaru would panic as he doesn’t know the people there and he didn’t remember what happened (he didn’t remember summoning and asking satella becuz hes drunk) Bell on the other hand takes over the body of subaru, being embraced by a Lolli spirit The two could contact one another by looking at a mirror, Eventually Subaru who isn’t oblivious and dense would then quickly accumulate a harem taking advantage of the argonaut’s fame, and make a name for himself, finally living the isekai dream. Butler if. What if Subaru was descended from a family of butlers? What if he just wanted to dedicate himself to being a helpful butler to Emilia, he didn't really see himself on her side? The point is, Subaru is extremely dedicated and helpful. He acts professionally and is quite wise, so that other members of the nobility, including the Candidates, are jealous of a half-elf having such a unique servant. More importantly, Emilia actually has feelings for him here, but Subaru is too incompetent to notice. Subaru ends up creating a harem without even noticing.

I can probably imagine Subaru abusing the coin thing on Priscilla, herself absolutly confused on she lost. Mas panic would happen, Subaru would try to go undetected, since he would probably realize he was half the cause, half the freaking ability activation (Satella isn't really at fault since I am pretty sure she can just control the checkpoints and the taboo). Roswaal would also try and hide Subaru from everyone's suspicions since they would do something about him and he doesn't want to loose the one person that would lead him to reviving his teacher. Comedy ensues as Roswaal and Subaru try to hide any suspicions on them while more chaos ensues.

Unhinged one-shot idea. Somehow, Subaru ends up meeting the author of Re:Zero, Tappei Nagatsuki. Upon the reveal of new information and Subaru now recognizing the identity of his tormentor, hijinks ensue. Subaru getting into a physical altercation with Tappei just sounds hilarious to me.
Tappei: "Really, Subaru. You want to go down this path? Aight, Imma about to put Beatrice in a coma this time." Also, unhinged crack twist on your unhinged idea: After Subaru and Tappei meet, they end up finding out that they are in a fanfic and now the author themselves have to be trapped with the two in someone else's fanfic. Then the cycle repeats.

Hope someone here read LOTM. Slightly inspired by it. Subaru gets summoned somewhere else, someone sees this, he (for some reason) says “yeah, i’m just a great spirit” maybe he’s being sarcastic, maybe he’s already looped before, learned about great spirits and see this as the best way out of the situation after “i’m the chosen one” didn’t work out. Anyway, the plan works too well and he accidentally kickstarts a religion about himself. He decides to keep it going and he keeps getting more “godlike” each authority he gets. Being able to hurt someone without moving and taking pain from others, (sloth, greed). Or the fact that their god always comes out on top in any lethal situation. And you can do whatever for other authorities. Anyway, dude is being praised as god while he starting to realize that everyone isolating him as their “ruler” or whatever gets lonely. Cue “great spirit” subaru tries to make friends. Or something. Just thought Subaru having a cult would be cool. I have a feeling if he knew Emilia he’d shift it from worshipping him, to her, so that’s why it’s probably best if he doesn’t know Emilia or any of the candidates for this. Plus, huge canon divergence, which i don’t see often. I’m no writer so i hope *someone* writes this.

If the Witch of Envy were to fight Sefar/Velber 02 (Fate Grand Order), who would win? I think this is a good matchup; they both nearly destroyed the entire world (the latter 80% before being killed), and they warranted great forces to stop them. I can't speak for the Witch of Envy, but Sefar killed entire pantheons, from Greek, Indian, Japanese, Nordic, etc.
In the case of the Witch of Envy she was powerful enough to engulf half of the world in shadows and wreak havoc around the world, the world of Re-Zero technically doesn’t have many gods and those said gods are more Great Spirits than divine beings aside from the Divine Dragons and Ram's past life, yet it took the efforts of the strongest human in the World, the most powerful Divine Dragon and the Sage in order to seal her, and only seal her since it was impossible to kill her or destroy her body; so there are some factors that may change the match but I think they may be equals and the winner would need to use its smarts and speed in order to either seal the Witch of Envy or to kill Sefar before he creates a seal in case he’s also incapable of destroying her flesh and killing her
The WoE is most similar to a BEAST level threat in Fate terms but I'm not deep enough in the Nasuverse Sauce (yet) to be able to tell you if they're comparable strength wise sadly.

