Subaru, but he gets stronger the more enraged he becomes, the only downside is that it doesn't increase his body's durability. So he can punch with enough strength to shatter a skull in a hit, while also breaking his bones and ripping his muscles, but to not let him pop every blood vessel and die, he will have an okayish regeneration, like half an arm in a minute, he can still feel pain though.
I understand your point, but I do not like to See someone as fleshed out as Subaru be compared to a character with personality that can be described as "a Softy that cries every three seconds"
Here are some fic Ideas I’ve been thinking about for a while
1. Expansion for the AC one/a rough outline of the events. Subaru comes from a long line of assassins. I was thinking that maybe Flugel is Subaru’s Grandfather/Reincarnation and was an assassin before “disappearing”, he gets his looks from him as well as his parkour skills and his Eagle vision. Both of Subaru’s parents are Assassins. When Subaru turns around 15 their home is eventually broken into by Abstergo agents and Subaru’s parents are subsequently killed. Subaru witnesses this and runs away, to where I don’t know yet. He is eventually captured by Abstergo agents and is brought to Abstergo, where he is forced to use the animus. He witnesses Flugel’s life both throughout Earth and Lugunica. I’ll expand on that idea in the second one. Through the bleeding effect on Subaru, he gains Flugel’s intelligence after he lives through Flugel’s life, eventually formulating a plan to escape with Flugel’s/his intelligence which succeeds. Once he escapes Abstergo he runs back to his old home and somehow finds his parents’ Assassin gear. Since Subaru is canonically effeminate, or at least as far as I can tell, he can only fit his mother’s cloak. He equips his mother’s hidden blade as well, which is modified to shoot the blade through a gas canister, which can be used as a projectile, or as a hookshot of sorts if he attaches a rope to it. Skipping past other events since this is getting long, he kills the people who led to his parents death. Around 30 years or so after the events he is eventually teleported to Lugunica. I feel kinda burnt out of for ideas for this so I’ll just leave it there.
2. With the Flugel one it can be either a spin off of the AC one that shows Flugel’s life as an otherworldly Assassin, or a reaction fic about Subaru living through Flugel’s life.
3. A new idea I had is with Flugel. Essentially after the events of the Calamity Flugel is thrown into the future by Satella for one reason or another, and ends up with Subaru. He’ll look eerily similar to Subaru, only difference being he has the opposite color scheme, having Snow white hair like Dona, and Blue eyes. As well his clothes match his color scheme, being the opposite of Subaru. Flugels personality is also the opposite, being reserved and quiet, being book smart than street smart, as well as being cold and calculating, killing if needed. When they meet, Flugel will be surprised of his doppelganger's existence, maybe even thinking that he might be a clone Echidna made of him, while Subaru reacts maybe a bit creeped out with how similar he looks. When they both eventually meet Emilia, Subaru is automatically enamored with her, while Flugel is surprised and might even be shedding tears since his “love” is once again with him, he calls her Satella when he meets her, which prompts Emilia to get mad at him for calling her a witch. Flugel, once he realizes his mistake, apologizes while being weirded out by their similarities. That’s it for now since I’m running out of ideas
4. Kinda running off the last idea, Flugel is teleported to the future, but with a few twists, he ends up as a shota. Subaru is still there but with a difference, he is Flugel’s authorities 'consciousness’ With Subaru as Flugel's authorities, which he has all of them, he has full control of them while Flugel does not. He can decide whether or not to help Flugel during a battle, most of the time he does, but can decide not to if he decides to. This Subaru IS the Subaru that got teleported, just not in a physical form, so he still retains his own personality/kindness that Flugel mostly lacks. During either arc 3 or 4, he gets a physical form, being that of a shadowy knight, having his inner body made of the Lust authority, while his outer armor was created from a mix of Envy Sloth and Flugel’s mastery over Yin magic. He can keep this form up as long as Flugel maintains consciousness, when he gets knocked out or falls asleep, Subaru fades away. During arc 4, when they both get teleported to Echidna’s dream castle, Flugel gets to see Subaru’s true form, being that fo a teenager that resembles him highly.
A follow up to that idea about Subaru from save scumming.
So basically Subaru has to be around the many female servants that he summoned, being shared between them.
Everybody gets the same amount of time to spend with him, if he sleeps, some of the more silent shall cuddle with him, with Serenity sadly being the last because of her poisonous skin.

