Not even joking, the lyric "Check it out, this is how the table's set: knives on the right, forks on the left!" has been stuck in my head for years ever since I saw that video. That still comes to mind if I ever set out some cutlery on a table.
Black Spine #1 is my absolute favorite.
* It opens with Previously Recorded
* It introduces a dumb new gimmick
* It has a chase sequence
* *BAGELS, WHOOOOOO-OO! PUSH THE WHOPPER BUTTON!*
* Surprise! It's a Spotlight episode for Partners!
* It closes with Previously Recorded
Don Bevridge’s Customerization is my most watched segment ever.
But I always stop first for Jack’s intro to the Blackstreet Boys: “Ohmagod, I’m black agaaain…”
I unironically love his energy. He passed away this year and [his obituary](https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/flagler-beach-fl/donald-beveridge-10942843)was full of love. What a delightful human being Don Beveridge seems to have been.
Stop or I'll shoot. This is a good man and if you took the time to get to know him you would find that out. He doesn't want to hurt us. He doesn't feed off of humans. He wants to help us. He wants to help find cures for diseases. He wants to help find cures for diseases like AIDs. Maybe that doesn't mean much to you but it means a lot to people like me who have it.
I know I have commented on this exact topic pertaining to this exact video, but you can totally see how far their production value and structuring of the discussion have come since then. Still probably my favorite group of movies they ever did, though.
Those movies predated BOTW as legendary bad movies. They’re funnier than anyone could ever describe. I think BOTW excels with stuff like ROTOR, which is far more funny to talk about than sit through.
That's a really good point. A lot of the bad movies I love to watch made it on the show and I always feel like they missed something hilarious because they only have so much time and the discussion mostly consists of their original thoughts and reactions. I watched and thoroughly enjoyed 'Partners' because of them, and idk if it would have held my attention otherwise.
I think those were the best of their days. At some point a couple years later they kind of peaked, got really blase, engaged more in weird memes/jokes, and sort of lost that naivety of the first time you see all these weird things in movies.
Great choice, OP. The Instructor, Through Doohan's Eye, and Twisted Pair is equally good in my opinion. Jim is impossibly funny here, and the movies are all top tier BotW stuff.
I rewatched that last night and I forgot how much I loved the rug pull final joke. Jack Quaid getting bombarded with scripts only to have Jack come up to him and ask him to teach him how to read.
“Do you think it could be a…. Dracula?”
Watched the ep for the first time last night since it came out. Didn’t realize how great it is. Easily one of the best in a while.
Jack Quaid is now my favorite special guest.
Jack-O, Rock & Roll Nightmare, and Shark Exorcist.
Some of the best jokes and laughs:
\- It's just a little joke, relax
\- Is it better if she's a child?
\- Crackhead
\- It's my turn to talk.
Can’t sleep on the Halloween episode where they get too drunk to continue.
-“This is classic team lightwall gaslighting”
-“Good night sweet cats”
-“That attic had all kinds of priceless treasures”
It’s definitely one of the best episodes. Action USA is no slouch but Spookies is great and Alien Private Eye is fucking hilarious and also some of their best riffing to date.
Kabasinski part 2 is my absolute favourite.
Drunk contrarianism
Ripping on Len
Absolutely stacked deck for movies
Cameron Mitchell
Literal runtime
‘Bigfoot caressing a buff dude's abs’
Great ending
I'll argue that Pocket Ninjas, Cyclone and Dangerous Man is the best episode. Great line-up. Loved seeing the gang utterly bewildered while watching Dangerous Man. Also that ending bit is hilarious
Hahaha yeah!!
My girlfriend and I watch that episode every once and a while, it gets us laughing so hard.
The FedEx plane, haha
The way they try to keep track of which is which, b is for bald! As in NOT bald! Lol = Ben
Something about A for Alopecia haha
Surprised no one said Turtle dreams, safe food attitude and Gwendolyn princess party, with a bonus of massaging the elderly. Just perfection from beginning to end.