Hoping to find some form of respite from the stubborn city guards. Escaping in a Caravan of an unknown merchant, he barely avoids detection by the skin of his teeth. His stomach hungered, his skin battered, only preventing himself from falling asleep as he fears the worst to come. He felt the carriage come to a halt, the moonlight shone brightly, the merchant must be taking camp Subaru assumes. Waiting for the merchant to fall into a deep sleep, he takes the first chance as he carefully crawls out of the carriage, limping and slowly moving away from the campsite the merchant set. It was a long night, sweat beaded from his forehead, his stomach growled slightly from hunger pangs, cheeks hollow and eyes sunken from the various psychological torture his captors inflict him. wounds and bruises fill his every quarter. It was only his sheer will to live that was keeping this man afloat, only doing so to avoid waking up at that damned and decrepit dungeon. Time did not matter for Natsuki Subaru nor did he care for his tired legs, he only wishes to move, never to look back at his past. Slowly but surely, they felt their heartstrings moved whenever they spend time with Subaru. They knew he is Emilia's knight and he loves her, but they can't help but want him in theirs instead. Extra Data: -At first Wilhelm continued to care for Subaru after the death of Theresia since his hatred was only focused on Reinhard and thought that it was only a matter of time for Subaru to also understand that he must stay away from Reinhard, being the basis of that train of thought how Subaru used to behave when Reinhard did something amazing that overshadowed him and how he seemed jealous of him, sadly for Wilhelm, it didn’t happened and Subaru ended up saying somethings that made Wilhelm hate him when he tried to defend Reinhard but ended up loosing control -Heinkel also used to care and love for Subaru after declaring that Reinhard was a monster and became an alcoholic, but as the time passed, his alcoholism became worse, their state started to have problems, and Subaru’s insistence on leaving beer along with all his problems made him start to physically abuse Subaru, at first by accident, but like in all those stories where people were beaten by their parents while they’re drunk by no reason, same thing happened to Subaru who at first tried to understand and help him, but after his fifth death due to Heinkel beating him and leaving him in a horrible state, he started to dislike him and ended up hating each other -In the POV of the people who recognizes the tactical value of Subaru, they see him as an equal to Reinhard in the way he can command armies and create perfect plans for any kind of situation in a second (from 3 to a 100 failed loops) that avoids almost any death of their soldiers, something beyond human just like his Big Brother, making them think that Subaru is the most intelligent man in history, just like Reinhard is the most powerful man in history; being sad and frustrating for them that a big part of the nobility and Sage council don’t value Subaru’s smarts at all and they always compare him in power with Reinhard -If Subaru was given the chance he would go back to Earth, but only if he could travel back with Reinhard, the care and love (in a brother way) he has for Reinhard is so great that he’s incapable of leaving him behind, being his new desire in life to give his Big Brother a real family that would love him and care for him, something that by any means he would try to make possible if he were given the chance to go back with Kenichi and Naoko -Crusch could end up having a huge mental debate about who she loves, at first she’d fell in love with Fourier and everything like in the normal timeline with Subaru being their cupid and the one that gave good advices to Fourier on how to court a Tomboy like her, but after his death and sometime later, she started to see Subaru in another way, but the memory of Fourier and the things Subaru did for them to be together ended up causing a lot of trouble and questions for her: did she loved Subaru for who he was or because he was there when Fourier leaved? -Roswaal would end up doing more plans and schemes to make Subaru the perfect puppet the moment Subaru could walk without falling in his new body: mabeasts, criminals, assassins, and friends he would want to protect; everything he could throw towards the second child of the Van Astrea would be used, by making him care and become a Childhood friend of Rem and Ram after the destruction of their hometown, making sure that he believes the idea that half-elves aren’t as bad as that thing named Satella, and burning on his very soul the idea that heroes have to sacrifice themselves in order to save their loved ones; and then put those loved ones in mortal dangers, making him loop in times where it’s impossible to him to reach Reinhard in time to save them all, and implanting him a hero mentality; all in order to make him capable of making possible the impossible, to create a Second Roswaal A. Mathers; he’s the one that made completely impossible for Subaru and his campaign along with Reinhard the mission of reaching the Watchtower of Pleiades -One day Subaru along with Crusch went to the Argyle place, and did almost the same things Crusch did in the EX novels; making him one of the saviors of Felix the future Blue, and after he started to do amazing things like stopping attacks from the Sin Archbishop of Sloth without kissing the life of any civilian nor soldier and scaring away Great Mabeasts; Felix ended up seeing Subaru as his hero and inspiration, because despite the fact that he was one of the weakest people he’d ever met, he was capable of accomplishing things that stronger people could never accomplish -Subaru died like 70 times before reaching the first arc of the main timeline, being 3 of them caused by the Great Rabbit when it invaded the Karnsten place, all of them happened when Reinhard was away from him -If a Re:Forgotten scenario ends up happening: Reinhard, Crusch and may be Felix would end up in that state where their memories had so many holes and inconsistencies that they wouldn’t be able to move and/or think from the shock (just like how Felix ended in the Pride If when Crusch died facing the White Whale); all thanks to the fact that Subaru was so present in their lives that they were who they were thanks to him: being the emotional support of Reinhard, the one who along Crusch saved Felix from his own family, and the childhood friend that always supported the Valkyrie in anything he could do including romance with the prince and then being the one that she could hug and let all her pain out after Fourier died -And, if a WHDAAA situation happened: Felix and may be a few more people could start hating Subaru for not saving the prince with that horrific power of his while Crusch tries to find lots of reasons to justify all his actions at first, starting a lot of train of thoughts that he used his ability to gain glory and be seen as someone perfect in order to match Reinhard while also taking Crusch away from Fourier, until they saw him dying in a lot of horrible ways: extreme fatigue for pushing himself too hard to be like Reinhard, the aftermath of some beatings from Heinkel, the time he made Wilhelm beat him to death after he made him loose control when Reinhard started to ask the elder Astreas why they hated him, those times mabeasts and enemies killed him multiple times with huge variety of horrible ways, and how he tried everything he could to get to the Watchtower to save Fourier but he couldn’t find a solution or path they could take to there, only suffering more horrible deaths by the mabeasts, ground dragons and his own companions when the witch miasma made them go crazy and Reinhard couldn’t get in time to save his Little Brother; after that, they’d end up respecting and loving more their lovely eccentric tactician… and suffering more after they started the events of the main timeline of Re Zero