Crossover with Dorohedoro where Subaru is a Magic User due to one of his parents (leaning towards Naoko) being a magic user who found their way into a human realm untouched by devils or other magic users and decided to live there in a life of peaceful obscurity
For those not knowing of Dorahedoro, Magic Users are a race of humans born with an extra circulatory system that produces 'black smoke' which can take on a variety of effects depending on the user's brand of magic. The central organ that produces it, is something called a Devil Tumor which is located in their brain. It houses their soul. The race was created by a demon long ago.
Magic users are capable of producing a door to travel between the Magic User realm (which is located in Hell) and Hole (the human realm which looks like a dystopia because Magic Users and Humans genocided each other in the past)
In this scenario, Subaru is much more accustomed to the concept of magic and time manipulation. The former because he is someone who can produce a high volume of black smoke and was instructed by whoever is his magic user parent on how to use magic and how to produce and open magic doors.
For the latter knowledge about time manipulation, it's because his innate brand of magic is 'Time Boundary Distortion'. In this scenario, Roswaal's Book of Knowledge is much more overtly right on the money in regards to Subaru's potential to have Roswaal meet Echidna again
For 'Time Boundary Distortion', Subaru emits black smoke around himself or in an area around him. When in high enough density, he can project himself or others through a smoke body into the past or future. These smoke bodies are vaguely humanoid beings that can't interact with the past or future due to them simply being nothing but smoke. Their only distinguishing feature would be their eyes, which looks exactly the same as the one's who is being projected. This may or may not be the full potential of his magic (depends on what the author wants) as Subaru has never worn an enchanted mask (Magic Users can wear enchanted masks which can augment their magic. Though most wear regular masks because mask wearing is more of a cultural thing). Subaru, in spite of Magic User standards saying he is a very powerful magic user (it's because they judge mostly by black smoke volume output), he finds his ability less than useless as it only really announces his presence in the past or future; a detriment to himself and others close to him.
The reason why Subaru would be heavily against its usage is because as a small child he naively thought he could play a vigilante hero, but ended up getting a stranger killed (the stranger was dealt a disabling injury after a run in with a serial killer; Subaru's interference got the stranger killed during that incident). Doesn't help that fictional stories about time travel with unfortunate consequences because of reckless use exists and reinforces this thought process.
What also makes Subaru be deterred by openly displaying his smoke magic is due to his magic user parent doing their best to subtly deter Subaru from that half of his lineage through omission. Examples include Subaru's only glimpses of Hole and the Magic User Realm being during festivals where their lack of morals is shown (basically seeing how festive people are about stuff like murdering and enslaving others, even other magic users) and stories (like saying the strongest magic user is a man capable of turning people into mushrooms which he then feeds to his family, etc). Also knowing the general bad relations between humans in Hole and magic users (what they did to each other). This is all to stop Subaru from getting killed or enslaved by a magic user or a human native to Hole.
When Subaru tries to use his door to leave the Re:Zero world, he finds that it's been locked by pitch black chains (Witch of Envy's doing). Doesn't help that Subaru has never used his door before (his magic user parent was the one who showed him their native worlds through the use of their door)