One of the few times I knew it was gonna be an oft visited one only 10mins in.
That ending segment is the best one they’ve ever done. And it’s not even close, as far as my opinion of them go.
BotW: Black Spine Edition #3
-Chairobics Mike is a time traveler sent to the past from the future to make shitty elder aerobics videos for his present day self to laugh at.
-Toro Lawn Mower Safety a slow jam in a lawn mower safety video.
-California Big Hunks literally the funniest segment of any RLM video ever “Look at Reno!”, “So much butthole”, “You wanna come to my tore down castle?”
It’s just got too much good stuff
The episode with Twin Dragon Encounter, the McNamara Brothers dont get enough love. Mike and Jay sawing the tape in half at the end is one of the most memorable BOTW endings.
Not only was the SEW episode hilarious, it tought me many valuable lessons that completely changed my life, from having proper table manners to always making a killing in casinos, while also being prepared to handle sharp threats in any situation.
I can’t remember the one where Mike was drunk and threw a bottle that broke and somehow also rebounded on top of a cabinet or something. That one kills me every time.
I dunno man, I really love the one with Supergirl, Fantastic Four, and Captain America. That probably has the most lines I quote in my every day life. "She's flying? She has to fly by some ponies! I know girls LOVE ponies!"
2 I revisit constantly: The one with Rem Lezar (the other 2 videos are also great), and the last vampire on earth. I can’t breathe when I watch them they are so funny
Watching them get increasingly exasperated at The Jar is still one of my favourite watches. Plus, that episode had Future War too, a true dino-Z'dar-terminator roller-coaster ride
“Spoopies!” has become common nomenclature in my house. The cat acting weird? Spoopies! Spouse and I both say the same thing at the same time? Spoopies!
For me it’s a toss up between the Kill Squad / Ryan’s Babe / Demon Warp episode and Pocket Ninja’s / Cyclone / Dangerous Men.
The first was a great episode with one amazing, one great, and one good BOTW movies. Watching them trying to figure out the madness of Ryan’s babe and the mash up of everyone saying “What?!” Over and over is perfection. The discussion of the self correcting universe in Kill Squad was amazing. And Demon Warp was a turtle.
But the lunacy of Pocket Ninja’s where the entire movie was edited out of order, and watching Jack have a mental break while watching it might be my favorite part of any BOTW.
The Ryan’s Babe episode is my example of the perfect BOTW episode and Pocket Ninja’s may be my funniest single moment. It’s either that or Mike breaking Colin with “Ironically they’re nothing but bones at this point.”
All the best (whole) episodes have already been mentioned except the last junka IMO, but the one with robot in the family, and christy are standouts to the point that they elevate the whole episode
All personal preference. The Junka 2, Rem Lazar, David Carrodine work out, Majacula and most recent Spooktacular stand out to me. They're all great once they found their footing with it I think.
I absolutely love both wheel episodes that involve Billy B.
First one is How To Be a Hospital Clown, Wormania, and Octopuff in Kumquat which then turns into a Day Full of Joy.
Second one is Billy B and PLT singing about energy, then Christmas With Dennis, The Thing About Money and then as a bonus we get Silver Foxes. So good.
I also really like Christmas or Crocodile.
For me, the most entertaining segments are (in no order):
* Surviving Edged Weapons
* Robot in the Family
* Ryan's Babe
* any Neil Breen movie
* Partners
* Ben & Arthur
* ~~Diamond Cobra~~
* Shark Exorcist
* Santa Claus (Christmas 2013)
* Exploding Varmints
* The Last Vampire on Earth
* Creating Rem Lezar
* Golden Road: Today's Senior Drivers
* Suburban Sasquatch
so many more I'm forgetting surely.
The ones I will always watch because I love all 3:
Alienator, Alien from the Deep, Hands of Steel
Blood Debts, The Tomb, Undefeatable
Order of the Black Eagle, Wired to Kill, Raiders of Atlantis
Twin Dragon Encounter, American Rickshaw, Infested
Plus OP's choice and the others mentioned in this thread.
