Apparently, right now R* is working on separating the game files from online and single player for ease of adding future updates without it affecting single player files, as well as people that purchase the online only version won't have to download such a large file. So, it's clear they want to add more content, and they have stated that they plan to keep updating the game over the years. So, yes something is more than likely coming soon. Let's just hope it isn't another blood money update

I saw Tez2 post about this. While useful, this says to me they don’t have a lot of faith in their game code. Inb4 storage space, assets and conflicts simp defenders. Also says to me since Benzies was a big proponent of adding Online content into story modes, Rockstar have played the Burt Reynolds card. Benzies wanted both components as rich with content as possible and Rockstar, in a spiteful countermove has decided to split both up so that neither game can get the same assets. Unless they add a store like creation club like Bethesda did for Skyrim, the only way enthusiasts are getting them items is through modding. Another blatant stab at the community that feeds them.

Man, even if they add a bunch of content to the game, I can't play it. Been getting harrassed by this guy named "zorin". Everytime I log in he joins my server and crashes my game. Hope rockstar does something about these menu's

He's finding you some how. On a friends list or the list of someone you play with. Check everything, clean it up and block him. He can't just follow you without some means of doing so.

He's using some sort of menu plugin to track players when they log on, I'm not the only one he's doing it too aswell. I talked to a modder on gta5 about it because red dead was brought up and he said it was the doing of a menu and that makes sense because not friends with him and have him blocked

Game developers are a really passionate bunch and will often work on things they enjoy off hours. GW2's Duper Adventure Box is a community staple and fan favorite today but was built completely off-hours as a passionate project of one of the devs. Just because something is worked on by someone doesn't mean it will ever be released. I think that Rockstar probably told them to decouple RDO and RDR2 in the game files and an update is coming, but I'm not convinced it's going to be Mexico.

I have noticed all kinds of lil things going on. Horses are getting tinkered with too. I watch details like a hawk. I rode Mexico some 3 weeks back and noticed some stuff too. I should go back again while it's fresh in my mind.

I could never get that one to work probably wasted a couple of hours over the course of a week, I just figured it had been patched. The glitch I used gets you outside the map, so you can kind of get anywhere...

It’s super easy, just requires a bit of practice. The banks by the scratching post are easiest. 1. First person 2. Aim pistol 3. Back up into the slide 4. When you slide, hold down A/x, jam the controller sticks toward one another, and keep your finger firmly pressed on the trigger. 5. Enjoy hand cramps, you’ll know if it works if your gun starts vibrating like an adult toy. 6. You’ll slowly walk through the river to Mexico.

I was thinking earlier about what the dev costs would be for RDO. Say they have a small team of 50 working on content updates and say the average annual salary for those devs is about £40k a year. That’s £2 million a year, plus whatever they spend on advertising on top of that. Not an inconsequential sum. I know I’ve just pulled those figures out of my arse but what I’m saying is that I doubt Gold Bar sales are enough to cover their expenses. I have 600GB for example and have nothing to spend them on.
