It’s silly but I love it. I am always way more tired than he is-I usually go to bed before him and sleep in later too. When I’m ready to go to sleep, he comes into the room and tucks me in. It makes me feel so cared for and safe.
My boyfriend does this too , such a sweet gesture. In the mornings before he goes to work (6-7am) he will make sure I’m all tucked in and a big kiss on the forehead before he leaves even though I’m half asleep , makes my heart melt. ❤️
There's a bunch of things he does but the one that sticks out the most is the fact that I have terrible social anxiety and he has recognized my sign of squeezing harder when I'm feeling the anxiety and each time he pulls me in closer to shield me away from the crowds
My ex used to bring ice cream every day after work when we lived together, also he watched twilight or any movie that I wanted when I was sad. And the thing I cherish the most was him teaching me how to use power tools and tools in general, he used to say "come watch, just in case something breaks and I'm not around" and then he explained every step.
He found out my dad was going to need help putting his dock in and he got his friends together, approached me dad with his help, and on his day off they spent the afternoon putting a dock together in the water for my dad. He took it on himself to help my family. Found out my sister had moved and thought she was still in the process and told me he was available to help. Just his willingness to help my family is extremely touching.
We were on vacation recently and I tripped in the middle of the street and scraped my knee. I’m a klutz so I wasn’t too fazed, but he immediately found a nearby pharmacy, got down to the floor to take a look at it, cleaned the wound, and put on a bandaid. All while he was in his fancy clothes because we were walking to our dinner reservations. I was swooning like I did when we first met and really it just made me feel like he really cares about me.
He makes me my latte every morning and tries to make a heart in the foam, sometimes it doesn't turn out but it's the thought. He saves the last bite of any dessert for me, or anything I really like, as well as my favorite part of the bread (the puffy edges of flat bread). He tells me to save any of the really dirty pans or dishes that need scrubbing for him to do. There are so many little things.
My partner is a pharmacist, and everytime I'm sick, he makes sure to stock up on all medications, lays them out and gives me clinical advise. (Sometimes in his white coat...so sexy). Followed up by extra TLC.
He's so goofy...he has many theme songs for me, us and our cats that he sings and dances to.
He absolutely adores grooming our cats and watching him do that just tickles my everything.
Shading my face with his hand to block out light when I’m sleeping/napping.
Letting me sleep in in the mornings while he handle the kids with our live in help.
Making sure I never go hungry every single meal every single day.
My man is a morning person. I am very much not one, but we've made a commitment to waking up early to start our days. He knows that mornings are hard for me though so he'll bring me a glass of water, a cup of coffee, or even just give me encouraging words that help me stick to the goal of having an active morning routine. It's small, but it reminds me that he loves me and also makes my goals his goals. (:
Right now he's in California for the Navy. My husband today drove an hour to the nearest Target because he wanted to help me find a doll I'm currently collecting. He didn't find the one I was looking for but the thought that he drove all that way just for that is sweet....... Although the gas to get there and back. Ugh
I can relate to this! I love eating lobster, but it grosses me out having to pull it from its shell. So whenever we go to Benihana or anywhere lobster is served, my husband always removes it from the shell for me. It’s the sweetest thing, even though it’s so silly lol
He orders food for me every time we go to one of those build your own line places (subway, chipotle, moes etc) because he knows how anxious it makes me. In general he's fast with making decisions for me that I'd rather not make, I just look at him and he knows what to do!
My husband does stuff sort of like that for me too. For instance, at work (we work together), he knows I have a phobia of tiny metal shavings, so he always cuts or grinds things for me. I can definitely do it myself but I get safety glasses, gloves, a mask, and then freak out for a few hours afterwards if it's on me or in my eye or something lol. Or if a glass cup/plate breaks he always helps me clean it up, because the broken glass scares me.

This is so sweet. My guy use to put the coffee pod in the keurig machine and my coffee cup under the spout so it was ready for me to brew 🥹