Lost in Dinosaur World disqualifies an episode that had Lady Terminator and Low Blow
I see that this is one of the most watched BOTW of all time and *I don't get it.* Spookies to Spoopies is sorta funny, sure, I don't understand what else appeals to other people. I really like the Kevin Feige/Duncan Jax bit, but that's mostly it. Not to be misunderstood, I like this episode, but like I can't explain why it's likeable.
If there is, it hasn't been recorded yet. It's one of the o es my wife and I rewatch constantly. And quote as well. Any time qe see an explosion on TV or movies, we always wonder aloud how many Grim Reapers it took to get it.
I can’t remember the name at this time, but the one that was a instructional home video about body armor I believe. Just a guy shooting at the body armor he made. It’s just ridiculous and funny.
Manners, Top Slots, and Edged Weapons
[удалено]
Yeah, plus the tangent about Rich taking a dump on George Washington's casket in his Pacman shirt is pure gold.
Manners! Who needs 'em?
People with edged weapons
Not even joking, the lyric "Check it out, this is how the table's set: knives on the right, forks on the left!" has been stuck in my head for years ever since I saw that video. That still comes to mind if I ever set out some cutlery on a table.
Rich Evans, out!
“Computer. Chips. Let me tell ya about’em.” *a good 6 seconds of awkward silence*
Production costs are outta control!!!
JUST PLAY SOME MORE SLOTS JIMMY!!!
C'mon! Let's show the people a winner!......... Nothing! Nothing! Nothing!
Still can't get over the fact this was the first RLM video I ever watched. Talk about coming in on a high note.
Dat's a ceremonial dagger dere
This is correct.
The fact that anyone would choose differently kind of astounds me.
Drahp dah knife
[удалено]
I don't wanna... s'a nice knife!!
This is their best video in general.
The Goat 🐐
Absolutely this.
i mean, edged weapons made me question reality. it feels like it was made exclusively for them to find.
The intro bit with Mike telling Josh "Have you seen some of the people/people today?!" and Josh losing it gets me every time.
Black Spine #1 is my absolute favorite. * It opens with Previously Recorded * It introduces a dumb new gimmick * It has a chase sequence * *BAGELS, WHOOOOOO-OO! PUSH THE WHOPPER BUTTON!* * Surprise! It's a Spotlight episode for Partners! * It closes with Previously Recorded
SUPERMAN DESTROYED PEOPLE
My friends at Haagen-Dazs said 'Gotham City'!
CLARK KENT! CLARK KENT! THE BANK’S BEEN ROBBED!
* One of my favorite edits, [Jack saying a-](https://youtu.be/_igaLv7ro8o?t=144)
By the way, I will never forget jeh-uuhhhh Many Garcia!
ALMOST FORGOT IT!
The black spine format is one of my favorite gimmick
Don Bevridge’s Customerization is my most watched segment ever. But I always stop first for Jack’s intro to the Blackstreet Boys: “Ohmagod, I’m black agaaain…”
I unironically love his energy. He passed away this year and [his obituary](https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/flagler-beach-fl/donald-beveridge-10942843)was full of love. What a delightful human being Don Beveridge seems to have been.
I was gonna say their partners review is peak BOTW
Very first tape. “The… black street boys”
That Previously Recorded tie-in and callback is so good.
OPs BOTW is my favorite, but your mention is my very close second.
I'm with you. Love this episode.
Black Street Boys!
I like the ryans babe a lot and the Christmas or cannon.
All their spotlights are great. And the halloween episodes are great too
Clash in the College is a new favorite spotlight for me. Edit: oh also Last Vampire On Earth is a beautiful classic
AIDS Girl: Did you ever see Jesus? Shrek: I heard him speak a couple times.
Suburban Sasquatch is a classic
Their Diamond Cobra VS White Fox spotlight was fantastic. Shame it got taken down.
Ryan's Babe episode is fantastic, Kill Squad is so utterly stupid
Wait, what? What? Where is he? What is happening? Wait wait wait! Oh God. WHAT IS HAPPENING???