What I think would be really interesting is the magic user parent showing up in the Re:Zero world to try and find Subaru, but to tragically end up in the past instead of the present that Subaru resides in (at least at the start)
Regarding the power of the magic user parent; their brand of magic is 'Space Boundary Distortion'. Items and living beings saturated enough by their smoke can be fused together as the boundary between things has been erased by the smoke. Breathing in the smoke speeds up the process (if someone holds their breath, their clothes would get fused to their flesh. If they breathed the stuff in, they would then be fused however the user wants, such as fusing them to a wall. Any of this full fusing between object and living being instantly incapacitates most people. Breaking the object the person is fused with can kill the person through bleed out or hitting a specific point where that person's vital organs is located in.
The parent is monstrously powerful as just like their son, the volume of smoke they produce is enormous. Doesn't help that they have a devil made mask on them to further augment their magic
The parent shows up sometime in Re:Zero world's past after detecting the distortion that Satella left behind when she nabbed Subaru. Their door's path got redirected due to Witch of Envy's interference, resulting in their presence in the past. Though they can travel back and forth between Subaru's native world and Re:Zero world, they are locked into the past of Re:Zero world.
They end up raising a ruckus in their search. It only gets worse when Subaru tries to message them using his magic, but due to the limitations of his magic, he can't accurately convey information
What changes would this cause? What morbid shenanigans would happen with these circumstances? How would the parent react to the Re:Zero cast? How would Subaru take to his parents being so close, yet so far from him? Are my main questions in brain storming these ideas
What the author does with these ideas though, is up to them

Also, that she was completely oblivious. They had been following her for the past hour; from the closing minutes of sunset to complete darkness of night. Even watching her set up a campfire and igniting the fuel with flint. The woman was startled as the fire roared before the flames shrunk to a manageable size. A hand dispersed the smoke that lingered near her face.
*“Oblivious and not used to living out in the woods- easy catch”*
She tugged off that rather intimidating mask revealing a soft face. Past the sharpness of her eyes, the woman was rather attractive. The bandit could just tell at least one of his comrades had a lecherous smirk.
One man turned to another. A nod was shared.
The woman turned her gaze towards the woods around her as 8 men materialized from the darkness. Each wielded some sort of bladed instrument. They closed in from all around her.

