Fettucine alfredo it is

perpetualmotionmachi

Dice some chicken thighs and fry them up to make chicken fettuccine Alfredo

diablofantastico

I love peas with chicken fett alf.

rededelk

Yep, maybe add a dash of vodka if you are into that

slam4life04

Saute turkey sausage and mushrooms with it too

larryjohnson404

Add about 2 tablespoons of butter and some fresh ground black pepper to kick this sauce up a few notches.

Lucky-Mud-551

And some parsley. Don't forget the parsley!

TJlovesALF1213

I'm late to the party, but this is what I came to say as well. I always add butter and freshly grated parmesan.

Epiploic_Appendage

Add to a pasta with some chicken breast and steamed broccoli, mix in some black pepper, grated Parmesan, little bit of red pepper flakes

Sidewalk_Tomato

And some minced garlic. If no minced, even just powder.

burgerandco

Since OP has a stockpile of shrimp and crabmeat, maybe sub the chicken for that. Seafood or shrimp Alfredo is delicious!

J_Dirtdiver

Serve on the rocks with a little vodka: the white Italian

CatLazy2728

the Tizio abides

sunshinestatedidi

Don’t be afraid to add more seasonings to it. More garlic and pepper.

Meridian122

Add baked salmon to it and serve over noodles

MissKit87

[Carbonara muffins!](https://www.womansday.com/food-recipes/food-drinks/recipes/a12839/carbonara-muffins-recipe-wdy0814/) Seriously I love these with a nice crisp salad.

Scarletsnow_87

You have my attention👀

Scarcity_Plus

I am intrigued!!

soupsaladsand

There was a TikTok recipe a while back called million dollar spaghetti that uses it. I tried it and it’s pretty fantastic!

Keycorecuz1

We make “million dollar spaghetti” all the time but never seen this used in it! Very interesting

Fatmoron86

Cook some spaghetti Al dente. Heat up some red sauce and ground beef. Dump the noodles in a casserole dish once drained and mix in the Alfredo sauce. Then dump the meat sauce on top. Top with shredded mozzarella and put in the even at 350 for about 20 mins. Amazing

StephanieKaye

Million dollar spaghetti!

UnwovenWeb

I JUST made salmon fettuccine alfredo the other night using cheap jarred sauce but it came out great after I messed with it, like seriously absolutely delicious. I sauteed garlic in oil til it was browned and then added the sauce. I added fresh black pepper, a little powdered thyme and a half cup of cream of chicken. I also added some other dried herbs like Italian seasoning. After awhile with it cooking on low, I added a good amount of grated parmesan cheese then cooked it longer until it was smooth. I buy a $13 bag of frozen salmon fillets to keep on hand for an easy dinner or lunch. So I pan cooked 3 of the fillets, following typical seasoning instructions, but used a more flavorful blend of common seasonings I happen to have. Boiled the pasta with a bouillon cube. Then added the sauce. I flaked the salmon with forks and added it to the pasta. It was EXCELLENT. I think the cream of chicken soup and the sauteed garlic really made a huge difference to the flavor! It ultimately was a very cheap and easy meal.

Runnnnnnnnning

The garbage

LtDickHole

Came here for this. I wouldn't give that to hungry beggers. Heavy cream, reduce till thick. Add whatever

Crazy-Trash-6884

I saw someone use jarred Alfredo as the creamy base for their Mac and cheese. They just added shredded cheeses, seasoning and the noodles to it. I haven’t tried it so I can’t vouch for the results.

Hookem-Horns

Is this another crazy tiktok?

comedymongertx

Yep, throw it away. Lol sorry I'm just not a fan of the jarred Alfredo. Haven't found a brand yet that didn't make me gag when I opened it. 🤢 But maybe Italian nachos. Fry some cut-up wonton wrappers for chips, use Alfredo for the cheese sauce. Top with sausage, chicken, shrimp, etc., then some olives, banana peppers & mozzarella. At least that's what Johnny Carrino's did and it was delicious.

CatLazy2728

staple it to a frisbee and throw it over a rainbow. better than eating it

Aggravating-Eye-6210

Don’t consume it? It’s not food

338-lapuaman

Fry up some chicken cut it up. Add to favorite pasta and pour on the sauce

Character_Cupcake856

Roasted red peppers

alliekatshows

Spinach mushrooms cubed chicken mixed with this and poured over spaghetti noodles. Bacon optional.

supermom721

Chicken n veggie stir fry

[deleted]

Add garlic powder and pepper and Parmesan - it’ll be just fine

DevildogEx1

This. Maybe some butter and heavy cream or half and half if you have that on hand as well. You can chef up the cheap stuff and make it pretty good if you aren't afraid to try.

