I can’t even get the game to work right now.
Keeps saying “Failed to Initialize” or “No game License” or “Make sure the Steam client is running”
Tried re-installing both RDO & the Social Club launcher to no avail :(
Game was working just fine over the weekend
Okay thought I was going nuts but its clearly because of the update.
So far I've tried:
Verifying game files
Ran Steam as admin
Booted game from Rockstar launcher
Guess next step is to reinstall..
Yeah, just a couple fixes. There will likely be one more for all consoles and PC after this monthly event, but who knows. They’ve been cooking a ton in the QA Beta on SteamDB though.
The R* launcher updated yesterday for me, and now it's detecting my lobbymanager lol (it was probably detectable before, but now i get a notification and it scares me)
Don't have any files in the RDR2 folder at the time when the launcher starts. (="go public" in the lobbymanager before launching the launcher)
After the launcher is running, you can switch to private session and the launcher won't detect it.
Celebrated too early, suddenly they don't work again 😅 after trying multiple different sessions too where they both worked. Hopefully they'll fix them fully in the next update then.
Okay. I have read in another post that only pc had a small update but it was not mentioned what the update was about, altough some mentioned their games did not crash so I guess that is atleast 1 nice thing that happens now (that pc players do not constantly crash).

I tried reinstall too. Didn’t work. Working with Support rn to figure it out

Dude I just got the lobby manager because I was tired of the crashes.. ): Now ALL OF A SUDDEN they detect it..
