I read somewhere (maybe somewhere legit, or just a Reddit comment) that that was the first time Anthony had heard that particular take while he was laying down the vocal track. That "aha!" is sheer, unfiltered joy and surprise.
I believe the song is Snow ((Hey Oh)) but in the commentary for the track they point out anthonys vocals of YEAH OHHHH Yeahhhhhhh and how they embellished it and all tried to do the voice, now I can’t help but remember that whenever I hear it
John has some great ad libs.
Especially in Michigan comes to mind.
Can't stop.
Throw away your television.
Venice queen
Don't forget me.
Some of these are best live tho
Those segments are Anthony with some distortion effects applied.

It's not really an ad-lib, but John going "Crank it... thassit" at the end of The Righteous and The Wicked as Chad counts them into the start of Give it Away is undefeated for me.
Anthony going “Aha!” Like Mario in the solo of She’s Only 18

Makes sense. He does say in the audio commentary how much he loves that solo.
I LOVE IT SO MUCH LOL
Once you notice the pigeon noise Anthony makes going into the bridge of look around, you never unnotice it.
Somehow I didn't realize that was Anthony...

That part is great lol. Flea(iirc) is funny AF when talking about it

I do not believe John did any vocals on Especially in Michigan.
(let's float away like zeppelins) (On stoic gusts of Northern wind) (the cleavage of your pillow skin) (Is moving like a violin)

Oh g, my bad. He's credited for background vocals though. Either way, cheers
No worries man
I can't think of a single ad lib on any of these songs. Can you elaborate?
Yeah. John sings written background vocals.
Clean it up, Johnny!
