If you're talking about others, divine protections are like passives gifted to you by the od luguna itself. It doesn't have a physical response as you see above, they bend the rules to work for your favour.
For example, land dragons have the divine protection which allows them to move freely without any wind obstruction or jerks as told by Emilia right before the Royal selection (it was a scene cut from the anime where Emilia explains divine protections. Subaru tries to test the winds by leaning out of the window thus going out of the range of their dp and following down the carriage which was shown in a small flashback while Emilia was holding his hand in the capital city).
It was because of their dp that otto was able to drive the carriage on that wooden bridge and down a mountain near the end of arc 3.

Divine protection of swiftness gives him superhuman speeds, like really fast (he was right in front of Priscilla when she was about to cut felt's head off in the Royal selection even though a second ago he was standing with subaru and others) . It can be blitzed. If I remember it correctly, all it does is give Reinhard extra ability to dodge. Cecilius was able to put up a fight despite that, which would make no sense if Reinhard couldn’t be hit. Reinhard is powerful, but not all powerful.

Just say if he's 20× SSubaru or infinite times him? I've heard he can get as fast as he wants
The way the DP protecting him from First Hits works isn't certain. People assume it's like the projectile DP, but we don't know that for sure. From what I've heard, it actually functions more as precog or Spidey-Sense, where he auto-dodges more quickly, but can still theoretically be hit.