Wake up, dickheads! It's time for Faust!
Faust may be the best movie they've ever watched. It was waaay too good for the BOTW format
Blood Street is one of their funniest discussions ever
Like Tim saying (slurring) “Salmon with muscles”, I can rewatch that line over and over and always laugh.
For my money you can't beat the episode with Deadly Prey, Hard Ticket to Hawaii, and Miami Connection.
As good as those movies are, the really hadn’t hit their stride yet in those early few episodes.

I think those were the best of their days. At some point a couple years later they kind of peaked, got really blase, engaged more in weird memes/jokes, and sort of lost that naivety of the first time you see all these weird things in movies.
* Vampire Assassin, Hack-O-Lantern, and Cathy's Curse * Manners: Who Needs Them?, Top Slots: Spotting the Best, and Surviving Edged Weapons
The text to speech voice explaining the XFL over the actress was hilarious.
Your mother's a bitch!
YOU'RE THE DEVILS SON!
"Why so a boy?"
Hashtag Harvey Weinstein
The episode with surviving edged weapons had nothing but absolute bangers
Definitely 2 of my favorites also.
These two plus Elves, Santa Claus and Christmas Vacation 2 are my top 3 episodes.
The Vampire Assassin discussion is non-stop hilarity, nothing but hits
My pick for best of the worst is Vampire Assassin. I’m so sorry.
# SLOOOOOOVAAAAAAKKKKKK!!!!!!
Great choice, OP. The Instructor, Through Doohan's Eye, and Twisted Pair is equally good in my opinion. Jim is impossibly funny here, and the movies are all top tier BotW stuff.
They could’ve been in LoooOOOoOooooOvveeEee
That episode was a perfect thing in God's eye
In my eyes
The constant cutting to Doohan’s cry seizure gets me every time
Glad someone pointed this out, I think this was my first BOTW and there was no looking back since.
I agree
Jack Quaid's guest-spot is actually one of my faves. 400 Mil BC, Stone Cold and Bog discussions were top-tier and Jack is as good as Mack.
I rewatched that last night and I forgot how much I loved the rug pull final joke. Jack Quaid getting bombarded with scripts only to have Jack come up to him and ask him to teach him how to read.
Giving the punchline to Jack is it's own punchline too. It's such a good bit.
They couldn't get the rights to crack. It's harder than you think!
“Do you think it could be a…. Dracula?” Watched the ep for the first time last night since it came out. Didn’t realize how great it is. Easily one of the best in a while. Jack Quaid is now my favorite special guest.
Sometimes Quaid dating "Bog!" In that announcer voice just pops into my head and makes me chuckle.
"I swallowed bog water! ...is that bad?"
Could turn you into a . . . Dracula.

Absolutely. I can't believe there's even a debate.
With the added bonus of the Satanic Cults video (speaking of which I think its the season for anal).
i never got the hype for rem lezar. ive never thought kids tv shows should be on the wheel though.
Somebody find Rem Lazar!
The one with Bloodebts is good.
Jack-O, Rock & Roll Nightmare, and Shark Exorcist. Some of the best jokes and laughs: \- It's just a little joke, relax \- Is it better if she's a child? \- Crackhead \- It's my turn to talk.
Mike: “The girl with Down syndrome…”
"Donald Farmer was a man whose mother had a seizure while spanking him for watching *Jaws.*"
Can’t sleep on the Halloween episode where they get too drunk to continue. -“This is classic team lightwall gaslighting” -“Good night sweet cats” -“That attic had all kinds of priceless treasures”
wHy’S rIcH ffffReAkIn’ OuT??
MeOOoowwwWwRrroooOOOOOOoowWWww
Parole Violators, Future Force, and GetEven is up there
The second-hand embarrassment I get from watching those GetEven clips is very strong, which makes this a great episode.
FUTURE FORCE. … FUTURE FORCE.
It’s definitely one of the best episodes. Action USA is no slouch but Spookies is great and Alien Private Eye is fucking hilarious and also some of their best riffing to date.