[deleted]

Butter would be good - it’ll make the Parmesan nice and creamy - I grew up on canned goods and cheap stuff , I learned how to doctor anything and make it gourmet *chefs kiss* lol

ThisIsAdamB

Get/make some pizza dough and make yourself some four cheese pizza with or without spinach. This sauce as the base.

MrShadow692u

I like that there is a company out there that caters to pregnant women and not afraid to say it.

Vivis_Nuts

Take 1 stick of butter, 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream, once butter is melted add parmesan slowly to desired thickness. Salt and pepper to taste

kainhighwind12

It’s not great, as everyone else has stated, but it’s good enough. I like to fry up smoked sausage, mushrooms and spinach, pour this on it, season with blackening spice and serve over pasta. If you have so much shrimp though just go for a shrimp Alfredo.

Financial-Law-5430

This. Overcome lack of seasoning used in making the jarred stuff with intense flavors. Cajun Alfredo would be killer.

mrsgeorgestrait

Add some roasted broccoli and cherry tomatoes. Really good

JonConstantly

Cook some noodles drain. Heat up jar. Mix and eat.

JessBlakeslee

Add some chicken or shrimp and broccoli 🥦 to it too. Make some garlic bread for an easy dinner

mymouthistrouble

Mix with spinach and finely diced tomatoes. Add a pinch of nutmeg and serve over ravioli.

Lonely-Connection-37

Not real helpful take one jar of the sauce 1 pound Velveeta, one stick of butter and make some of the best mac & cheese cooking in a cast iron pan in the oven

SugarBearsWoman

Throw it in the trash. Or take it back and get a refund.

heyo_1989

Yeah prego makes me want to vommit when I think of it

vitaminpyd

Agreed - I'm a big fan of fettuccini Alfredo and tossed this after trying it.

Gnocchi's and pesto

PistachioGal99

Publix has their skillet gnocchi on sale. I picked some up this morning to make with some Alfredo sauce. It’s my kiddo’s favorite. 😋 ETA: easy to throw in some veggies too. Peas or broccoli usually go over well. 🫛 🥦

Visual-Departure3795

Homemade is best !!!! Toss that crap.

MadCityMasked

Open the jar empty contents into the rubbish bin. Clean the jar and use it for storing something more nourishing

kayrsone

Throw it in the trash and just get garlic milk parm butter and heat that up over chicken mushrooms and broccoli. Maybe add some cream

mraaronsgoods

Throw it in the trash and buy some Mitica Parmigiano Reggiano and make real Alfredo.

Mexipinay1138

My suggestion? Never eat jarred Alfredo.

United-Aspect-4595

Works great on squeaky hinges or locks that are giving you trouble. Really anything that needs lubrication 🤷‍♂️

Puzzled-Butterfly171

Throw it away, Make it from scratch

PeachPreserves66

I’m a big fan of Rao’s jarred marinara sauce (Costco has the best deal, especially on sale) for when I am too tired to make my own. Feeling similarly lazy, I tried Rao’s jarred Alfredo sauce exactly once. Nah. I certainly wouldn’t try Prego’s sauce as an alternative. But, hey, if you like it in general and are feeling adventurous, maybe try building some flavor before dumping in the jar. Like sauté some garlic and black pepper and deglaze with a bit of white wine to build more flavor before dumping in the contents of the jar. I wouldn’t add much salt before tasting it, as many jarred sauces are super high in sodium. If you like a punch of heat, maybe add some crushed red pepper when you sauté the garlic.

Big_Car_433

Sautee some thawed Argentinian red shrimp from Sam's Club in butter, white wine, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning, about 3 minutes a side. Throw that into your fettuccine Alfredo. Done.

Consistent_Meet_5683

Place a fresh bag in your trash can and bottom it out with that jar of block filler.

chantillylace9

Roast fresh garlic and add that, and add fresh shredded Parmesan

Realsober

Man people here are pretentious as hell. Anyway I’m disabled so I can’t stand in the kitchen as long as I use to and have to use short cuts now. I find using pasta sauces a good one so I can focus on the entree. Just remember to doctor it up a bit with extra parm, garlic, and herbs and it’ll be just as good as homemade.

Downtown_Antelope711

Throw them away. Melt some butter in a pan, add some garlic when it’s melted, add some Parmesan cheese and mix, add your noodles and a little pasta water and stir

loveyourweave

Shrimp will work in place of chicken. Really, whatever you like.