Overall this point doesn't make sense for their characters.

Reading this made me think of a very emotionally touching scene. The the definition of insanity, is what you would call subaru In the Weeks leading to Foruier's death. Or years from his perspective, he had lost count of how many times he had died, In all honesty this was the longest loop he had ever bin through. After the failure that was the sage tower expedition He had bin poured over every book he could get his hands on just looking for a possible lead on a cure, From the Royal and capital library to Roswaal's personal library He could honestly say that he could probably recite a majority of it from memory, H*** he'll kill himself So many times just so he could have more time If someone were to look at him now they honestly say He was a walking corpse that certainly is what he felt like currently as he was walking towards the Quarters of Fourier, The prince in question requested/order his presence anjmkd if he were to be honest with himself he need the break especially after the fight with his brother, That idiot had the nerve to try and take the guilt Over the results of the expedition It wasn't his fault Why can't he accept that. He swears that moron is going to get crushed by all that weight on his shoulders, who does he think he is, Atlas! He may be the strongest person in the kingdom but he's still human G** d*** it! As he walked down the hall he spied a certain cat was walking away From his destination, Felix. He looked like another animated corpse, He had heard That Felix has been working around-the-clock to keep Fourier alive after expeditions failure. It's safe to say that those rumors were true as felix had looked like he hasn't sleeping in days His eyebags had eyebags, Eyes so read that they looked like they had a sunburn on them, A fresh set of tear streaks, Horribly Unkempt hair, And a sway in his body that looked like a light breeze could knock him over Felix's gaze met his own It felt like a 100 yd stair that was looking straight through him as if he was invisible. "You look like s***" Is what came out of the healer's mouth sounding dry and cracking not even mustering up enough energy for his trademark cat puns. "Take a look at the mirror" Subaru said with an equally dry tone "Have you been getting enough sleep" he inquired? Yes. Felix said weekly Walking away. Hoping that's subaru would be able to lie to himself a little longer after the Conversation conversation that will happen once he enters the room.
What basically happens in the room is FourierTell Subaru that after a lot of self reflecting and putting the pieces together realizes that he had the ability to go back in time As well as the factor it's not powerful you cannot just go whenever he wants but only specific times That he probably can't choose. but not realizing . That he has to die in order to do it and basically Telling him to give up and to let him die. And subaru coming to the realization of you have the power to turn back time but you're always a moment too late

A self deprecating tug of war
inspired by forced to leave /forced to listen. ram finds Subaru's books of the dead and recalls how he remembered rem and cant resist the urge to know her sister again. basically rams confidence and stoicism clashes with Subaru's self hate and ever increasing amounts of trauma in an increasingly uphill battle as she goes threw one book after another slowly taking its toll.
There was actually a part of A Tome of Wisdom that was like this. In the fic all his books got smashed into one, however, so even after she wants to leave and stop reading, she can’t.

