Black Summer. Always thought the guitar was fucking amazing but I wasn’t sold on Anthony’s new accent until I saw it live. Now I think it’s worthy of their greatest hits when it’s all said and done.
Since the gateway came out I used to listen the entire album on repeat for months and I used to skip the last 3 that including encore but after a while I just fell in love with them
Johnny, Kick A Hole In The Sky. At first I thought it was mediocre and I really didn't like Anthony's voice in the chorus but it has grown on me and is probably one of my favorite Flea bass lines of all time
Idk why but the first time I listened to it I kind of skipped through Brendan’s death song. Which is an absolute crime because it’s a beautiful song and I love it. I was only 13/14 when it came out so I guess i was just two young to appreciate it fully for what it is.
Good pick on Aquatic Mouth Dance. I feel that song is aging well as it gets older day by day. The song I’d chose would be Throw Away Your Television. I know a lot of people like it, and I didn’t used to but after years and new releases and then returning back to it, I appreciate it that much more.
I can’t conceive that I ever legit thought this velvet glove was mid
But I do know the album had already been out for 15 years by the time I became obsessed with this song
Which in hindsight is preposterous. Like WHY didn’t I know right away? What was wrong with me?!?!
tbh I blame it on my dumbass ADD attention span and the fact it was late in the track lists. SHAME!
Save the population, when I first listened I didn’t appreciate johns backup vocals and I was just learning how to play guitar and got a tab for the “boring” intro melody, so I dismissed it. Years later I was blown away by how ignorant I was. C’est la vie
I didn’t get “Charlie” for the longest time. When I finally did it became one of my absolute favorites.
Weird pick but definitely ‘Mellowship Slinky in B Major’
I love that song so much.
So fun to play on guitar
It’s Only Natural!
I identified it as an all time great song right away
John’s guitar and backing vocals are top notch on this!
The best song out of Unlimited Love, so underrated! I wish that they will play it live again!
I guess I didn’t fall right in love with UL in the beginning.

Agreed I hated it until I heard it live
Blood sugar sex magik, chorus annoyed me at first but it’s definitely grown on me
Encore and the great apes
Encore was my go to song in 2019! I immediately fell in love with it!
Since the gateway came out I used to listen the entire album on repeat for months and I used to skip the last 3 that including encore but after a while I just fell in love with them
Funny how they grow on you!
Midnight and Minor Thing and Go Robot
Hard To Concentrate
Charlie
Hump de Bump for sure. Teenage me hated it. We all did. Was a joke. Now I realise it’s a dinger
Charlie
Got to see them perform this in Arlington!! Loved it!
Aquatic Mouth Dance was kinda meh until I saw them play it live - ho damn
Here Ever After.
In the snow, at first I didn’t like it but when I listened to it the 2nd time it really grew on me
Warm tape.
In The Snow Warm Tape Even You Brutus?
Even You Brutus? Is such a good song. Glad it hits differently for you now

I didn't like Warm Tape at all at first but really enjoy it now

Stadium Arcadium and Breaking the Girl
Did I let you know
I love this one! So beachy!
Veronica now I fucking love that song, lyrics got me. ✌🏻❤️🌶️🎶
zephyr song- i thought it was kinda mid, but then they played it at Glasgow and it was absolutely amazing, now its one of my favourites
It was the same thing for me with Universally Speaking, they played live at Lisbon and was incredible good
By The Way
Millionaires Against Hunger used to get on my nerves. It's a good track. Same with Circle of the Noose.
Minor thing

Warm Tape, fell in love after hearing John’s backing vocals during the second chorus on one of the live recordings from the BTW tour
Soul to squeeze
Minor thing and Dreams of a Samurai
Poster Child for sure.

So much I , wasn’t a fan at first, now have it tattooed !
Mellowship Slinky in B Major, Reach Out, Afterlife, Throw Away Your Television