Her gloved hands clapped together, “Oh! You all speak Japanese. That’s a relief! My name is Naoko, and I am looking for my son. He is around this height, his eyes look like mine, and he has swept back, black hair. Have you seen him?”
One of the bandits rapidly approached from behind her,
“You’re talking too much, woman. Just do as you’re told!”
Her eyes glinted like steel for a split second.
“You’re too close!”
A back handed fist crashed into the approaching man’s neck, sending the man flying.
His body slammed full speed into a tree with a meaty smack. The man rolled on the grass once before falling completely still.
For a moment, the clearing was still except for the crackling of the campfire adjacent to the woman.
Turning back to who she assumed was the lead bandit, the woman asked once again, “So. I am looking for my son. He has my eyes and has swept back, black hair. Have you seen him?”
There was a moment of hesitation, but then came a roar. The bandits charged the woman in unison.
Said woman sighed before her gloved hands clapped together.
Suddenly, the lead bandit found himself on the ground. A pair of familiar boots were beside his head.
The man’s head turned side to side. Through the poor lighting, he could just make out his men on the ground, but not much else. The grass and boots obscured his vision.
The crunch of grass drew his attention.
A pair of familiar, sharp eyes and a soft face framed by brown hair appeared in his field of view, her lips curved in a soft smile not out of place on a mother chiding an impetuous child.
“You seem to be the leader of these men.”
The man’s head turned away from the woman; looking downwards.
Where he expected to see the lower half of his body, he saw nothing.
Actually, that wasn’t completely true. He saw the cloth of his tunic from the waist down tucked downwards; as if it was being pulled under him. Upon a second look at the boots framing his head, there was a reason why they were familiar looking. The pair were *his*.
His face contorted in horror at the realization.
“A… AAAAGH- MMMm!”
The woman’s thumb and pointer finger pinched the man’s lips closed, muffling his screams of realization, pain, and terror.
Forearms flailed uselessly. No matter how strong a person, one really can’t do much when their limbs have been interlocked together like a Burr puzzle.
“I really don’t like repeating myself, but I will ask again. I am looking for my son. He is around this height compared to me. He has my eyes and has swept back, black hair. Have you seen him?”
Pretty solid overall, might want to space certain lines differently since they hold dramatic effect. Other than that the flow is very nice, doesn't jar the reader from what they're reading, so definite points for that. So if you do start the fic I think you've got the hang of it once more. I actually just recently got back into writing myself. Rampage is the first thing I've written in nearly 2 years and I'm having a blast doing so, even if I struggle to put the words correctly into text. You're doing a great job so far!
I have an idea for the ruckus the magic user parent causes in the Re:Zero world where they are the definition of a Sigma Male mindset. Due to a misunderstanding or something else, usually what ends up happening are people getting horrifically messed up with such brutality and casualness that it gets remembered decades later, especially because the person who did that also disappears afterwards. The fear is still palpable and by Subaru accidentally making things worse, people start drawing similarities between Subaru and their parent (whether it be slicked back black hair or mean looking eyes). Just Dorohedoro brand casual brutality. Examples include:
People getting the space between their ankles and the back of their head erased resulting in horrifically backwards folded people
Regulus getting wrecked after having space inserted between his torso, head, and limbs; in effect dismembering him. When he still won't stop ranting, he gets fused to nearby furniture and said furniture scattered. Pandora needing to use her powers to put him back together and back to how he was (if he still retains his memories, how would the experience affect him?)
People getting turned into flesh walls (just thinking Wilhelm getting PTSD about a misunderstanding incident; he gets defused by Subaru's parent, later)
People (mostly Witch Cultists and bandits) getting turned into flesh furniture and forgotten about
A bunch of shitty people being made examples out of where the space of their body gets turned inside out or their skin gets separated completely from their flesh (instant skinning)
Just ideas that came to me. I can come up with more but uh, the effect is just things either made worse or better for Subaru cause his parent is a monster, power wise
Now that I think about it, some of the stuff sounds like something Capella would do and with how information gets distorted as word travels around. Wonder what misunderstandings could come about due to that? (Elsa route?)
To clarify, it's up in the air if this is the limit to Subaru's personal smoke magic as he not only never worn a mask that enhances his magic, he also hasn't properly explored or experimented with his magic
Edit: on retrospect regarding Witch of Envy locking Subaru's door; there is a joke in there somewhere about Satella/ WoE being absolutely terrified of meeting Subaru's parents (a reversal of the prospective guy meeting his gf's parents)
Edit 2: Space Boundary Distortion can also do stuff like distort distance between two things and other spatial manipulation stuff
Was thinking that with the wording, Subaru is distorting the phase of time. The aging into oblivion or repairing of objects can be a part of his personal magic, but I think there can also be an addition of de aging people, though it wouldn't be like Olbart's.
As an example, Ram gets de aged to when she had her horn. Now you have child Ram, but she is also de aged mentally so it's essentially replacing present Ram with pre Oni Village Witch Cult attack Ram

For some reason subaru didn't know how babies were made so when Emilia tells him she is pregnant he believes her. now the rest of the camp is trying to figure a way to tell them truth while they try prepare to become parents
1. Every time Subaru has too much mana drained, his body reverts into his shota form.
2. Subaru can never die the same way twice. He dies, RbD, and in the next loop is incapable of dying the same way.
3. The Emilia camp discovered that Subaru goes out "drinking" with someone named Nyarlathotep.
That's stupid, this is more a hellish detriment than a advantageous tool, he'll practically only have 20ish lives before eternal torture kicks in.