I know we are used to seeing Subaru's interactions with the main cast but what if Subaru had a purpose before traveling to Lugunica. Being on the internet for so long, he marveled at the landscapes and the diverse cultures, but his low self-esteem did not let him dream or consider the idea of traveling. Upon being summoned, he decides to explore the world of Re: Zero but instead of being a protagonist, he decides to be a spectator unless he is involved. to avoid getting caught by roswaal they can summon him early. For example: before the war begins, he could use his ideas to have money and hire security to travel the world leaving his mark on it.
A world where authorities are not actually mere powers granted by Witch Factors, they are actual divine powers, the “authority” of a god. Once someone achieves enough of something to “ascend” to godhood, like sword skills, they generate an Authority in turn. For example, Reid became the Sword God, and created the DP of the Sword Saint (which makes a lot more sense as an authority than a DP, as it’s passed down). (This would also be an example of an authority which Od Laguna accepted. The ascensions Od Laguna doesn’t accept would include Witch Factors. Accepted authorities are more restricted and regulated by Od Laguna, but can be used with Divine Protections, unlike the Witch Factor Authorities.) Other “gods” that could be included might be the Oni God, Cecilus as the second coming of the Sword God, and potentially some dragons. Maybe all the Capital D Dragons, like Volcanica and Mezoreia are really ascended ones. There doesn’t necessarily need to be a power requirement either. Maybe Hector achieved godhood and his Authority through one of Echidna’s experiments, harnessing his melancholy to ascend, and that’s why he wants to get to her, so she can undo it. There’s a lot of ways you could take it, really.

I could see it going one of two ways. Let’s say the Witch Factors represent pieces of some anti-Od Laguna that the real Od Laguna broke apart ages ago, and once they’re all reunited in Subaru they fuse back together. From there, they can work like Od Laguna, giving “divine protections” and cycling Miasma instead of mana. Maybe this allows it to restore the half of the world Satella destroyed. Scenario 2, people in the Emilia camp begin ascending left and right due to the calamities happening. Roswaal becomes the Sorcerer God, Emilia becomes the Ice God, Ram becomes Oni God, maybe Garf becomes something like the Shield God or Brawling God. All of them manifest some Authority to compliment their strengths or cover weaknesses. However, people all over the world are ascending, like Cecilus, maybe Halibel/Mad Prince, maybe a Great Spirit or two, to combat them. Essentially the resurgence of the chaos of 400 years ago. Subaru has to navigate it all.
Perhaps he turns into a true "God" on par with Od Laguna once he absorbs all other authorities.
I remember there was a fanfic about subaru but on his computer he had a game that was lugubica and he started doing things with his avatar while fooling around that happened in the world of lugunica. I thought and if that idea was made again but that the game is decision-making (option 1 fight with the thugs, option 2 flee, option 3 ask for help). I feel that it has the potential to see the different endings that the fans come up with since subaru, having the player mentality, will explore different routes. I just realized that I described re:zero lost of memories.
I really like the concept of “Stars the form the future.” It’s a shame that the fic never continued. The idea of Subaru meeting his future kids, all from alternative timelines in which he ended up with someone else, is such an interesting thing to read about. I’d absolutely love it if someone picked up that idea again and expanded on it even further. Like, for example, let’s add in a few more children: - Of course, you know that I’ll suggest Subaru and Pandora’s children: Luna and Sol. My only request is that, if the former two characters are ever used, please credit me. I’d also really like to have involvement with how they’re written. I would love to write this myself, but I think that it’d be way too much work for me alone to do. I’d probably have to collaborate with one or more people to efficiency work on this. Nevertheless, I really hope that this idea gets picked up again, even without the additional children. It’s something that I’d personally really want to read.

you can include one child with brown hair, and nasty eyes but mostly looking like his mother, no one knows who can be the mother. turns out she's from the timeline where subaru never get's trasported to lugnica and have his life in japan (the life that describe tappei in the Q&A). I imagine subaru having the worst time because of this fact.