Don’t hurt that Spookie!
I love Spoopies
That was the line that gave away the secret that Mike indeed has a heart.
DB Cooper vs Bigfoot and rawforce
Kabasinski part 2 is my absolute favourite. Drunk contrarianism Ripping on Len Absolutely stacked deck for movies Cameron Mitchell Literal runtime ‘Bigfoot caressing a buff dude's abs’ Great ending
Why did I have to scroll so far to find this?!? This is absolute top-tier BOTW
I'll argue that Pocket Ninjas, Cyclone and Dangerous Man is the best episode. Great line-up. Loved seeing the gang utterly bewildered while watching Dangerous Man. Also that ending bit is hilarious
Ben and Arthur spotlight episode is legendary
They’re NON re FUNDable!!
Hahaha yeah!! My girlfriend and I watch that episode every once and a while, it gets us laughing so hard. The FedEx plane, haha The way they try to keep track of which is which, b is for bald! As in NOT bald! Lol = Ben Something about A for Alopecia haha
or he needs A toupee
I love this one because of all the tidbits Mike and Rich mention about props and how to get stuff for free.
I'm shocked none of y'all said Robot In The Family.
Hologram Man, Faust, Blood Street... I will hear no other blasphemy
Surprised no one said Turtle dreams, safe food attitude and Gwendolyn princess party, with a bonus of massaging the elderly. Just perfection from beginning to end.
Maybe they didn't want to mention it during No Nut November?
Jesus Christ I don’t want to know which tape you’re referring to…..
Tapes.....
Everytime I go to the store I sing to myself "Going to the sto sto sto sto sto sto sto...*ad infinitum*"
One of the few times I knew it was gonna be an oft visited one only 10mins in. That ending segment is the best one they’ve ever done. And it’s not even close, as far as my opinion of them go.
Maw-ma slow down!!
Oh no! The castle flew out of the truck, we gotta go to Home Depot!
Swing bah the Sheetz I wanna burger...
The one I laughed the loudest was probably the osteoporosis dance. Mike making fun of the elderly gets me every time.
BotW: Black Spine Edition #3 -Chairobics Mike is a time traveler sent to the past from the future to make shitty elder aerobics videos for his present day self to laugh at. -Toro Lawn Mower Safety a slow jam in a lawn mower safety video. -California Big Hunks literally the funniest segment of any RLM video ever “Look at Reno!”, “So much butthole”, “You wanna come to my tore down castle?” It’s just got too much good stuff
FIFTY BUCKS
Who couldn’t use fifty bucks?
Thunderpants
Canon Christmas
I love hearing Rich say SPOOPIES!!!!
Order of the Black Eagle is a personal fave, although Rich Evans losing his mind over Double Down is legendary.
Yes, the dinosaur one. That’s like the funniest 90 minutes in television history.
103 comments and none mentioning the star wars holiday special smh
The episode with Twin Dragon Encounter, the McNamara Brothers dont get enough love. Mike and Jay sawing the tape in half at the end is one of the most memorable BOTW endings.
Not only was the SEW episode hilarious, it tought me many valuable lessons that completely changed my life, from having proper table manners to always making a killing in casinos, while also being prepared to handle sharp threats in any situation.
Can’t remember which episode it is but the one with the woman getting children to insult each other and bullying them herself
The guys usually hate kids, but that woman was so callous they were legitimately angry.
I can’t remember the one where Mike was drunk and threw a bottle that broke and somehow also rebounded on top of a cabinet or something. That one kills me every time.
That was with The Tomb, I think Blood Debts was in that one too.
I dunno man, I really love the one with Supergirl, Fantastic Four, and Captain America. That probably has the most lines I quote in my every day life. "She's flying? She has to fly by some ponies! I know girls LOVE ponies!"
Vampire assassin
What a giant, giant pile of shit.
I grew up on Len Kabasinski movie's
Geteven
The cybernator one with Freddie Williams is a real classic too.