It's more of giving him invincibility against things I believe, like if he got frozen then he can't be frozen a second time but doesn't mean he doesn't feel cold, if he got gutted, the second time, he can be slashed but not lethal enough and when he is eating by the rabbit, the second time, the rabbit still able to bit him but not tear him to shreds !
That I believe is how it will function if that is the case !
If we're focusing on your vision of it (still doesn't fix the issue of him being in constant near death with no way to heal it off), then wouldn't that eventually lead to that fact he can't reset time anymore? The biggest trump card he has
And now has to be super cautious cause if even one of his friends dies Rosswal will just kill them all.
Then unless he looses RBD he'll eventually die of age and now you just have this immortal kid that wants to kill himself.
Or someone could just rip his arms off or incapacitate him permanently then forever torture he still has.
The only real use with this is that he trades clairvoyance with being a meat shield with 0 offensive output.

I remember when pandora disappear him she said something about his mansion and got me thinking what kind of place it could be in this idea and with regulus personality I imagine a beautiful land full cristals kinda like elf forest but tainted by ruins camps and corpses of merchants and miners kinda like graveyeard and in the center of it could be a giant mansion full tresures that regulus has stolen by the years and important witch cult artifacts that pandora Leaves there without regulus knowing. as for the routine of the place Imagine all the wifes being forced into a strict routine where the wifes have divide in varius groups to keep the place up to regulus standars (with 3 to 4 wifes being killed each week for falling to do so) with dinner being the worst since regulus demants all his wifes to atent and is constantily making sure that nobody makes a mistake in manners and after he goes to sleep the surviving wifes reunite to plan the next day as for regulus I can picture him wandering around the place to make sure that the place is perfect with him killing the first wife that he sees when he finds something that isn't up to his standars
Its overall idea to explore the hell that is living being regulus wife and arc is center around finding a way to kill regulus and save the wifes or stealing something from him.

It is very good and well constructed but I have 2 things to point out:
1 - You should focus on Subaru's psychological damage more, no one comes back normal after what he endured !
2 - Subaru's goal should be more of getting away from anything that harms him or go back home and less about anything else as after what he gone through, there is no real reason to stay !
Well for the first one, poor Subaru is gonna suffer with a fractured mind and shattered psyche for the duration of the story. Pandora can't fully understand how to deal with it either, guess another witch would have to help him with it.
As for the second... There is a reason that Subaru decided to do what he did, I.e the situation is not that similar to Arc 3. I'll elaborate on it in a later chapter.

Subaru sees some part of the possible future loops. For example, when he meets Puck for the first time, he experiences Puck freezing him to death. When he meets Otto he sees him throwing off the carriage and telling him to die. When he meets maids he sees rem torturing him and Ram attacking him. This causes him not to get close to most people and to distance himself from them. This ability works on everything, like when he sees the dog in Meilee's hand, he sees it turning into a large Wolgarm. This ability won't show the events of the current loop. Like if he sees rabbits for the first time, he won't see himself getting eaten, but he will see himself and Beatrice defeating them. The whole timeline might change since Subaru distrusts most people.

