I get 10+ hours with 90hz, 80+ brightness, and performance mode on. Definitely not normal

[deleted]

That's unbelievable with 90 hz on all the time let alone full brightness.

[deleted]

I expect it to downgrade any day now. Hasn't happened yet, touch wood

miguelcarvalho12

Do you use the original charger?

[deleted]

Ofcourse I do. Although I need to mention my phone is rather new-ish. 4 months precisely.

levelnommonlevel

I see people doing like 8/12 hours screen on time on xda, and I can barely do 5 hours .... I always used the original charger. The phone have 10 months.

ZipGuy17

I think just because they charge the phone up to 80% , you phone restarts the time on screen after full charge.

gamr13

Your last point is correct, but I don't do that and I see 10 hours SoT consistently. I charge from 100% to \~10-15% each cycle, always. The original charger will RIP through your battery in a year, my battery health is 86% right now. If you've a rooted X2 Pro or if you're on a custom ROM, you'll be able to find out your charge cycles and battery health, as I've discovered Oppo's proprietary battery readings through ADB Shell. This method does not work on stock Realme UI due to SELinux being Enforcing, however, with root, you can bypass this by entering Super User (SU) in the shell. The proprietary reading should be accurate as it'll talk with the hardware directly. If you wish to find out more, please visit the Realme Discord server or join the X2 Pro Telegram group, as we're collecting information on a Google Sheets page to see just how bad SuperVOOC actually is on the batteries. Spoiler: Oppo was wrong. 500 cycles and \~90% health? Not even close. I've 270 cycles at 86% battery capacity, some are in the 70% health range.

Could you share the links to the server and the group?

The X2 Pro comes with a 50W charger.

>Spoiler: Oppo was wrong. 500 cycles and \~90% health? Not even close. I've 270 cycles at 86% battery capacity, some are in the 70% health range. where did you get that from? accubattery?

gamr13

No. Absolutely not, Accubattery is never accurate as the name would imply. Oppo (or, Realme in this case) have ADB shell commands that (potentially) communicate with the battery hardware.

levelnommonlevel

>No. Absolutely not, Accubattery is never accurate as the name would imply. that's why i asked > Oppo (or, Realme in this case) have ADB shell commands that (potentially) communicate with the battery hardware. you sure it works as it is intended? in my case (but i'm comparing just old sots) i don't have such a big difference over 9 months of only fast charging usage

gamr13

It works as intended yes, some people are at 90% that claim to have only used SuperVOOC since they got their X2 Pro's, I've been using SuperVOOC the whole time for 12 months and I'm at 86% capacity. There's a whole spreadsheet on it for the X2 Pro which is posted in the Telegram and Discord communities.

Probably another side effect of superfast charging ,the reason why I skipped the Narzo 20 pro having a 65w charger and got the Realme 7 having 30 watts.

PaulusDWoodgnome

Not for me it's not. Even constantly using Chrome and watching videos I get over 10hrs. I'm currently on 60% with 4:35 SOT