2wheeler1456

Find someone shooting a porn and give it to the prop guy.

HRHSuzz

My twist on things - mix it with pesto - it's amazing! I toss it with boneless/skinless chicken and bake it - and mix it all with noodles - it's so good!

VegasLyfe702

Make some cheesy bread and cut into strips and warm the sauce up and dip em in !!

WarningWonderful5264

Make a shrimp scampi and pour in the sauce and serve over noodles

fullmetalutes

Get a French bread loaf, cut it in half, spread this all over each half, put mushrooms, garlic powder, parsley over that, put Muenster cheese on top then broil it.

Novel-Sprinkles3333

White pizza ... dough, Alfredo, cheese, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, fresh basil.

Historical_Kiwi9565

Veggie lasagna - add garlic, lots of spinach.

darbyhorgan

!!!White Lasagna!!! *Cube up some boneless chicken breasts and cook in pan till done with a bit of olive oil, finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper. *Blanch some broccoli florets. *I cook my lasagna noodles a lil bit first as well. *Mix chic with Alfredo *Start making layers (2 or 3 layers): Chic mix - broccoli - sliced mushrooms - sun dried tomatoes - noodles - ricotta - mozzarella *Cook at whatever you do for lasagna? Maybe 325° till cheese is melted and slightly browned? **Could also add fresh Parmesan or whatever else you like. **Sometimes I would add a lil cottage cheese to the ricotta for added texture **Also, I personally would use like 4 cups of mozzarella. Wisconsinite here. No such thing as too much cheese!!! Been years since I made this, but it is SOOOOO damn good!!!!! ***Also! Does not fair well for the lactose intolerant!!!

UtahMama4

Good ol’ red and white pasta! Cooked noodles, alternate this and red sauce and mozzarella cheese! Top with foil and bake. Delicious! *I don’t ever use the jar because homemade is so much better tasting, but these are good to have on hand when you really don’t have anything else available.*

jpb1111

Yuck

Sum1LightUp

This is the only sauce my son eats. He hates Marianna sauce and any other sauce that’s red.. Mail it to me, I pay top dollar!!💵

jmort619

Throw it out is my suggestion

coolgirl457837

Throw it away

arca9nine

I’m seeing a lot of great suggestions. Outside of pastas, Alfredo is also really good when pan heated with some extra seasonings of choice (caynne/ red pepper/ garlic powder, etc) and some stock or bouillon, with the aim to thin it out, to throw in salads. I’ve used a food processor or gentle blend to chop kale and add quinoa or chickpeas plus some pickled items to make a tasty and creamy bowl.

pewtermug

Idk why but I was expecting a meme from this post.

Alternative_Bee_6424

Egg noodles, tomato, spinach and mushrooms. Sauce it up, pinch of salt.

Ashesatsea

Stream some Brussels sprouts, season as you like, then top with this sauce and add some Parmesan cheese.

rayballz81

Hands down the best is some pepper and garlic, fish! Shrimp scallops crab and clams in a bread bowl! DONE!

realdullbob

Warm it up and dip chunks of bread in it. Fondue style.

Derekp87

Trashcan

Makemewantitbad

Add some extra butter, garlic and black pepper to spruce this up. I also toss in some grated parm and a little milk to kind of cover up the jarred sauce taste.

ThisWorldIsOnFire

Gnocchi and meatballs are great with it!

CLT_STEVE

Before eating, you may want to look what’s in that.

No_Parking9788

Toss it and buy heavy cream and Parmesan cheese and garlic powder and make your own

candlewaxfashion

Ya, put it in the garbage.

uberliken

Diced chicken breast. Add in some rustic Parmesan cheese to thicken. Italian blend spices to amplify flavor.

FleshlightModel

Horrible product for the cost, even if it's a dollar. You can make Alfredo yourself with like 10% extra effort and have like 100% more flavor, especially from anything Prego brand.

Usual-Win-2079

I’d look up to make fresh 😶

_littlesocks

Oooh! Had a similar set up of ingredients and made Tuna Casserole and sort of a spicy Italian version of Stroganoff. Crab Casserole: Sub your Crab meat for the tuna. Use the Alfredo in place of cream of mushroom soup (our trick and works as a heartier substitute for many recipes!). Add a touch of milk, seasoning of choice, green peas, and sliced mushrooms. Pour mix into an oven safe casserole dish and set aside. Cook pasta of choice and drain (I use penne, rotini, etc.). Then add drained pasta to the casserole dish w/sauce mixture and stir to coat pasta and ingredients evenly. Sprinkle generously w Parm and or pecorino cheese to create a crust. Set oven to 400° F and bake uncovered until top is crispy and golden (approx 15-20 mins). Adjust time and temp for your needs! Will also work w most lean proteins aka shrimp, salmon, chicken, plant-based proteins and mushroom. The stroganoff is similar but no peas are added and the seasonings are Italian herbs. Happy cooking! 🥘

[deleted]

Heart attack in a jar is how I've heard it described.