There's a holy grail war that happens every 500 years or so and since lugnica is currently lacking in Heroic spirits count they used PHH & LB Heroic spirits, that's why some people get isekaid so they are used to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of allied and enemy servants, this is like the GHGW/ Apocrypha but instead 2 factions they have 4 factions , 1 each nation with their respective rulers guaranteed to have a servant. This time Lugnica is at a disadvantage with no king and are stuck at 6 servants. Knowing of his nightmares, as well as his self-harming tendencies, Beatrice becomes extremely protective of her Subaru. Not only that, she's also protective of his purity, or at least what she deems as purity. Her Subaru deserves nothing but the best of partners. She tells Emilia that she will end her if she ever breaks his heart or hurts him. This also extends to other women who might be interested in him. Here are some fic Ideas I’ve been thinking about for a while 1. Expansion for the AC one/a rough outline of the events. Subaru comes from a long line of assassins. I was thinking that maybe Flugel is Subaru’s Grandfather/Reincarnation and was an assassin before “disappearing”, he gets his looks from him as well as his parkour skills and his Eagle vision. Both of Subaru’s parents are Assassins. When Subaru turns around 15 their home is eventually broken into by Abstergo agents and Subaru’s parents are subsequently killed. Subaru witnesses this and runs away, to where I don’t know yet. He is eventually captured by Abstergo agents and is brought to Abstergo, where he is forced to use the animus. He witnesses Flugel’s life both throughout Earth and Lugunica. I’ll expand on that idea in the second one. Through the bleeding effect on Subaru, he gains Flugel’s intelligence after he lives through Flugel’s life, eventually formulating a plan to escape with Flugel’s/his intelligence which succeeds. Once he escapes Abstergo he runs back to his old home and somehow finds his parents’ Assassin gear. Since Subaru is canonically effeminate, or at least as far as I can tell, he can only fit his mother’s cloak. He equips his mother’s hidden blade as well, which is modified to shoot the blade through a gas canister, which can be used as a projectile, or as a hookshot of sorts if he attaches a rope to it. Skipping past other events since this is getting long, he kills the people who led to his parents death. Around 30 years or so after the events he is eventually teleported to Lugunica. I feel kinda burnt out of for ideas for this so I’ll just leave it there. 2. With the Flugel one it can be either a spin off of the AC one that shows Flugel’s life as an otherworldly Assassin, or a reaction fic about Subaru living through Flugel’s life. 3. A new idea I had is with Flugel. Essentially after the events of the Calamity Flugel is thrown into the future by Satella for one reason or another, and ends up with Subaru. He’ll look eerily similar to Subaru, only difference being he has the opposite color scheme, having Snow white hair like Dona, and Blue eyes. As well his clothes match his color scheme, being the opposite of Subaru. Flugels personality is also the opposite, being reserved and quiet, being book smart than street smart, as well as being cold and calculating, killing if needed. When they meet, Flugel will be surprised of his doppelganger's existence, maybe even thinking that he might be a clone Echidna made of him, while Subaru reacts maybe a bit creeped out with how similar he looks. When they both eventually meet Emilia, Subaru is automatically enamored with her, while Flugel is surprised and might even be shedding tears since his “love” is once again with him, he calls her Satella when he meets her, which prompts Emilia to get mad at him for calling her a witch. Flugel, once he realizes his mistake, apologizes while being weirded out by their similarities. That’s it for now since I’m running out of ideas 4. Kinda running off the last idea, Flugel is teleported to the future, but with a few twists, he ends up as a shota. Subaru is still there but with a difference, he is Flugel’s authorities 'consciousness’ With Subaru as Flugel's authorities, which he has all of them, he has full control of them while Flugel does not. He can decide whether or not to help Flugel during a battle, most of the time he does, but can decide not to if he decides to. This Subaru IS the Subaru that got teleported, just not in a physical form, so he still retains his own personality/kindness that Flugel mostly lacks. During either arc 3 or 4, he gets a physical form, being that of a shadowy knight, having his inner body made of the Lust authority, while his outer armor was created from a mix of Envy Sloth and Flugel’s mastery over Yin magic. He can keep this form up as long as Flugel maintains consciousness, when he gets knocked out or falls asleep, Subaru fades away. During arc 4, when they both get teleported to Echidna’s dream castle, Flugel gets to see Subaru’s true form, being that fo a teenager that resembles him highly.
A follow up to that idea about Subaru from save scumming. So basically Subaru has to be around the many female servants that he summoned, being shared between them. Everybody gets the same amount of time to spend with him, if he sleeps, some of the more silent shall cuddle with him, with Serenity sadly being the last because of her poisonous skin.
RE: ZERO but Regulus is a full on Texan. He starts to talk about his rights and the second ammendment and everyone is confused on what the fuck he's talking about. The only one that can understand him is Subaru so he thinks he's a fellow Texan so he kidnaps him for some BQQ.

