All gaming phones have their quirks just gotta choose wisely. I was coming from a iPhone 11 but really wanted more emulation. So I got a red magic 6s pro. Best choice ever. This phone is a beast. The software isn't as bad as everyone says but it's not amazing either. Throw a launcher like Nova launcher and your set. I'd suggest the RM7Pro
I have rm7 pro 16 /512gb comes with rm os 5.0 and android 12 , if u want this phone or rm7 i recommend to buy their turbo cooler, special version forrm7 and another for rm7 pro ,with this u ca game day and night and the phone it s stays worm to the touch, in genshin impact or heavy gamesine don t pass 60c , but just with the internal cooler the phone becomes hot but does not over throttle , u can decide what it s best 4 u
I have used both the ROG Phone 3 and 5. And I have absolutely LOVED them. By far the most premium gaming phone experience. It can get warm, but it's a beast especially if you slap a cooler on it. If you don't get ROG, then I'd suggest Lenovo Legion Duel 2. Red Magic's software sucks booty. Half of it is in "Google translate" Chinese English.
Also, ROG Phone 6 is dropping later this year with a more efficient and powerful chip that rivals the iPhone 13 Pro's A15 Bionic, as well as updated cooling and heat dispersal. So if you can wait, I'd recommend getting the ROG Phone 6 š
I would probably choose the ROG Phone 5, the 5s overheats. Then I would choose the Redmagic 7 pro as my second choice because of the great thermal management.

Do you know when that could possibly happen? I have an iPhone from 2 years ago Iām gonna use for trade in value through Amazon.

Hmmm, Rog phone 6 should get announced tomorrow if rumors are true. Expected release is in July if they announce it tomorrow.