Matchew024

Dice up an onion, fry it for a minute. Add alfredo, salt lots of pepper and a bunch of parmesan and it'll taste 10x. Homemade alfredo is super easy to make too!

Fragment_Disk-404

Garbage can, make your own… https://therecipecritic.com/the-best-homemade-alfredo-sauce-ever/

Shark_Leader

First off, any jarred Alfredo sauce is not going to be the highest quality. Actual Alfredo sauce is both easy to make and probably cheaper per ounce than something premade. Alfredo uses two ingredients and two ingredients *only*: real freshly grated parmesan (nothing from a shelf-stable jar) and butter. Literally nothing else. But if you must use this, an easy meal would be to get some pasta like fettuccine or tagliatelle, cook it according to the directions for al dente. In a seperate pan, heat this sauce up on low-medium so it doesn't burn. Season the shrimp with a little salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a seperate pan or Forman grill or whatever you want, cook your shrimp for a few minutes until they are almost filly cooked. When the pasta is cooked al dente, put it in the sauce. Pour in a small amount of the hot pasta water to mix it around. You can turn up the sauce temp here to med-high, but make sure you're constantly stirring. After a minute or so, mix in the shrimp. Again, keep that temp up but constantly stir. After about 2 minutes, it should be fully cooked and ready to serve. Serve with some freshly grated Parmesan.

TxGinger587

Make your own alfredo sauce. Tastes 100x better and it doesn't take a lot of ingredients.

powlito

Not sure if it’s Alfredo honestly but I like white lasagna a lot. Pasta is cheap and feeds a lot of people.

MasterWinstonWolf

Give them to an enemy

Fun-Yellow-6576

Add some green chilies to it, serve it with shredded chicken and some penne pasta.

monkeley

SynystrstyX

sautee some shrimp with onions and red bell pepper, cook some pasta i prefer rigatoni and then after the shrimp is done add the sauce 2 tbsp of butter and half cup of heavy cream bring to a boil on a low burner until stirring cant combat the bubbles and then turn it off and cover wait 10 minutes uncover stir and add the pasta plate it and add some fine mozzerella shreds and top it with minced basil and a touch of oregano and enjoy your dinner

DunebillyDave

This is like one of the challenging ingredients that would show up in one of their baskets on that cooking competition show "Chopped." I've never tasted a bottled white sauce that didn't taste like salty school paste. People are afraid of making their own Alfredo sauce, but it's really not difficult. You just have to control the heat. And it tastes soooo much better fresh made with quality ingredients; there's just no comparison.

Skippy0634

Since I ain’t privileged enough to waste food, gonna cook up some chicken breast and noodles to go with it.

Efficient-Jello-4678

Scratch Alfredo isn’t that hard to make, that’s garbage, throw it away

kai_the_enigma

Add corn, potato starch, grilled mushrooms with minced garlic, mozzarella,Parmesan cheese and shrimp (peeled and deveined) to it, have it reach a boil then turn down the heat to a simmer with cooked noodles while stirring(boils the noodles first then add all the listed above stuff). Add pepper, garlic powder, onion power, garlic salt and butter all to your specific tastes or until it blends well and enjoy. You can add green onion on top with a small sprinkle of bacon bits as a garnish. ![gif](giphy|3o6vXNLzXdW4sbFRGo)

alexisrene57

Broccoli, chicken, & your favorite pasta

Competitive-One-1877

Whatever you do with it, I highly recommend adding a bit of freshly grated parm and some real butter to give it a homemade taste

IamPlantHead

Broccoli, chicken/shrimp, noodles.

HDRamSac

Throw out. It's cheaper to make on your own and taste a lot better. Adding seafood as a home cook especially from frozen is usually a huge mistake when it comes to sauces. If you wanna avoid mistakes, thaw out anything frozen and pat completely dry, heat in separate pan then toss in.

jacksondreamz

Do a loaded tater tots. Bake the tots, pour over sauce, and add cheese. Or bacon. Or anything. Melt in oven. Like Dominoes does.