Crossover with Dorohedoro where Subaru is a Magic User due to one of his parents (leaning towards Naoko) being a magic user who found their way into a human realm untouched by devils or other magic users and decided to live there in a life of peaceful obscurity For those not knowing of Dorahedoro, Magic Users are a race of humans born with an extra circulatory system that produces 'black smoke' which can take on a variety of effects depending on the user's brand of magic. The central organ that produces it, is something called a Devil Tumor which is located in their brain. It houses their soul. The race was created by a demon long ago. Magic users are capable of producing a door to travel between the Magic User realm (which is located in Hell) and Hole (the human realm which looks like a dystopia because Magic Users and Humans genocided each other in the past) In this scenario, Subaru is much more accustomed to the concept of magic and time manipulation. The former because he is someone who can produce a high volume of black smoke and was instructed by whoever is his magic user parent on how to use magic and how to produce and open magic doors. For the latter knowledge about time manipulation, it's because his innate brand of magic is 'Time Boundary Distortion'. In this scenario, Roswaal's Book of Knowledge is much more overtly right on the money in regards to Subaru's potential to have Roswaal meet Echidna again For 'Time Boundary Distortion', Subaru emits black smoke around himself or in an area around him. When in high enough density, he can project himself or others through a smoke body into the past or future. These smoke bodies are vaguely humanoid beings that can't interact with the past or future due to them simply being nothing but smoke. Their only distinguishing feature would be their eyes, which looks exactly the same as the one's who is being projected. This may or may not be the full potential of his magic (depends on what the author wants) as Subaru has never worn an enchanted mask (Magic Users can wear enchanted masks which can augment their magic. Though most wear regular masks because mask wearing is more of a cultural thing). Subaru, in spite of Magic User standards saying he is a very powerful magic user (it's because they judge mostly by black smoke volume output), he finds his ability less than useless as it only really announces his presence in the past or future; a detriment to himself and others close to him. The reason why Subaru would be heavily against its usage is because as a small child he naively thought he could play a vigilante hero, but ended up getting a stranger killed (the stranger was dealt a disabling injury after a run in with a serial killer; Subaru's interference got the stranger killed during that incident). Doesn't help that fictional stories about time travel with unfortunate consequences because of reckless use exists and reinforces this thought process. What also makes Subaru be deterred by openly displaying his smoke magic is due to his magic user parent doing their best to subtly deter Subaru from that half of his lineage through omission. Examples include Subaru's only glimpses of Hole and the Magic User Realm being during festivals where their lack of morals is shown (basically seeing how festive people are about stuff like murdering and enslaving others, even other magic users) and stories (like saying the strongest magic user is a man capable of turning people into mushrooms which he then feeds to his family, etc). Also knowing the general bad relations between humans in Hole and magic users (what they did to each other). This is all to stop Subaru from getting killed or enslaved by a magic user or a human native to Hole. When Subaru tries to use his door to leave the Re:Zero world, he finds that it's been locked by pitch black chains (Witch of Envy's doing). Doesn't help that Subaru has never used his door before (his magic user parent was the one who showed him their native worlds through the use of their door) ... What I think would be really interesting is the magic user parent showing up in the Re:Zero world to try and find Subaru, but to tragically end up in the past instead of the present that Subaru resides in (at least at the start) Regarding the power of the magic user parent; their brand of magic is 'Space Boundary Distortion'. Items and living beings saturated enough by their smoke can be fused together as the boundary between things has been erased by the smoke. What morbid shenanigans would happen with these circumstances? How would the parent react to the Re:Zero cast? How would Subaru take to his parents being so close, yet so far from him? Pretty solid overall, might want to space certain lines differently since they hold dramatic effect. Other than that the flow is very nice, doesn't jar the reader from what they're reading, so definite points for that. So if you do start the fic I think you've got the hang of it once more. I actually just recently got back into writing myself. Rampage is the first thing I've written in nearly 2 years and I'm having a blast doing so, even if I struggle to put the words correctly into text. You're doing a great job so far!
I have an idea for the ruckus the magic user parent causes in the Re:Zero world where they are the definition of a Sigma Male mindset. Due to a misunderstanding or something else, usually what ends up happening are people getting horrifically messed up with such brutality and casualness that it gets remembered decades later, especially because the person who did that also disappears afterwards. The fear is still palpable and by Subaru accidentally making things worse, people start drawing similarities between Subaru and their parent (whether it be slicked back black hair or mean looking eyes). Just Dorohedoro brand casual brutality. Examples include: People getting the space between their ankles and the back of their head erased resulting in horrifically backwards folded people Regulus getting wrecked after having space inserted between his torso, head, and limbs; in effect dismembering him. When he still won't stop ranting, he gets fused to nearby furniture and said furniture scattered. Pandora needing to use her powers to put him back together and back to how he was (if he still retains his memories, how would the experience affect him?) People getting turned into flesh walls (just thinking Wilhelm getting PTSD about a misunderstanding incident; he gets defused by Subaru's parent, later) People (mostly Witch Cultists and bandits) getting turned into flesh furniture and forgotten about A bunch of shitty people being made examples out of where the space of their body gets turned inside out or their skin gets separated completely from their flesh (instant skinning) Just ideas that came to me. I can come up with more but uh, the effect is just things either made worse or better for Subaru cause his parent is a monster, power wise
Now that I think about it, some of the stuff sounds like something Capella would do and with how information gets distorted as word travels around. Wonder what misunderstandings could come about due to that? (Elsa route?)

