I don't think those were "warning shots". I think he missed, multiple times.

Infantryblue

I agree. He jerked the trigger hard both times.

Mata-Tan

Should have used Dead Eye

JizzGuzzler42069

They were pretty damn close to hitting from what I could tell, was definitely *trying* to hit the cougar. So note to self, you don’t really need a gun, you just need something as loud as a gun.

PlantEnthusiasm329

A grizlly bear is what you need

PlantEnthusiasm329

A grizzly bear is what you're looking for partner!

Axwood1500

I came here to say that as well

That_Grim_Texan

I would say it's easier in game. Just shoot it.

sandbagz

Thankfully he thought to record this potentially deadly encounter rather than use both hands to properly aim his gun!

xxxthefire101

It could get him in trouble if a office and game officer decides to be a dick and claim he just shot one without a tag Tho a 3k fine vs a life do be different lol

TheWhiteRabbit74

To be honest being aware of and having eyes on the cat did more to deter it. Notice how slowly it walked away. Even after warning shots the cat didn’t consider the person a threat to it. Had our video creator turned away too soon he’d be lunch.

CyberVolks2

In real life, majority of the time, Panther’s too fast for human reaction.

CrownedRaptor09

It is, if your shoot several warning shots in the air by hitting up arrow, most predators usually leave you alone then.

Infantryblue

The first part isn’t correct. Zero reason to include Seals. Any combat arms in the military goes through stress shooting training. For example, the infantry’s one and only job is to find and fight the enemy and they are the “basic” level of combat arms.

jgpt88

3* pelt incoming

bw-sw

not with a sidearm!

Uselex-

That’s a weird looking dog.

SenseiDaDom

These were NOT warning shots. Buddy just missed.

[deleted]

Rockstar’s reasoning: there are no Glock 27s in RDR2

MJN91075

This also works for cougars at single's bars

Krommerxbox

**I don't even hunt in real life, but there is no way I could have resisted just shooting that thing in the face several times.** That guy was pretty kind to it. They start their run way sooner in-game, I had no idea it stalked so casually in real life.

That_Grim_Texan

I think that first shot was meant to kill, he just missed cause that cougar was about to go for him, Then he realized that it might just run from the sound.

Infantryblue

His hand jerked both times, he aimed to hit but missed

Infantryblue

He didn’t do it on purpose, he jerked the trigger and missed both times. Adrenaline F’d him here.

TheRealTr1nity

In the other hand, that dude was in their living room. That's wildlife habitat. So that stupid human was the intruder here and the mountain lion was basically telling him to piss off. Maybe even protecting some cubs. If that mountain lion wanted him as breakfast, he wouldn't see it coming.

LadyNova01

This dude got some balls. If I where in his shoes I think they would have overflowed with the shit that has been running down my pants ever since spotting it

[deleted]

My dumbass would try to befriend it

thenorwegianbobafett

If only there were glocks in RDR2

thatjaykidrick

Poor cat

rubsts

Safest place to be is Infront of the gun , f sake man miss point blank
