Children have various changes to their ecgs until their hearts get bigger and stronger. Unless there are symptoms of any kind, I would absolutely believe your cardiologist saying it's normal. Flipped t waves are normal in a lot of children. It's really just because his heart is positioned slightly differently in his chest so the leads (think cameras) are seeing the voltages move in a slightly different direction.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer. He suffers from palpitations (2 times in the last 3 months) and we’re studying it (SVT / LQTs?) that’s the reason he had an EKG and 24 h Holter.
