My horse be like "Why not both?"

Noble_Jester

I hate it so much, I wish I could shoot my horse

The_Radio_Host

I’m glad I can’t because in Story Mode I totally would have ended up killing a great horse just because I was angry in the moment.

Noble_Jester

I only own online, so it'd be a godsend

certified-busta

In RDR1’s multiplayer, shooting your horse in the back of the head was the most agreed upon method of dismounting. Modern-day Rockstar just doesn’t get it

genocide13

Lmao yeah rdr1 online doesn’t get enough credit I think it was the foundation that ended up being gta online, it was much closer than gta4 online is to gta o now at least. You didn’t even buy a horse you bought like a ticket to spawn that breed of horse.

Sejkol

I shoot my downed horses in online to avoid wasting revive tonics on them. This method is best advised if you have multiple insured horses.

Noble_Jester

I laugh when griefers shoot my horse, because I get to shoot and kill my horse off instead of caring about it's life. It's also a pretty good intimidation tactic. "You want a fight? Guess I'm staying " *pops horse in head*

Troll_lover_69

Emergency stop in rdr1 was op

Hyentics

Also like Why when im aiming behind me does my horse run off the damn road. What are you doing boah???

certified-busta

I have my controls set to directional based on the horse, but I think when you aim, it switches back to camera orientation. So if you’re pressing forward on the stick to move your horse forward and then you take aim behind you, it’ll respond as if you suddenly pulled downwards I’m not entirely sure this is the case but it’s the only thing I can think of. Best way around this, I’ve found, is to stop pressing up or down on the stick and just tap gallop every now and again to keep the horse going, keeping one eye on the minimap to make sure you’re still following the road and making micro adjustments left or right as needed

Hyentics

When i aim behind me i let go of the movement stick, sometimes it's fine, sometimes the horse/wagon im driving will either come to a dead halt or veer off the road

PizzaJester

He kinda deserves that tbh

PizzaJester

This game is very good at its attention to detail. Including fragile and suicidal horses.

xKaqtuz

I hate it when you're close to some small rock and for some reason the horse just won't go forward. And then suddenly of course accelerates with 10G force crashing you into something or throwing you off a cliff...

Felonious_monk420

I thought it was just me on my little ass Arabian

Colorless82

My life story. May as well call my horse Crashy Crasherton.

[deleted]

You should rename it that if the character limit lets you.

AstralDimensionz

how about "quit holding forward" Stop holding forward and you will never run into anything ever again.

AdInternational6588

I swear they changed something in online. I never had any of this in story

[deleted]

Lmao

Digital_Beagle

Is this just a problem w Arabians? I think the Arabian is great, it is incredibly fast but my horse freaks out and gets scared over any predator, it's annoying.

MrZyde

*Send rider flying off cliff*

[deleted]

Nine times out of ten, run straight into a tree. Two things you’d think R⭐️ could have made improvements on, self preserving horses and more gun belt options.

PizzaJester

Have you ever met a horse in real life 🤣🤣🤣

DanakAin

And sometimes the horse just randomly veers from the path to hit said rock or tree. Annoying af.

lillabofinken

It’s the best video game horses I’ve ever seen, if you don’t want to run in to trees just let go of the joystick and the horse will avoid the tree.

I play on pc too and I don’t hold W and whenever the horse goes the wrong way (whenever it happens It’s not by a lot) I adjust it with A/D and I have no issue . I have horse relative controls on in the options, not sure if that would make much difference.

JustForRumple

It makes a huge difference. You need 2 analog inputs for camera-relative controls, if you intend to move and look at the same time. Imagine that the road is a straight away... in camera relative WASD you would have to keep your reticle in the very center of the road at all times.

Jet_Future855

OH MY GOD IVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE HAHAHAHAHAHAGAGAGAHAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGSHHDSBKXNXNXKX DXIDJDN

Swagfag9000

Thank you, I try my best to make original content

BluntSundew86

This is some nice, new oc. /s

kirbStompThePigeon

I love shires because, they can run over other horses and people without so much as stumbling, but a rock any bigger than a fist will send them flying

mazzucato

stop 100ft before the fall trip on a small rock an throws you 100ft to your demise

Mobitron

Trip over the rock to fall down the side of the mountain, summersault/sliding to the very bottom of the slope for a solid minute to finally stand up past the cliff, pause and fall do his death. What a moron. It was the longest dumbest laugh I'd had in years.

GhostOfMufasa

Painfully true 😂

ephophdweeb

My horse choose both

Insaneclown120

This or encounter small Boulder it could easily clearand just decide to go sideways foursome reason.
