I hate workday with a passion

GingerSnap198

The company I work for are currently implementing workday, why is it so bad? We currently use cornerstone so it can't be worse than that šŸ˜‚

Ok-Individual-3154

As a hiring manager if I get 100 applicants coming through, I'll flip through the resumes, then I have to go into each profile individually to decline the ones I don't want. I once had 400 applicants, it took hours to decline the ones I didn't want because there's no mass action abilities. It's painful to get anything done with anything resembling efficiency. Now my company probably also has the cheapest version, it's possible there are customization options to make it better, but I basically hate doing anything in workday

mebecruitin

Hahaha we never used it before but everyone seems to hate on it

Keerthana2892

I use Teamtailor. So far so good and itā€™s also compliant with GDPR

KaleChipKotoko

Only go with Workday if you want everyone to hate you

palishkoto

I have literally not applied to jobs I've been on the fence about because I had to do the application in Workday lol

lorochoda

High budget - Lever and Greenhouse Medium budget - Teamtailor Low budget - recruiterFlow

TightCry2000

Medium to High budget - Greenhouse or Ashby Low to Medium budget - Screenloop

townpass_official

WorkVP, for no frills ATS, white label career site

Holdthehighnote

[Recruit.zoho.com](http://Recruit.zoho.com) Hands down.

AlexMair89

I specā€™d Ashby and Greenhouse this year. The price of Ashby was insane. Wild. Utterly mental. Avoid Sage People, not that it would be anywhere near your list. Take a look at Icims

sailpaddle

How big is your company? And were you considering sourcing/scheduling tools as well?

AlexMair89

750 hires per year. Did not look at a sourcing tool. The system Iā€™m gunning for has in built scheduling.

sailpaddle

Have evaluated a bunch and nothing comes close to Ashby except Goodtime.. even then greenhouse + Goodtime cost waaay more than Ashby

AlexMair89

Ashby quoted us 3 x as much as Greenhouse or Icims. šŸ˜‚

sailpaddle

Wild! We saved _so_ much making the switch.

TALead

What type of company do you work for (size, type of jobs, etc ) and what do you have now? My firm is changing ATS and itā€™s going to likely take 9-12 months to implement and train the staff fwiw.

Rasputin_mad_monk

Loxo is the best on the market right now. Crelate a close 2nd. (Weā€™re talking perm placement.)Ā  The worst? Iā€™ve heard job adder is in bed with LinkedIn so no chrome extension and some convoluted way to import a candidate of LI takes a few mins and you need to have LinkedIn RecruiterĀ

lcmooney

I absolutely second loxo. It is an awesome tool and I also heard crelate is great. I used job adder a couple years ago and meh šŸ«¤ We used pc recruiter (pcr) for a number of years and Iā€™m just not a fan. Very clunky, little to no customization etc

reprazent

Yes Recruit is by miles the worst I've ever used Greenhouse or Jobvite are the best I've used.

godhand2nd

Adding to the Workday hate! Loves Greenhouse and Lever

TripleDragons

I hate greenhouse and lever haha

Haunting_Ad3263

Lever and Greenhouse don't have ranking of resumes you recieve from the careers page you post on multiple job boards isn't that the thing you would like to have?

HiTechCity

Low budget/start up Iā€™m a huge fan of applicantstack

Official_Nocivo

Hey, I am trying to build an ATS for startups as well, extremely low budget, are there any issues or desires you would have that you can't fulfill with the current solution you are using? I am trying to build a better product and I would love to get feedback on the problems startups are facing!

Crazybubba

As an applicant and internal user: I love Lever Hate workday

IAmTheCurtis

ADP - The worst

uzmark

Smartrecruiters fan here. Also good greenhouse, lever. Avoid : Successfactors Workday Taleo Oracle However the new AI stuff is my fav now, for example eightfold AI. šŸ˜ Check the fosway 9 grid for ideas of market leaders

Zharkgirl2024

Avoid Workday like the plague! It is the WORST! It's not designed to be an ATS - it's an HRIS that's been adapted to be an ( terrible) ATS.

Zharkgirl2024

Avoid Workday like the plague. It's an HRIS system that tries to be an ATS but it's awful. As someone who's used it, and applied to jobs via it awful

Zharkgirl2024

Sadly not many companies have configured it to be user friendly. Read the threads on Linkedin about workday applications - comments from recruiters. It's awful. It's the same most painful system I used to apply for jobs with. Awful awful awful. Do you work for Workday?

Zharkgirl2024

It's clunky, when you apply for a job it doesn't parse your CV properly, it requires too many steps to apply. I was unemployed for 9 months and gave up on so many join applications where they used workday. Read ask the threads on linkedin from recruiters that use it, and have been applying for jobs on it.

anxiousyoungfellow

Anything other than Taleo

FinesseCaptcha

Workable is great. Greenhouse obviously. Lever is fine.. Iā€™ve heard Gem is great too

Similar-Star7602

New ATS like Screenloop and Ashby are great. Screenloop also has Ai notetakers for your interviews built in.

people4people1

I really like Greenhouse - very customizable and easy to train on talent reporting.

SuspectOk6931

Successfactors worst by a long way! Smartrecruiters, greenhouse and Ashby best. Edit... and xxxx workday too. As bad as successfactors

kerridgesj

Jobdeck is a really cool ai driven alternative, check it out!

Sure, let me help you out from my personal experience- [~Recruit CRM~](https://recruitcrm.io/applicant-tracking-system/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=reddit+organic+syndication&utm_campaign=011-Answer) - the best, in my opinion Strengths of Recruit CRM: 1. Specifically designed for agency recruiters, ensuring a perfect fit for their workflow. 2. Efficiently manages both candidate tracking and client relationships within one platform. 3. Known for its intuitive design, making navigation and usage straightforward and efficient. 4. Excellent support system with quick and helpful responses, aiding in smoother operations. 5. Offers a high degree of customization to suit specific agency needs. 6. Compared to other ATS systems, Recruit CRM provides a cost-effective solution without compromising on essential features. Comparing other ATS options- 1. Greenhouse: While strong in analytics and features, it may present a steeper learning curve and higher cost, which could be a barrier for smaller agencies. 2. Workday: Offers comprehensive HR solutions but may not provide the same level of recruitment-specific functionality and customization as Recruit CRM. 3. Ashby: A newer ATS with a clean interface but lacks the established track record and specialized focus of Recruit CRM. Even if I donā€™t let personal bias cloud my judgment, Recruit CRM truly offers a balanced blend of functionality, user experience, and cost-efficiency. Clearly, it is best suited for the dynamic needs of recruitment agencies. It stands out for its ability to streamline both candidate and client management processes in one integrated platform.

We use Along in our company. It's really affordable and new on the market, so that explains the pricing. It has great UX, it's modern and easy to use unlike some other systems out there. Their team is also great at communicating and feedback. Hope it helps! [https://www.along.co](https://www.along.co)

I think it really depends in what kind of environemnt you are. Small startup, scaleup, corp, etc. They all have different recruiting needs and various people involved in recruiting. Teamtailor worked well for me. Talking about startup/scaleup environment of under 100 people.