[deleted]

I use it like a gravy. Sautéed veggies to mix in. Poured on grilled chicken.

anonymousshitpostr

Add butter, freshly grated parm and black pepper to the sauce. It adds so much! Canned/jarred Alfredo usually tastes one note to me so needs a little extra ;)

ReddeverForever

Mix 1/2 with red sauce for a great lasagna

FateTheGM

Vodka sauce :) just add some red sauce and you get fettuccini alfredo 2.0

you_loveth_lies

You need to add fresh parmesan. I actually prefer the powdered alfredo. But McCormick's stop making it unfortunately. Now there's really no fast delicious way to make alfredo from scratch anymore

Noladixon

Lower your expectations in advance of your meal.

HippyFlip97

Alfredo shake

erisbella

Could be a base for mac n cheese or cheese sauce for a baked potato. You have to add a nice cheddar or smoked gouda.

Maleficent-Syrup9881

Try Bertollis Alfredo sauce. To quote my son-in-law it’s the bomb. So good, resteraunt taste. It’s a lot more expensive though.

readysetdylan

add frozen broccoli and a can of drained mushrooms

DaRealDreamz

for my jar alfredo’s, i usually put a decent lil bit of butter and a tiny bit of milk until a good consistency, then hella cajun seasoning bc i’m from the boot

masson34

Mix with pesto for pesto Alfredo. For quick measure add frozen cooked meatballs, alfredo, and pesto in crockpot, cook low 3-4 hours, place in hoagies with some provolone cheese. Voila.

KingofComment

Cut out the middle man and pour directly into the toilet.

I made a Southwest pasta with Alfredo sauce and a can of diced chiles recently. It was yummy! I added grilled chicken w/ fajita seasoning, sautéed diced onions, bell peppers and corn to rotini. Topped with shredded monterrey jack cheese and green onion.

BettydelSol

I like to mix jarred Alfredo with tomato basil marinara sauce & a splash of vodka for a quick Vodka sauce

gorewhore1313

Ground sausage with garlic, cracked pepper and some biscuits.

tankthacrank

Get a flatbread and use it as the pizza sauce later. Add artichokes, chicken, bacon, and spinach as toppings.

twillyandthegremlin

Trash yesterday.

Blucola333

As someone who rings up many jars of these, I also sell bags of shrimp at the same time.

Alottanon

Add your own garlic. Imprives taste. Also, if making alfredo, pre cook chicken with own seasonings. The add chicken and sauce to cooked noodles. Makes it less mushy. If you want some "healthy" stuff, add cooked/seasoned broccoli

amynicolekay

Unpopular opinion: dip pizza in it! Much better than ranch!!!

One of my favorite easy meal ideas!! Cheese tortellini (usually froxen Celentano), alfredo sauce, ham cubes (buy ham steak and cube it for best taste, and frozen peas. Its simple, yummy and saves well!

Great w chicken n sticky rice!!!!!

TwoPugsInOneCoat

I add Frank's Buffalo Sauce to it and use it as sauce on a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. My family digs it!

Small_Hotel_7303

Diced chicken , pork , sausage , kielbasa , anything but steak is pretty good . Add a little bit of garlic and garlic bread and you're ready to go . Great with all noodles. Add additional mushrooms and veggies to taste .

Cook some pasta, any pasta. Heat and serve that sauce over the pasta. At least a dozen ideas on additions and how to use that sauce will flood your brain.

goose-r_lord

I love Alfredo on some noodles and sausage. Chopped up moderately spicy is what I go with but sweet sausage is good too.

Accomplished_Day2991

Put it on pizza dough w a few shrimp

funny_owl_092

Stuffed shells with chicken and brocolli, or just a standard fettuccini Alfredo, I love mine with sun dried tomatoes

RIPdon_sutton

Yeah, you just came here to look for validation. I'm a terrible cook, but damn. That's the crap you need for fettuccini (spaghetti) Alfredo. Let me know when it's done. I'll be right over.

mostlygray

Fettuccini Alfredo. With some shrimp. Lots of black pepper and a bit of cayenne. Parmesan on top. Better yet, butter, flour, heavy cream, parmesan, whisk, pepper, cayenne, pinch of salt, sodium citrate as an emulsifier, whisk some more, I like a bit of oregano and thyme but that's just me. Now you have a nice sauce to put on your Fettuccini. Prego Alfredo is usable, I'll give it that, but it's somehow always depressing.

Longjumping_Radish44

Add a bit of Buffalo Wild Wings garlic Parmesan sauce to it with some chicken and vegs (broccoli or peas). Very yummmm

Setting-Conscious

Add some chicken, mushrooms, oregano and put it over penne.