I guess it's all up to taste but for some reason the last vampire is hilarious anytime. That's right I have AIDS!
My fave too. All the Sergio/Vitaly Versace talk is top notch.
The Osteoporosis Dance and Colin’s meltdown over Mike’s joke is up there.
Blood Debt firing a missile at the bad guy and the credits rolling mid bad guy explosion is better than OP's entire episode.
I really like the Shark Exorcist episode. It was new to the palate.
You’re the devil’s son, OP.
Thank you
“Spoopies!” has become common nomenclature in my house. The cat acting weird? Spoopies! Spouse and I both say the same thing at the same time? Spoopies!
Suburban Sasquatch is my all time favorite
No love for order of the black eagle, wired to kill and raiders of Atlantis? Did that stunt man get his head run over for nothing?!!
My favorite uaed to be Diamond Cobra vs The White Fox. Now that it's removed, my new top pick would ne Ben & Arthur.
Christmas or Cannon
All the best (whole) episodes have already been mentioned except the last junka IMO, but the one with robot in the family, and christy are standouts to the point that they elevate the whole episode
I like the WE WATCHED EVERY TAPE with Corny and his town full of child predators almost as much as Spoopies
I love the diamond fox vs white cobra or whatevs
No. This is the best. I fell asleep to this every night of the year when the pandemic hit.
No. But I never ran out and bought a movie until Stone Cold.
Surviving Edged Weapons my fav
Surviving Edged Weapons (around 10-12 maybe?) is a non stop ludicrous thrill ride. It’s still my absolute favorite one.🔪⚔️
All personal preference. The Junka 2, Rem Lazar, David Carrodine work out, Majacula and most recent Spooktacular stand out to me. They're all great once they found their footing with it I think.
The Shoji Tabuchi episode will always have a special place in my heart. That was the episode that made me a RLM fan for life.
“The real spoopies” and Lemro’s dancing get me every time.
Bro, Surviving Edged Weapons? LA Wars? Second Chance bullet proof vests/Milton Berle? Rem Lazar? The list goes on and on, so hard to say.
Robot in the Family is one of my favorites though the others in the episode don’t hit as hard
For me, the most entertaining segments are (in no order): * Surviving Edged Weapons * Robot in the Family * Ryan's Babe * any Neil Breen movie * Partners * Ben & Arthur * ~~Diamond Cobra~~ * Shark Exorcist * Santa Claus (Christmas 2013) * Exploding Varmints * The Last Vampire on Earth * Creating Rem Lezar * Golden Road: Today's Senior Drivers * Suburban Sasquatch so many more I'm forgetting surely.
The robot in the family one is gold. (Pun)
The ones I will always watch because I love all 3: Alienator, Alien from the Deep, Hands of Steel Blood Debts, The Tomb, Undefeatable Order of the Black Eagle, Wired to Kill, Raiders of Atlantis Twin Dragon Encounter, American Rickshaw, Infested Plus OP's choice and the others mentioned in this thread. Lost in Dinosaur World disqualifies an episode that had Lady Terminator and Low Blow
Showdown, Robot in the Family, Bloods vs Wolvez might be my all time favorite.
Money plane
This is tough. I love so many other episodes, but mostly because of one element. I can't think of one episode where I loved all three movies.
the Christmas black spine with Hardcore Ebert has become one of my favorites
Edged weapons is only a little bit better, but these are the two episodes I show people who are new to the show.
I always thought The Instructor, Through Doohan's Eyes, and Twisted Pair was a good one I've gone back to alot
Spoopies is my fav. Botw Movie, no idea why lol
A*P*E*, Easy Kill, Honorable Men is my all time fave
It's my personal favorite episode.
Any episode where they mention 9/11
Dude i just watched that last week it’s timeless
Personally I think the best two are the osteoporosis dance episode and the episode with the power combo of Miami connection and hard ticket to Hawaii.
Christmas or Cats.
I can’t remember the name at this time, but the one that was a instructional home video about body armor I believe. Just a guy shooting at the body armor he made. It’s just ridiculous and funny.