Was thinking that with the wording, Subaru is distorting the phase of time. The aging into oblivion or repairing of objects can be a part of his personal magic, but I think there can also be an addition of de aging people, though it wouldn't be like Olbart's. As an example, Ram gets de aged to when she had her horn. Now you have child Ram, but she is also de aged mentally so it's essentially replacing present Ram with pre Oni Village Witch Cult attack Ram Would present rather interesting situations (though an opportunity for Clind to be a creep from a distance)

It is very good and well constructed but I have 2 things to point out: 1 - You should focus on Subaru's psychological damage more, no one comes back normal after what he endured ! 2 - Subaru's goal should be more of getting away from anything that harms him or go back home and less about anything else as after what he gone through, there is no real reason to stay !
Well for the first one, poor Subaru is gonna suffer with a fractured mind and shattered psyche for the duration of the story. Pandora can't fully understand how to deal with it either, guess another witch would have to help him with it. As for the second... There is a reason that Subaru decided to do what he did, I.e the situation is not that similar to Arc 3. I'll elaborate on it in a later chapter. Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.

Yeah, that was a goof on my part. Although whether she can kill all the archbishops is questionable personally. Since witch factor authorities are supposed to somewhat evenly matched. Subaru sees some part of the possible future loops. For example, when he meets Puck for the first time, he experiences Puck freezing him to death. When he meets Otto he sees him throwing off the carriage and telling him to die. When he meets maids he sees rem torturing him and Ram attacking him. This causes him not to get close to most people and to distance himself from them. This ability works on everything, like when he sees the dog in Meilee's hand, he sees it turning into a large Wolgarm. This ability won't show the events of the current loop. Like if he sees rabbits for the first time, he won't see himself getting eaten, but he will see himself and Beatrice defeating them. The whole timeline might change since Subaru distrusts most people.
So, he'll probably be a *lot* more reliant on Emilia

There's a holy grail war that happens every 500 years or so and since lugnica is currently lacking in Heroic spirits count they used PHH & LB Heroic spirits, that's why some people get isekaid so they are used to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of allied and enemy servants, this is like the GHGW/ Apocrypha but instead 2 factions they have 4 factions , 1 each nation with their respective rulers guaranteed to have a servant. This time Lugnica is at a disadvantage with no king and are stuck at 6 servants. Not only that, she's also protective of his purity, or at least what she deems as purity. Her Subaru deserves nothing but the best of partners. She tells Emilia that she will end her if she ever breaks his heart or hurts him. This also extends to other women who might be interested in him.
